  4. I think it would be really cool if pokegen could integrate PO copy and paste teams or vice versa. I cant tell you how often I will make a team on PO and then put it on my game. What do you guys think would be cool?
  5. :bidoof: For ages people and pokemon lived together in peace and harmoney. Pokemon are mythical creatures we use in our daily life. We love and care about our pokemon. With each pokemon trainer out there are different pokemon tactics and pokemon teams. Some people will ask, what is this thread for? This thread is where we post our pokemon tactic (meaning how do you battle) and our pokemon teams. By doing this, we can learn how to battle better and to learn how to create our own pokemon tactics and teams.
  6. Since i got a Platinum version i thought i'd leave the "old" Diamond version and create new Teams for Platinum. i would like to use Pokemon i havent used before so i came to this team Idea: Still not sure about Movesets and Items. 1) Azelf - Lead Stealth rock Explosion Psycic Taunt 2) Magnezone - ? no Idea just want one Explosion Flash Cannon ? Charge Beam ? ? Hidden Power ICE ? ------ 3) Cresselia - Wall Calm Mind Psycic Moonlight Ice Beam 4) Scizor - Revenge Killer U-Turn Bullet Punch Superpower Pursuit 5) Bronzong - Wall Stealth Rock Gyro Ball Earthquacke Explosion 6) -Free Slot- that of what i thought so far. I fear the team may get too desfensive but i cant think of some good sweepers to ad.
  7. I need all these Pokemon to do Doubles and Multi Battle rooms in the Battle Tower. I don't care how you go about with the IDs and dates, but everything must be legal. 8. I had this in mind for a bit since I came into this forums..and also was the first thing I was looking for when I came here . The idea here is pretty simple. We separate the battlers of this forum into teams and we organize competitive events. The teams can be started by anyone...but must be organized and approved. I'd like to see a limited amount of teams..not 10 teams and 6 of them are inactive, the amount of teams for now should be preferably 3-4 teams. There will be events that will be organized by team leaders and what not. The battling can be done by wi-fi or shoddy. What I wanted is that after the teams grow significantly we can organize inter-forum competition..and it can get real big! With that it can help with advertising and we can get more members and what not. Hope this will be considered and accepted
  9. (Battler 1 v Battler 2) Shoddy Warstory Battle between two in-game teams Rules: Evasion Clause, Freeze Clause, OHKO Clause, Sleep Clause Pokemon: (In order of appearance) Chanticleer Pertelote
  10. UnderXRay u just made me this team i just havent got it. You made me this one. i just want not shiny ones. Im sorry for so many requests...
  11. Not really a request for a pokemon at the moment so much as it is a request for people to make ideas for interesting RP-related pokemon characters, and to form parties of them. Other sorts of thematic parties are alright. I would be quite interested in seeing what people can come up with, and create. Eventually, I hope to get the chance to battle a little with these concepts, as well. Examples: My team: Lævatein, the Forretress. Valentine, the pink Lopunny. Crevan, the dark Ninetails Lumina, the dark Gardevoir Yuki, the purple Froslass Malice, the Mismagius My friend's Frost team [Designed, but not yet implemented] Glacie, the white Glaceon Mischief, the icy Spiritomb Verdandi, the barrier Espeon Cyrille, the brawler girl Gallade Ciel, the icy Milotic Iris, the Latias
  12. Demonic Storm Wifi and Shoddy team. OK my friends, I get this wacky idea in my head to build one of my first ever weather based teams, when my brain is scrambling on what kind of deck I create based on weather, and I narrowed it down to two things: Rain Dance Sandstorm Rain Dance has its benefits of me being able to out speed most things and kill while boosting the power of water while sandstorm is kinda a stallish weather condition with the ability to screw up focus sash and boost special defense, now I have made a rain dance team but I like sandstorm teams more because of sandstorm hitting stuff not rock and ground, and setting up rocks is easier in my opinion. Demonic Line up OK so here is the line up for this team, as you can like most teams nowadays this is comprised of mainly OU titans and support Pokemon, unoriginal (for some Serebii members standards, they know who they are >=]) but still awesome when they get the ball rolling, this is by far the best team I have as it is bulky and strong, speed is lacking here but that is to be expected when creating teams like these. In-depth look Hippowdon @ Leftovers Ability: Sandstream Nature: Impish (+ Defense, - Special Attack) EVs: 236 HP | 24 Attack | 192 Defense | 58 Special Defense Earthquake Stealth Rock Ice Fang Slack Off ....................... Comments & Suggestions: OK my peeps, I start the game out with Hippowdon, my past experience tells me that Hippo is an effective lead and can set up Stealth Rock and Sandstorm reliably which is crucial to this kind of team as this negates the effects of Focus Sash, Leftovers and turns many 3 hits into 2 hits. Hippo also helps against Tyranitar and physical hits, with Scizor down Tyranitar can be a major pain in the backside, so with Hippo around, I am able to take down Tyranitar effectively as well as take hits for the team. Ice fang seems out of place here but at least it helps with Flygon and Salamence who is already being worn down by Sandstream and Stealth Rock. Zapdos @ Leftovers Ability: Pressure Nature: Timid (+ Speed, - Attack) EVs: 252 HP | 80 Special Attack | 176 Speed Thunderbolt Heat Wave Roost Hidden Power [Grass] ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Zapdos is one the most vital members of my team and probably the Pokemon I can rely on, being the main counter to most counters here helps alot. Since I don't RS, Zapdos along with Salamence are my Stealth Rock weak Pokemon though this is taken care of by Roost. Zapdos also acts as my Phazer since my team is otherwise set up bait. To further display the power of this guy I have compiled a list of stuff that die to him: Lucario Heracross Bronzong Celebi Breloom Torterra Skarmory Forretress If it wasn't for Zapdos, I'd probably have difficulty taking down the these titans. Scizor @ Life Orb Ability: Technician Nature: Adamant (+ Attack, - Special Attack) EVs: 252 HP | 252 Attack | 4 Speed Bullet Punch Brick Break / Quick Attack Roost Swords Dance ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Scraped CBzor for SDzor. Apart from Rhyperior who is not even that much of a set up Pokemon, I lacked many set up pokemon, I had CBzor as I believe revenge killing with him was best but in the end I just scraped the whole idea as I never really like thay Pokemon to begin with. The basic idea here is for me to set up as quickly as possible so I can do significant damage to my opponent, Brick Break helps agaisn't screeners that could hurt me while Bullet Punch helps with Tyranitar, originally I had 244 speed EVs here but becaise I was never really interested with out speeding Tyranitar (Bullet Punch still hits him first) I moved all those EVs to HP as the EVs Smogon suggests is only there if you don't have Bullet Punch. Vaporeon @ Leftovers Ability: Water Absorb Nature: Bold (+ Defense - Attack) EVs: 252 HP | 252 Defense | 4 Speed Protect Hidden Power [Electric] Surf Wish ....................... Comments & Suggestions: Lost a big paragraph here. =/ Short and sweet, Vaporeon acts as a team healer, while dealing with Gyarados and Infernape both who are hurt by Sandstream and Stealth Rock Starmie @ Leftovers Ability: Natural Cure Nature: Timid (+ Speed, - Attack) EVs: 136 HP | 156 Def | 216 Speed Thunderbolt Surf Recover Rapid Spin ....................... Comments & Suggestions: This is something d2m suggested for me to help against MixApe and Gyarados but after more testing and research I have discovered he helps against Toxic Spikes + Spikes - which are normally seen on Stall teams that would give me some problems, Rapid Spin would get rid of entry hazards which helps Rhy sweep. Also Starie adds a bit more speed to this team as well as status absorbing thanks to Natural Cure. Rhyperior @ Liechi Berry Ability: Solid Rock Nature: Adamant (+ Attack, - Special Attack) EVs: 4 HP | 252 Attack | 252 Speed Substitute Rock Polish Stone Edge Earthquake ....................... Comments & Suggestions: At the end now, I here we have the star of the show, Rhyperior. I was browsing on Smogon, where I found someone promoting the use of Substitute Rhyperior. Now I have been a fan of Rhy ever since I got a glimpse of the new evolutions in 4th gen around 2007, also there was some hype around him early DP. Basically how he works is that you use Sandstream + Solid Rock + Substitute as a defensive for him so you can set up up Swords Dance and sweep, the set I have here works a little different, near the end I use my berry to power up Rhy while having blasting speed, the thing the old version suffered from was speed, though he was protected by Sandstorm and Solid Rock, this set remedies his speed problems while giving him decent attack, which is much more scary than having good attack buy poor speed.
  13. While we're not a mecha for competitive battling, and I like seeing diversity in RMT forums, most in-game RMTs consist of this: *6 pokemon +moves* *people comment on moves* *repeat* But at the same time, I know that a well balanced team can help in the main 8 gyms + E4 game. Sure, you CAN beat everything with a level 100 Caterpie if you REALLY wanted to, but it's frustrating. So, here is what I was thinking of implementing, and everyone please feel free to comment on my ideas, modify them, or suggest your own: One thread for all the typical in-game stuff. 6 random Pokes, nothing else. And when posting it, pretend you are on at least the 7th gym, so by that time your Pokemon have evolved. Of course, Battle Tower/Frontier teams can have their own individual threads. If you're making an interesting gimmick team for in-game completion, that can warrant it's own thread. Some mono type, or Luvdisc/Unown/Feebas play through. You know, some type of theme. I spent like 5 minutes thinking about this, so I'm sure you all can think of something better. Previously said by other people:
  14. Have you made so far? we have 4 generations and well I can't be training the same pkmn everytime... that would be boring So I made a list per generation... post yours! 1st Team (as used in Fire Red): [sprite]248[/sprite] [sprite]149[/sprite] [sprite]065[/sprite] [sprite]242[/sprite] [sprite]059[/sprite] [sprite]230[/sprite] 2nd Team (as used in Emerald) [sprite]260[/sprite] [sprite]350[/sprite] [sprite]229[/sprite] [sprite]306[/sprite] [sprite]282[/sprite] [sprite]376[/sprite] 3rd Team (currently using in Diamond): [sprite]471[/sprite] [sprite]405[/sprite] [sprite]475[/sprite] [sprite]467[/sprite] [sprite]442[/sprite] [sprite]445[/sprite] thoughts comments? I'm still thinking which team will I raise for Soul Silver?
  15. Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Speculation Thread Please use this thread to discuss possibilities of things that you think might or might not be in HeartGold and SoulSilver. Please make a note of confirmed information in the thread here: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?p=50138#post50138 Some information from GSC: Regarding Pokémon availability: The game will most likely use the Johto Pokédex which included all 251 known Pokémon at that time. However, not all of them were available to be caught in the games. Unobtainable Pokémon in Pokémon Gold: Unobtainable Pokémon in Pokémon Silver It's also possible that the Pokemon included in the Johto Dex who now have new evolutions from Gen 3 or 4 could see those evolutions present in the new games and possibly a newer version of the Johto Dex. Or perhaps they won't be, like FR/LG? What do you think? Pokemon that have been introduced in Gen III or IV that evolve from or into a Johto Dex Pokemon: Despite being able to travel to Kanto, these Pokemon were unavailable: Out of these listed Kanto Pokemon, the fossil Pokemon are able to be found in the Underground in DPP, the three legendary birds are found in Platinum, but the starters are only obtainable by migration from FRLG and Mewtwo/Mew are not available in a 4th Gen game yet. Also, Celebi was obtainable through an item-activated event in the Japanese version, but not American. Therefore, it could be possible that a Celebi event could be in the new games. Perhaps with a GS Ball event similar to the Member's Card or Oak's Letter. What do you think about the Kanto starters and Mew/Mewtwo? Do you think there could be something similar to Birch giving you a Johto starter in Emerald? Or perhaps an item-activated event for Mewtwo in the Cerulean Cave? Legendary Pokemon in GS: I think it's safe to say that the Regi-trio Pokemon will not be included in these versions since they were already in Platinum (as well as obviously being in RSE). Obtainable Pokemon through in-game gifts Rumors: * N/A ATM Keep in mind this thread is purely for speculation as we have no actual information to go on. What do you think about this? Do you think other Pokemon will be included? Do you think Kanto will be included (or do you think it will be cut since it already appeared in FR/LG)? Do you think more of Kanto's Pokemon will be available? Do you think Kanto will be the same size? Bigger/more in-depth than in GS? What kind of legendary/event Pokemon do you think will be in the game? What kind of Pokemon do you think we'll get through item-activated events (such as Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus)? Do you think we'll see ways to obtain Mewtwo, Mew, Celebi or even Jirachi's first in-game obtainable appearance? What other aspects of the game do you think will be included? Or what do you think will be cut from the original release of GS? I'm personally really hoping to see something like the Battleground from Platinum where you'd be able to re-battle the characters from GS such as the Johto and Kanto Gym leaders (and maybe even Red, if he comes out of his cave...). Let's talk about it.

  17. So...If anyone has noticed a lot of RMT's have been have been.... A: Not in the right thread! B: Not in the right forum! C: Lacking any substance for us to rate D: Not in the right forum! So I was wondering if we could have a specific forum/Sub forum for Team rates? I happen to like giving advice to people on ways to fix up their teams but a lot of threads aren't being posted in the right forum/format, do not provide enough information for anyone to properly rate their team and as a whole they are taking up a lot of useless space. Having a separate forum for it would be beneficial. I also wouldn't mind writing up a " Required for all rate my teams" Thread that includes things things an RMT should have and the correct format to post it, et cetera. This should clear up the clutter thats been seen around the forums, and once Project pokemon is in it's more developed stages it will have an active RMT forum/subforum
