This page contains all publicly available savefiles that were dumped from original FireRed carts, which were used to distribute MYSTRY Mew by direct trade. The distribution took place at Toys R Us stores in the United States on 30 November 2006, for only three hours from 12 - 3 pm. Each savefile is credited to who supplied it online. The recently acquired savefile that provided the missing remainder of the boxed 420 Mews is credited to PP.org, for appreciation to the group effort of those that helped obtain and pay for it. The 426 individual .pk3 files can be found here.

This event was distributed to a few lucky residents of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, distributed during an event that celebrates the launch of Pokemon Sun & Moon. As the DVs (Gen I IVs) are distributed with 15 in every slot, it is not possible to obtain this as a Shiny when transferred normally through Pokemon Transporter. This PK1 file will not be compatible with JPN version of the game. THIS MEW IS LEGAL FOR VIRTUAL CONSOLE, AND CAN BE TRANSFERRED UP TO GEN 7 AND ONWARDS. This is a video of @RupeeClock's collection of the hyper rare Mew! (Also, it can be seen that the Event Staff's unit has a Restore Point function!)
  4. Sorry for the dumb request, but I'm looking for shiny and competitive (at least perfect to near perfect IVs and beneficial nature) deoxys, mew, darkrai, and shaymin. I know these are difficult to RNG for, but I was wondering if anyone could had the file for any of them on hand. Thank you. Specifics: Bold OR Timid Deoxys Timid Mew Timid Darkrai Timid Shaymin

  11. Hello RNG'ers! Today, I have prepared a save file for those looking to RNG Japanese Emerald's Mew for me. It is a copy of the HaxAras ticket save, but with both ID numbers changed to a special set that makes the only timid 6iv flawless method 1 spread shiny after 176+ million frames. (Refer to my earlier posts and threads for my desired hex PID of 7942EF72, with TID 60510, and 31337.) Anyways, this save file is ready to catch mew when using frameskip 9/10, turbo mode, 1000%, and vblank patching (all from reddit and bond697) to speed the game up to the only flawless frame at 176,000,000+ frames, which, instead of 817 hours or 5 weeks, would, after skipping frames this way, would only take 23-24 hours to hit the frame on a fast PC. This allows Mew to be obtained. If HaxAras's save is unwanted due to cheating, just use Glitzer popping on InsaneNutter's Used Emerald Cart save to change both ID numbers before getting Mew if you abhor cheats. You can trade the Mew to an English RS with Pandora's box TID/NAME/SID/Gender manipulation to trick the name rater into allowing a legit 10 letter english Name before pal-parking without save flashing. Before I forget, on VBA-rr, audio must be off, and the frame counter script for JP Emerald must run, while in addition, the GBA bios is needed for timing accuracy and legitimacy purposes. The desired frame to jump to is frame 176,562,489, which has this PID. You can refer to my first and second threads for the info on these facts, and you can get more info from HaxAras, Ammako, BlackNight(???), suloko, SciresM (possibly), the_Slayer, trigger_death (for GBA RNG info,), and my theories/observations in the connected posts. r/pokemonrng on reddit may help. My earlier wish for an RNG'd 3GPKM is renewed, due to the info found on reddit which, with the battle video method, significantly makes this more doable on console after using an emulator to store the frame counter in the battle video using that namesake glitch on reddit, which allows you to hit the frame on console after save flashing to a JP emerald. This allows shiny 6iv flawless "event ID" method 1 pokemon to be legitimately caught on console with assistance from a wii with fix94's save dumper tool. With school, I have little chance or explanation to waste 24 hours waiting for mew on rng, so I leave the process of procuring shiny event legends with longer names to those in need. Interestingly enough, the Hadou mew can be made using these 2 id numbers into a fan event, which is nicknamed to 10 letters, because the word "Hadou" is 5 characters or less in Romaji and Japanese. This means a hybrid JP event mew is makeable by RNG users due to GEN 3 oversights. Have fun RNGing!
  12. Hi, I am requesting PKM files that can work online such as Shiny Mew and Lugia or a Mew that can learn the move Defog. Currently right now I'm having trouble trying to Gen a Shiny Lugia and a Shiny Mew to work. I looked into RoC's-PC and found the files but it has been a hassle trying to get them to work online. If you can be so kind to please introduce me to a file that worked for you or a link that might provide me with the gen files that worked. I may know the reason for shiny Mew but people have talk about obtaining it from the island event on Emerald and being able to exploit a shiny Mew to work. If these Pokemon are shiny lock let me know. I appreciate it very much. Note: When I was trying to gen for Shiny Lugia and Shiny Mew, I made sure it was event and not one where I could try to do manually cause I knew about the difficulty of trying to obtain one.
  13. During one of his installments of Iwata Asks, the late president of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, interviewed Tsunekazu Ishihara and Shigeki Morimoto concerning the premier of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Ishihara, the president of The Pokémon Company along with colleague, Shigeki Morimoto of Game Freak sat with Mr. Iwata where the pair spilled the "bits" about Mew's origin. I vaguely remember reading this article in the past. I'm glad I stumbled upon it. However, the segment where they mention Mew reminds me of the exploitation of Pokémon VG and why most of us have come to join the PPorg community. I'll leave the link below if you all would like to read the transcript. http://iwataasks.nintendo.com/interviews/#/ds/pokemon/0/0
  14. I haven't found much information about Celebi Machines, even after searching through the Internet for the last couple months, but this is some of the more notable information that I have gathered: There is a (possibly modified) Super Famicom inside, which has a (also possibly modified) Super Gameboy 2 inserted in it. Inside the SGB2 is a modified Gold version(or Blue for the Mew machines). The SGB2 is connected to a modified Gameboy/Gameboy Color, which in most pictures you can see as the "IN" slot. There is a glitch relating to Pokemon in the party having mail. What I don't know: If the Super Famicom/SGB2 is modified How they are modified. How the Pokemon Gold/GBC is modified How the Celebi is distributed. I have heard that it is automatic, but that might be untrue. These are merely my findings on this topic. I would love to hear everyone else's finds into this, whether it is false or true.
