What is this piece of junk?
---------------------------

Consider this a pre-alpha release of VGMTrans.
No, consider this a leaked version before the first beta release was even half-way through production - that should give you a good idea of how stable, feature-rich, and polished this version is. You use this program at your own risk. If you do not understand how to use ctrl-alt-del to force an application to quit, do not even consider running this program. Seriously, this program is going to crash on you A LOT, but most of the time it will exit on its own.

I have disabled support for all formats other than Nintendo DS because all other formats are either incomplete or their detection heuristics generate too many false-positives.

Why am I releasing VGMTrans in its current state? I am too busy to continue work on the project at the moment and figure that most people would rather have access to a shitty yet somewhat functional version rather than wait months for one that is more polished (this is just a guess, however). I honestly do not know when I will have time to resume work on VGMTrans, but I expect to.

How to Use
----------

Drag on a file (ideally a Nintendo DS rom) and cross your fingers that VGMTrans doesn't crash. If VGMTrans detects any music files, they will appear under the "Detected VGM Files" list. Right-clicking these files reveals the option to convert them. Double-clicking the files will bring up a hexadecimal view. VGMTrans will also group detected files into "Collections." Clicking on a collection will display the files contained within in the "Coll Info" window. Collections represent all of the files that must be accessed in order to play an individual song. Pressing the space bar or the green play button after selecting a collection will cause it to play. That's about it, at the moment.

Yes, there are menu options which do absolutely nothing (or the wrong thing). Ignore them.
The basic tone and noise sound channels in the NDS are not supported yet, so some songs will sound incorrect.
