GitHub Source Code Download Latest Release About This tool aims to make past Mystery Gift event contents back again in all the Pokémon games for Nintendo Switch. Since those games won't allow event injection in the SAV file, this tool creates a forged BCAT package, injectable with homebrews like JKSV. This allows wondercards to be redeemed through the In-Game Mystery Gift Menu. The use of this tool does not involve hacking the game ROM nor hacking the game SAV. Use at your own discretion. N.B: Some BCAT files contain sensible console-specific informations, which you should keep safe. Don't share your BCAT to others! Usage Tutorial The following tutorial refers to the Windows Form app. The .CommandLine app is currently just a simple script that calls the .Core functions and can run on any popular OS. Its usage is similar to the Windows Form app and should be fairly intuitive. Ensure you have the required .NET Desktop Runtime 7.0.x correctly installed Download the latest tool release from GitHub Dump your game's BCAT with JKSV and keep some copies somewhere safe Open the Switch Gift Data Manager tool and select your game of choice Import wondercard files of your choice (by drag & drop or by clicking the `Open Files` button) Eventually edit the wondercard id (WCID) if you have invalid WCs and click `Apply` Click the `Save as BCAT Package` button and select your dumped BCAT folder in the "Source BCAT Path" section. The path must lead to the folder containing the files "directories.meta", "etag.bin", "list.msgpack", "na_required", "passphrase.bin" [N.B: if your dumped BCAT only has the "passphrase.bin" file, it means it was not initialized properly. Connect in-game and use any Mystery Gift feature at least once to initialize the BCAT. Downloading Wild Area News or Poké Portal News works too] Click the "Save" button A folder called "Forged_BCAT_{Game}" should appear next to your dumped BCAT (or in whatever path you selected in "Destination BCAT Path") Restore the forged BCAT with JKSV To redeem the old fashion events, open your game -> Menu -> Mystery Gift -> redeem via Internet When you're done, restore your original BCAT package with JKSV (not doing so may cause sync issues) N.B: BCAT Sync usually occurs between 12:00 AM (UTC) and 01:00 AM (UTC) if there is new BCAT content in the servers. I suggest to not follow this procedure during that timeframe to avoid a desync. If you experience a desync, follow one of these methods to resync: Open JKSV, select BCAT, hover over your game and press X to open the menu, then click `Reset Save Data`. Download the latest BCAT for your game from my bcat_updates repo or from citrusbolt's website and add the missing files to your dumped BCAT, then restore it with JKSV. I need a bit of help. I emulated pokemon shield from my switch bc I like playing on the computer more, and it all went well untill i got to the 7th gym, the ice one. Wen I enter the gym my game crashes and I found no way to fix it. So im asking somebody if you have a pokemon shield (or sword) save that has 5 - 7 gym badges (preferably 7) to send it, the character and the pokemon do not matter. So please if you have one please send it to me.

Hi, I am new to project Pokémon and a little disappointed I hadn't stumbled upon this site prior as I have been a fan since the beginning. Well long story short I lost my save after beating the story mode on Pokémon shield. without any back ups I am forced to start a new game. I would like to not worry about getting banned so if this is a possibility with a VERY Vanilla Switch please tell me now. Otherwise, I would love to be able to start my new journey with all 3 of the starter Pokémon.

I'm trying to work with PKHeX, but the newest version (PKHeX 20.12.30) seems to be incompatible with the auto legality mods and they have no update (that I can find) for this newest release. If someone either has a copy of the PKHeX 20.11.28 (or any past version) or a newest release of the auto legality mods that are compatible with 20.12.30, I would really appreciate it.

I need those 15 Pokemon in my non-hacked Switch Lite's Pokémon Shield to complete the Dex as well as having some G-Max Pokémon that I can't have due to the lack of the Nintendo Online Membership. Hello! After completing Shield with no hacks, I am now playing through Sword. I have played through Sword to the point of receiving the Rotom Bike but not the ability to drive across water. I am hoping to speed up my quest. Is there a way to modify my save file to give my bike that ability to cross water? In the Inventory Editor, I can change between the Rotom Bike (1) and (2). If I change to (2), in game, the icon for the bike has the floats, but I still don't have the ability to cross water. Apparently more is required than simply selecting the Rotom Bike (2). There must be another variable to manipulate to get that feature. Any help? Thanks, Jeffo

It's been a while since I've been here but I'm back for some help. I'm currently trying to get my hands on some legal melmetals, and haven't been able to do so through legit means so far. I'm still not comfortable taking the plunge into hacking my switch as I'm not the only one who uses it so I will need someone to trade me the mons in SwSh. Is it possible to take my save file from my second account on my switch and upload it to my main profile which has an active nintendo switch account? Ideally I would be moving my main and secondary to my pc, then paste the secondary to my main profile. Is this possible? If so, is it as simple as copying my second save file into the first save folder? Hey all. My girlfriend has got me Sword for Christmas, which means I haven't been able to play it since release and wont be playing it for another few weeks yet. In the meantime, I've been getting down and dirty in the world of PKHEX, completing my Pokedex on my USUM save ready for Pokemon Home release. I haven't done any tinkering with my switch though. So, for the time being at least, I won't be able to import pkm files to my Sword game. Is there anyone on here who does edit gen8 saves, willing to trade the limited time Gigantamax pkmn in the new year?
