ROM Research

ROM research is what is done in order to obtain the knowledge to make ROM editing programs. Currently DPP hacking is largely in the research stage.

Both of the above tools reqire the .Net Framework 2.0. They also both include NDSTool.exe, by DarkFader

ROM editing for video games has been going on for a long time. In particular, for Pokemon Games there is generally a large rom editing community.

Generally this community is built of people who use editing programs (tools).

There is not as many tools for editing DPP and hence not many people editing it.

There are some tools however.
