Tucker = Shiro*?

Well on my retail White version, I named my guy Tucker. No spaces, no cymbals, nothing. Just "Tucker". Whenever I look at a file of one of my Pokemon though, it becomes "Shiro*" even on the Dream World site where it show's the OT, it shows "Shiro*" all the time. Anyone know why?

That is so weird, I tried cloning a shiny Ninetales (OT Pikbec) and it changed the OT to "Kuro*". I'm guessing they're default names for the player characters (kuro = black, shiro = white), but I have no idea what caused the OT to change. It also got rid of the Ninetales' nickname for some reason.
