I've been messing with pkhex and after checking a few of my pokemon, I dont really understand how the residence data is stored. - Most of the pokemon acquired from gts trades have no past location data at all. - Other pokemon have 1/2 past locations but the location they originated from, as seen in the main tab, is not there (for example, I have a giratina which is from Hong Kong but only has Japan,Tokyo as a past location). - Then, there are a few that actually have the location of origin as a past location (rarely). - Most pokemon acquired through wifi trades (not local or gts) had past location data, but there were still inconsistencies like above. If anyone could post some info, I would be grateful!

hello, im new to this forum first question regarding pokedex is the following: imagine i have exchanged a feebas (pokemon ive never caught before in white2) with another trainer.. it arrives to me and starts evolving.. well: do i register both feebas and milotic in the pokedex, or only milotic? (as feebas evolved right after it came) 2nd: location: location if it was obtained in emerald as an egg? day-care couple or which? 3rd: date: do i place the date i obtained the pokemon (ie i exchanged it yesterday so id put 23/06/13) or the date the pokemon was caught in other pkm version (ie i captured it 1 year ago in emerald so id put.. 23/06/12) ty for ur info

Hello all! I have a question for all of you, or maybe just those who look at this thread. I want to make a legit Spiritomb so it looks like I've actually caught it. I actually caught one in-game but want to use some moves that are only accessible end-game and post-game. I'm using Pokegen to make my Spiritomb have those moves right now. So, for the Spiritomb, I basically know how to do everything up to the Encounter Location. I want to make it look like it's the one from the Hallowed Tower. So I have it as met at Route 209, met at level 25, the correct date, but I'm not sure what I should put for the location! :\ There isn't a Hallowed Tower, sadly.

Stupid newbie that I am, I posted this on the wrong forum and got yelled at. I think I'm in the right forum now. *feels like a moron* I've looked around and I can't find the exact answer, so I turn it to you, good forum people. I'm trying to use Pokegen to create a Pokemon caught in Celestial Tower. My question is this: Which Encounter choice do I select if I set the Location to Celestial Tower? Is it Tall Grass, Cave, or Caught in a Building? I want my Pokemon (in this case, a Litwick) to be as legit as possible. And again, to the mods, sorry about the mispost! -
I was half way through distorted world when I realized I forgot my surf/strength Pokemon. Didn't want to walk back so I tried a location code (that is apparently was for DP) and it made my screen black when I loaded the game. So I searched and found this to get back into distorted world: Map 583 X 116 Y 75 Z 65 That got me back into distorted world but made the camera at an angle so I can't see where I'm going. Anyone have a location code to help me out? I don't really care where it leads to, just need to get to a place that works.

The HGSS Editor pokemon editor files only list the "Met in place" from DPP?? For instance, instead of being abel to se pokemon as found from New Bark Town, it's Twinleaf. D: Is there any way around this? Thanks in advance.

The list has been completed. Special thanks to Kaarosu, who translated some yet untranslated names for me. It seems that HG/SS start at 7E. 7D is Rock Peak Runes, a Platinum location. EB and onwards are all Mystery Zone, thus there ends the list. Please note that this is the value the 46h byte should be. The 47h byte has to be 00 if you use any of these locations and the location met should be FarAwayPlace (3002)

Hello: I posted a FAQ at GameFAQs for Pokemon locations (viewable here) that used a spreadsheet posted at the old forum as the source for the data. Unfortunately, the link provided no longer works and I lost my local copy of the spreadsheet in a hard drive crash, so I can't re-host it. Is it still accessible anywhere else?

I used the tweak glitch. I always have been careful: I were reading web pages and watching a lot of videos vefore doing anything. However, it wasn't enough and I screwed my save. My question: Can I use Pokésav and an Action Replay to change the location where I am while or before it loads the game save? I don't want to start again yet, not before having tried everything I can do. -
1)For Pokemon traded between two Gen IV games, what should their Met in Location be? Should they be 'Sinnoh' or wherever the Pokemon was originally caught at? 2)For Pal Parked Pokemon, should their Met in Location be whatever their home region are or 'Pal Park'?
