1. CURRENT VERSION: 1.2 LAST UPDATED: 13th September 2012 Hack for POKÉMON WHITE ONLY This is a manga-based Hack Rom. That means you will not face the regular characters, but the MANGA characters that we all love, created by Hidenori Kusaka. All of the Unova Gym Leaders and Elite four, including the champion are gone. The "Dex Holders", the most poweful trainers in the world have taken over their roles, and you'll face them to prove that YOU deserve to receive the honor of Being called a Dex Holder. SO, IS THIS JUST A SPRITE HACK-ROM? WHATEVER! LATER, POKÉTARD! Hold it right there! This is NOT just a Sprite/Overworld/Mugshot hack! MANY THINGS on it have been edited. Evolutions, Pokémon trainers, Wild Pokémon... You know, the things you would find in a hack rom. Basically, this hack is a little below some of the Great hacks, such as BB, WW, PB, PW or Pokemon White Deluxe. But that is because this is my first hack. I would really like you to tell me what do you think of this hack as well as suggesting ideas to make it grow and to make it better. I would really appreciate that. NOW. THIS IS IMPORTANT. SO, READ IT This hack has two features you MUST KNOW BEFORE POSTING, BECAUSE I WON'T ANSWER THEM. YOU ARE WARNED. 1. For now, this hack is MEANT TO BE PLAYED ON WINTER. This is for those routes in where Pokémon change. Most notably, Route 6 and the Deerling ones. And Twist Mountain. DO NOT FORGET THAT. This should be fixed in a later release. 2. I have created this hack using a SPANISH hack rom, as I'M Spanish. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE GAME IS IN SPANISH. It's FULLY in english. However, I have not tried in an english rom. If someone tries and it works/does not work, please, PM me. I will now post the main features of this Hack Rom. Please, give it a try and tell me what do you think about it. I’d really like to improve this hack, as I am a great fan of both videogame and manga, so please, try and comment. Features: -This is a “Clean” hack-rom. This means there are no changes in the Pokémon stats or the moves they can learn. It is like that because it was meant to keep the feeling of playing an original, well-based Pokémon Adventure. -Many Pokémon now evolve at different levels or in different ways. However, you won’t need to exchange your Pokémon to evolve them. Every single Pokémon can now be obtained by playing normally through the game. Some of them evolve a LOT sooner than before, so you can reach their final stage sooner. I am aware that certain people want their pokémon to learn certain moves before evolving them. When you download my patch, you'll also find a .txt file, in which I have written the New evolution levels or requiriments. -The trainers and Wild Pokémon have been heavily edited. But don’t expect to see normal trainers with 4-6 pokémon. That’s very rare in this hack. However, the Dex Holders are NOT like that. From the second gym, every Leader will have 6 strong Pokémon, being the first gym with just 4 pokémon per Leader. Rare wild Pokémon can be found since the beginning of the adventure. -A “new” story. Purely based on Hidenori Kusaka’s manga, I’ve “created” this story, which is slightly different from the original adventure. Cheren and Bianca are no longer your rivals. Instead, you’ll face Hugh, the rival from B2/W2 and White, who is completely based on the Manga. -Face the strongest trainer, said to be stronger even to the one who is called the master of battle, as he is one of the few who had succesfully beaten this new region champion Here you have a few screenshots. I would have added more, but i think these will give you an idea of what you'll find in my Manga-Rom Before giving you the rom, here is a changelog of what has been done so far to the game: -Changelog: Version 1.0 First Release -ALL text edited. Wild Pokémon and Trainers edited up to Ghetsis battle. No post-game yet, but the champion and the elite four have been fully edited. Cynthia's replacement still on work. -Wild Pokemon Edited. Shaking grass up to Route 3. Surfing and fishing not yet. -Mugshots Edited -Battle Sprites Edited -Overworld fully completed. Some of them need to be fixed. Version 1.2 Release: -More Wild Pokémon in Spring/Autumm/Summer routes -A few trainers are Fixed -More text edit -Blue and Silver overworlds improved -All Gym Leader (Except One) Have been changed (Elder GYM Leader+Sprite Replacements) -Altered Plots Have been added -League Totally Edited (Sprites+Mugshots+Text+Pokémon) Diamond's Mugshot is Strange.... -Surfing and Fishing edited Partly (Not Much,I don't have much time to work on this) -Text Errors Fixed (Grammatical+Text on wrong places) Patch:http://www.mediafire.com/?4axqzal3ehr6e5w

3. Introduction Hi, I'm DarkRisingGirl & This is POKEMON Dark Rising. This is my 2nd attempt to complete a full hack with a new epic story, new characters, and a new region. I've always felt the Pokemon series needed a much stronger impact with story-telling & that's what this hack is all about. Within the hack(look to features for more information) you'll encounter pokemon from all 5 generations, the newest attacks, a brand new deep storyline evolving many characters with actual emotions compelling them to move foward, and last but not least, 2 regions with 16 badges & 1 final boss included. I thank you all for playing, I hope you enjoy! ^.^ The Adventure The Story begins in a dream. A Pokemon suddenly appears and chooses you, a young boy/girl, to save not only it, but the world itself. You awake asking yourself questions. Deciding to ignore the dream for now, you step out into your home town known as Fells in the Core Region. Your best friend, who also had the same dream, stops you at the front door to inform you of an emergency message from the town's Professor. When you encounter the professor, he quickly informs you of the disasters and climate changes occuring all over the Core Region. His workers in panic, he asks you to visit the delivery station and pick up a package for him from Prof.Oak. As you set out on this simple task, you encounter a mysterious girl who appears to know knowledge of the dream you've had about a creature name DARUGIS. After recieving the package, a powerful pokemon is within you and your friend, Pete, sight. Eager to test your early skills against a powerful pokemon, you quickly engage in a battle with it. The pokemon uses it's powerful winds, easily defeating your pokemon and knocking you out in the process. After awakening in your room, you see Pete and your mother patiently waiting for your recovery. You soon begin to realize this is the start of a journey into many mysteries and powerful pokemon you can't wait to challenge. Characters: Screenshots: Fan-Made Titlescreen: Fan Made Box-Art: Features: The game starts off in the Core Region & later, the Omni Region. 386 Pokemon from regions Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, & Unova, all appear in both. There will be 16 badges in all. Each gym leader will have his/her own signature Pokemon that is not obtainable in the game. All Original Characters & Trainers, including some fan favorites from the anime such as: Ash Ketchum Misty Brock Aside from the anime favorites, Yami Yugi from the YUGIOH Series will also have a short apperance in the hack as a Gym Leader. There will be newer generation moves. Some to note are Shadow Claw, Roost, Scald, & plenty more. DW Abilities (Yes that includes the overused fan favorites of Drizzle Poliwag, Drought Vulpix, & Speed Boost Torchic.) All Pokemon will learn some of their best egg moves from gen 3-5 by level up instead of breeding. (Serebii.net Pokedex was used for this information.) Inside every pokemon center, there's a Nurse Joy & Doctor Roy. Doctor Roy will be the one to heal your POKEMON. Nurse Joy will be next to him and challenge you to a double battle along side Doctor Roy. This is helpful for exp points. Support Us! 4. Pokémon Black X | Pokémon White X Base Game: Pokémon Black (U) | Pokémon White (U) Last Updated: Last Year Summary: Pokemon Black and White X are hacks brought to you by me(Dan Firan), cataboy123, Drayano, Oxnite, Pedro250, KazoWAR, Aninymouse, Andibad, Neltazero, SugarBaby, Kaphotics, My best friend Blaxe and of course Nintendo. The main purpose of this hack is to give the players a new experience with improved Pokémon and new battles. How far will you go to get all 649 Pokémon? This hack allows you to catch all 649 known Pokémon. This may not be a good hack at all. But it isn't my job to judge, it's yours. Credits: cataboy123: He helped me to re-start my project by inspiring me. Drayano: He started all of this. Without him this hack wouldn't've seen the light of day. Oxnite: His OxATTACK tool helped me, it might be small, but its worth mentioning. Pedro250: His EVOLUTION EDITOR really helped, it might be small, but its worth mentioning. KazoWAR: .........................*speechless*. He was the one that helped me most. Replacing OW sprites, MUGS, and battle sprites were all possible 'cause of him. Also the Wild editing and Trainer Editing were possible because of him. Aninymouse: VERY inspring person here. Andibad: Andi's tools and his inspiring words really helped me. Nintendo: Of course, without these guys, the game itself wouldn't exist. SugarBaby: He replied to my PM, even though he wouldn't've been able to help with my hack. Kaphotics: And of course, Kaph. Without him the interaction levels would've stayed the way they normally are. And to you my good reader: for playing the hack or reading this thread. Screenshots: Progress: Trainer editing: 99.9% Pokémon modifications: 99.9% Move-set mods: 100% Move mods: 100% Interaction Levels: 100% Items: 100% Text: 25.4% Trade Data: 100% Overall: 90.7% Known bugs: I haven't heard of any bugs yet. 6. Bond697 edit: Any requests for ROMs will be deleted and the user will be banned on subsequent requests. Anyone who links to a ROM will be banned. No exceptions. randomspot555 edit: If all you do in this thread is beg for new updates, or fight with other users, I'm banning you for at least a week. Please stay on topic Any further discussion of "other" patches will be deleted, and possibly be followed with an infraction or ban. If you want to discuss some other site's/org's patch, go there. Welcome to the Black 2 and White 2 translation project thread! I was here briefly in the past for the Black and White project, but I'm back now to see if we can do the same thing for Black 2 and White 2. I've made Github repositories for the main files, and for the story files separately. The 0000 folders will be the ones to translate into English, and the 0001 folders will remain Japanese. The files almost mirror each other, except for the fact the files in 0001 are Kanji. They should be used as a reference for translating the files in 0000. General files repo (menus, attacks, etc.) Story and Overworld repo How to contribute to the project The procedure is the following. If you want to contribute, sign up for the Github, fork the project on github, translate the text in a file, then commit your changes, all commits will be revised and the ones deemed adequate will be pulled into the master branch of the project and used in the patch. To install git on windows you can follow the instructions here: http://kylecordes.com/2008/git-windows-go orhttps://git.wiki.kernel.org/index.ph...InstallMSysGit a recommended git gui tool is git-cola but feel free to use it through command line or any other gui tool. Help for github can be found at http://help.github.com/ or you may ask in our our #projectpokemon irc channel. Translating to languages other than English: If you are interested in translating to another language please fork the original project and name yours something like Pokemon Black White [Language] Translation we will clone those and generate patches, when you tell us that there is enough progress for a patch to be generated. I've made an IRC channel on the Project Pokémon server for the project. Server: irc.projectpokemon.org Channel: #B2W2Translation http://webirc.bitsjoint.net/?channels=projectpokemon%2Cb2w2translation I have IRC mobile, so I'll most likely be in there during acceptable hours. (EST) Once we have a suitable amount of stuff translated, our first patch will be released. When the time comes, I'll explain how to apply the patch. Do not requests any ROMs here. If you do, you'll face the unfortunate consequences. 8. Hello everybody, I'm making a new hack for Pokémon Black and White, it's going te be extremly hard. They're named Pokémon Hard Black and Hard White (if you have an idea for a better name please post it) Screenshots Progress: Bugs: Downloads: I'm still looking for other hackers who wants to join, if you want to join, please post it! Stay tuned for more!
9. randomspot555 edit:Any talk of pirating games, linking to pirated games, bragging about downloading/playing pirated games, or asking how to steal games will result in a temporary, 2 week ban and a 100 point infraction. now back to your regular thread: POKEMON BLACK 2 AND WHITE 2 WILL BE (ROUGHLY TRANSLATED) into ENGLISH once it's out and when the tools are available. If they are available day one I will start right away. Please understand that all menus and such will be almost exactly as a normal USA release, but what trainers say may, or may not be 100%. We were really close on the original Pokemon Black and White version if you were following, so you know what to expect. As you may know Black and White 2 are to be released on June 23rd in Japan and in Autumn in the USA. In other words this will be a very quick project and will require a lot of work in such a little amount of time. You know I LOVE these kinds of challenges and am up for it! Please feel free to submit your tools that might be useful for this project. I'm really hoping it's similar to the original versions of black/white. Stay Tuned, and I will be seeing you on June 23rd.
10. Pokémon UnovaHGSS Rom info: Hack of: Pokémon SoulSilver (USA) (HeartGold will be supported at a later date) Language: English Current Version: Alpha v1.1 (goes up to Ilex Forest) Last Updated: 10th April, 2012 Summary UnovaHGSS is a hack of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver that integrates the new fifth generation Pokémon from Black and White into the game. The new Pokémon are not meant to replace the original 251, rather, my intention is to have them alongside the original Pokémon. Not all Pokémon will be included in this hack – very few third and fourth generation Pokémon appear. To include the Unovian Pokémon, I had to replace existing Pokémon, so most third and fourth gen Pokémon are gone. This is my first actual hack, so I’m still new at this. The battle sprites for the new Pokémon are placeholders, simply taken from Black/White and put into the game until I create original sprites for them. All but a few overworld sprites for the new Pokémon were created through a community endeavor over at DeviantArt; I made a few myself, notably the larger Golurk sprite. Shiny Pokémon are also fully supported, in-battle and overworld. Features: -Every Pokémon from Unova will be obtainable in this game, alongside every first and second generation Pokémon! Some third and fourth generation Pokémon also available! -All Unovian Pokémon will follow you around for the first time! -Slightly increased difficulty – stronger trainers, wild Pokémon, etc. -More features will be added in future versions FAQ: Screenshots: Videos: (Might be loud - complete silence for a few seconds, then music starts) Credits: Tools used: DeviantArt community – for making all the Unova overworld sprites. Link Chaos Rush – for his wonderful endeavor in creating resized sprites. I’m using the Reshiram and Zekrom in the game for now - Link Poryhack – for pointing me in the right direction for hex editing Pokémon icon palettes (whenever I learn how, I will make a program that will make editing the icons and palettes easier than hex editing them). Also thanks to Poryhack and the Project Pokémon community for creating a list of the HGSS File system - Link Stratocaster - for creating a guide on how to change every aspect of a Pokémon. This hack would not have happened without it - Link PokeCommunity – for giving me the desire to hack Pokémon games back in 2007 when I knew even less than I do now MediaFire – for continuing its services through this stupid anti-piracy craze… Bugs: Changelog: Downloads and Documentation: Link to patch and xdelta (used to patch the original rom) List of Changed Pokémon

12. Hack created by Suicune™ Features The 386 ~ Obviously since this is a "386 hack" by some names, you will be able to capture and register each individual Pokémon through some method, whether it's via capturing, events or evolutions all Pokémon are obtainable! Difficulty ~ Since this is a hack is intended to be challenging, the whole difficulty dynamic has been increased with a steep level curve throughout the game. All boss battles including Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Rivals and so forth have been edited to be much more of a threat, using a strong AI coupled with tactical movesets these battles are much more of a challenge which will require you to train your Pokémon and stock up on items! The same applies to all other regular trainers throughout the game who will use specific items which will go against your favor! Roserade ~ Although this may not merit a section to be dedicated too, it's worth pointing out that Shuckle has been replaced by Roserade. This means that Roserade is included in the game with the stats, moves and other characteristics from Diamond & Pearl! Sprites ~ Those old Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald sprites are far outdated by the current standard in Black and White, which is why I have individually replaced almost every existing sprite in-game with the more modern and fresh sprites that are found in the later games. This gives the game a less dated feel and makes the gameplay a little more enjoyable! You can find a couple of images below as examples of these sprite substitutions. Evolutionary Changes ~ As usual I have change several evolutionary methods which make it much easier for to evolve specific Pokémon that were inaccessible. Some methods such as happiness have been replaced with a simple level evolution or an evolution that is triggered by using a specific elemental stone. You can find all the details on this in the Document compiled with the download! Abilities ~ Some Pokémon have had their Abilities tweaked or completely changed, the decisions have been based on both feedback and personal opinions. So you can now have a Magneton that will have Levitate as it's ability! Again, these changes can be found with the Documents. Attack Power & Type Changes ~ There have been a number of attacks that have been changed in terms of Power, PP and/or Accuracy, this applies mainly to those attacks with poor power or accuracy, for example GrassWhistle which originally had an Accuracy of 55 now has an Accuracy of 100. There have also been several type changes to specific Pokémon that I feel would benefit their stats or attacks, for example Charizard is now Fire/Dragon and can learn several Dragon type moves. Event Pokémon ~ Those one-off Pokémon including Starters, Legendaries etc have all been implemented as events scattered around Hoenn. You can battle and capture all of these but be careful, you only get once chance! You can refer to the documents for details on their locations. Miscellaneous Changes ~ There have also been changes to Genders, Movesets, Stats and more, these changes can all be found within the various Documents. Media Check out some snapshots from the game! Hints & Tips On Route 117, Triathlete Maria is re-matchable and will use a Blissey which can provide a tremendous amount of experience when training in preparation for a Gym battle! You can also battle Wild Chansey, Wigglytuff and Clefable on Route 115 who give plenty of Experience Points. Once you've obtained your Fishing Rod from the Fisherman in Dewford Town, try using it on the surrounding earlier Routes and Cities, it will provide you with some useful Water Pokemon early in game rather than waiting to obtain Surf! You can find the locations via the Document too. You can obtain all Six Elemental Stones (Leaf, Water, Thunder, Fire, Sun & Moon) At Lavaridge City! Once You've defeated The Elite Four and the Champion, when you make your way to The Battle Frontier make sure you check out some of the houses. In one of the houses that is East of the Pokémon Centre you will be able to Unofficially rematch the Elite Four Members. Download → Patch & Documents Beta 1.3
13. So, with the discovery of how to edit the palette files of 5th generation Pokémon sprites, the production of Pokémon Multichrome has begun. The completion of this version will eventually lead on to the production of Pokémon Monochrome, which will hopefully be a full edit including new, original Fakémon, but first let's get this one finished. See attached an edit that has already been made to the Feraligatr chain, as an example of what I'm looking for. Changes I plan to make (list subject to change): Type Palette Abilities Movepool Evolution method Egg group Wild encounter location Wild hold item New items/item locations What I would like is help from you guys to use your creative brains on me, to give me suggestions for the following: Type Changes Bear in mind that I'm going to try to keep the proportions as unchanged as possible - I don't want to increase the number of any one type by too much. As a general rule, if you change a Pokémon to Fire-type, choose an already existing Fire-type to have its type changed to something else. I'll update soon with a proportions list showing how many of each type there is, and any ideas for type changes are welcome. Along with the type change, please feel free to suggest new moves for the movepool to match the type, or anything else relevant to the type change, but when you're picking moves, remember to use the logic of the game - don't stick in a move that the Pokémon wouldn't be able to physically use were it in real life. Note that I'm planning on changing the types of all of the starters to made catchable elsewhere, which leads to my second point: Starters I don't intend to make any of the starters obtainable at the start of Multichrome actual starters. I want non-starter, three-chain Pokémon who have had their types changed to Grass, Fire and Water. Throw your ideas for these out there. Try to choose Pokémon whose final evolutions have total base stats of about 525-535, as these are the boundaries for third-evolution starters. The Pokémon don't have to have stats within these boundaries, just as close to them as possible, OR if the Pokémon has lower total stats but has them in strategic places, aka Speed and Attack/Sp. Attack, this is fine too. I can always change the stats if they don't quite fit the boundaries, but I don't want to do too much stat editing in this game, at the moment (although stat changing may happen at some point in the future on this). Evolution Method Alternatives It seems that with an edit like this, it would be totally feasible to trade to and from this edit as long as the other version was the same version of that edit - neither game would know anything was wrong. However, I can understand that not many people would be playing this and it would be a little silly to stop people from getting a Gengar just because nobody else they know is playing Multichrome. So Pokémon that require trading to evolve should have their evolution methods changed. On this note, I'm also open to having new evolutions added on to an already existing chain (aka Ponyta evolving into Keldeo through some method, for example). This might be helpful in allowing all the Pokémon in the national dex to be obtainable in the game, which is something I'd be interested in doing. Complete overhauls Alternatively, if you have one particular Pokémon in mind that you'd like to change, you could also do a complete overhaul on that Pokémon in particular, if you prefer. Include its new type, evolution methods, egg groups (although I don't expect many of these will change), movepools (including level-up, TM and egg) and abilities. Try to pick a Pokémon that will work well with its currently existing stats. You can make as many overhauls as you like! As of yet, this is all I need from you guys, but feel free to make any other suggestions related to the edit that you have in mind. I'm also looking for full-time project partners who are interested in working on this with me. Creative brains in gear! :] Edit: For those interested in helping, I've compiled a small, user-friendly help pack for you to use (attached). It's not totally complete but for now it has all the basic information needed at this stage. If anybody has any questions about anything, email me or add me on Windows Live Messenger using the address shiny.sheimi@live.co.uk. Help Pack is for .zip
14. Awesome title concept made by PEDRO12! About the game: This a hack...Or a modification, if you will, of Pokemon Black & White. Meaning, just your oridnary 649 Pokemon hack. But...To make the game feel a bit different there's a few other things added to keep it feeling fresh. Just read the long, long, long ass post to see what I'm talking about, yeah! Something about Flashcard: I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO GET THEM TO WORK ON FLASHCARD OR ON OTHER STUFF OF THAT NATURE. So, please don't ask me how. It's not that I'm being mean or anything, it's just because I have no idea how those devices work; I just don't use those types of things. I only tested these on my No$gba emulator, and they worked flawlessly on mine. But, not to worry, I'm sure someone will find a way to get this to work on one... The links and Mod info are below: Rom Intel: Pokemon Yin Black & Pokemon Yang White (Version 3.0) Language: US and Europe Current Main Link 1: Pokemon Yin Black/Yang White: Version 3.0 Version Intel: This mod; which is actually Version 3 goes all the way up, till you beat the Pokemon League both times. I didn't edited the post-game Relic Castle part, so there's no point in going there after beating the Pokemon League, since everything in their will basically be the same. Everything else, however, has been changed. Patching Information: Like per usual, these patches are Gui Type...Meaning, you'll need to have Microsoft .Net Framework install in your computer to patch with a xdelta patcher. Here's the link: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=19 Document Information: Included in the download are several documents. Each document contain a certain guide...Here they are. There's a guide for every Pokemon location. Also, included are a guides on all important trainer battles encountered. And a guide for where to find all the new items I placed around Unova. Added to Version 3 are guides to the Pokemon movest and the Pokemon base stats; which all has been increased. Also, a guide on all the Pokemon attacks that has been edit. ...Here's a small log for this version's changes. Pokemon Changes: First, I would like to say if you've played any of my mods from the past, then you'll know what to expect when concerning the prevously gen Pokemon stats and ablities and even some of their attacks...Well, if you think it's still the same on Yin Black and Yang White...Then you're partially right. While some Pokemon have their same ablitites from Neo SoulSilver and Sol Platinum like Seviper, some have new one; like Dodrio with Defiant and Moxie. Obviously, some Pokemon will have their Dream World ablites; just not the starters. No starter Pokemon have their Dream World abilities; with the exception of Blaziken with Speed Boost, but rest have abilities I thought suit them... Also, even tho, at this point I think it's obvious, all starters will have two abilities. I just saying, just don't expect to see a Snivy with Contrary or anything on this mod...Sorry. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, there's also a few 5th gen Pokemon with new secondary type. Like Acceglor being part Dark-Type or Eelekrik and Eelektross both being part Water-Type...That's not including the Type changes from previously mods I made. All those type changes are on there. Move Effect Changes: Some Pokemon attacks have new second effect; like Leaf Tornado now confusing the target instead of reducing their accuracy and Wing Attack having a 20% chance rasing yer Pokes attack stat. Also, there's more, like Hydro Pump harshly lowering the foes Sp. Def. The old secondary effect from Neo Soulsilver are still on here, like Hyper Voice still lowering Sp. Def (It now harshly lowers the Sp. Def) And Slam lowering the Defense stat. They're still all on here. On Version 3, however, even more move has been edited like Meditate boosting both Attack and Sp. Atk or Stone Edge and Power Gem now hitting both Pokemon. Just like how I previously stated, there's more...but these are the only moves I'm only gonna cover. I know I said this already, but I'm gonna say it again...Pokemon can learn TMs/HM that they usually couldn't learn on the regular game; for example: Beartic is now capatible with Earthquake and Xatu is capatible with Energy Ball, there's many more Pokemon in the game they have new compatibility with different TMs/HMs. It's up to you to find which is which. Added on Version 3 are TMs with new attack data. I already mentioned a few of the TM changes, so there's no reason me to repeat myself for the 14th of time, ya think? But I can say, the two new TMs I did mention...That's just touching the surface. There's more new TMs out there, it's just up to you to find them. But I can tell you this, folks. Some of your favorite TMs from the 4th gen Pokemon games; including moves that you could get from BP from the Battle Frontier, can be found inside those TMs on this hack. And trust me folks, it was a BITCH matching each new TMs I made with the Pokemon. Very, VERY time-consuming. Mostly the reason why it took me so long to update Also, before I forget...Cuz, I'm really forgetful...I would like to thank elementking for teaching me how to edited the TM/HM data in the game. This was pretty much the main theme in this hack. Pokemon with increased Moveset: Majority of all Pokemon can learn a max of 22 moves...Well, that with the exception of legendaries or Pokemon in their pre-evolutionary stage. Just so you know, 22 moves is the max attack a Pokemon can learn. Also Pokemon like Burmy, Magikarp, Beldum and even Tynamo can learn a few attacks up, till their evolution. I even gave Pokemon like Combee/Tyrouge their own mini-moveset. Also; tho I think that this is kinda obvious, I gave all stone Pokemon their very own moveset pool...They all learn a max of 22 attacks. So, I guess there's no need for waiting on just the right level to make Pikachu evolve...or Growlithe... Anyways, that pretty much covers all of the Pokemon moveset edit. Don't forget to collect Heart Scales. There's always a Pokemon with a good re-learned move out there. All fully evolved Pokemon have at least one. Field Pokemon: I've edited mostly every Pokemon that can be encountered in the grass, the sea...Well, basically anywhere a Pokemon can be found and captured. Anyways, like I said, mostly every Pokemon, with the exception of for the postgame Relic Castle part, has been changed and edited. There's a written guide about the Wild Pokemon included in the download. It shows the spot for every Pokemon. Now, on Version 3 you receive the Super Rod at the very beginning of the game...from your mom. Tho, I guess I should tell you that NOT every fishing route has been edited...Well, you'll learn more once you open the Wild Pokemon guide. Not to worry, you'll still be able to catch wild starter Pokemon and stuff. They're scattered throughout Unova....Just use the guide to find where they're located. New Starter/Speical Event Pokemon: On Yin Black/ Yang White Version 3...Depending on which version you're playing, will determine which starter Pokemon you'll receive at the beginning. On Yin Black, the starters you'll get to choose are the same as if you'll were playing the regular game. Tepig, Oshawott, and Snivy. And on Yang White, the starters you'll get to choose from are, the lizard trio; Treecko, Totodile, and Charmander Also, on Yang White, the starter your rivals will chose also be different...It won't be any of the starters you had the choice of. Completely different. The battle guide will show which Pokemon they'll use depending on which starter you pick. Speical event Pokemon like Zekrom and Reshiram or the Fighting-Type Trio; once encountered, will be on a higher level...If you've played version 2.5, expect those levels. Items as far the eyeballs can see: New items can be found on the overworld. Or given to you from NPC players. Like for example, instead of getting Flame Charge from the Battle Girl, she'll give you Sludge Wave instead. Here's yet another example: it's now possible to find the Air Ballon item inside a Poke'ball...Yeah, so basically stuff like that. Anyways, getting back on Flame Charge, it can be found on Route 4 (Before beating Burgh, so you can use it on him) There's more, like some gym leaders giving you new TMs. Brycen gives you Ice Beam. Don't worry, old TMs and items are still obtainable, it's just up to you to find it...or whatever. Version Differences: What's in Yin Black? What's in Yang White?: LOL Not that much. But, depending on which version of the mod you're playing, some of the Gym leaders you'll fight will use different Pokemon. Example: If you're playing Yin Black Lenora will use these Pokemon: Chansey, Spinda, Herdier, Linoone, and Clefable! If you're playing Yang White Lenora will use these Pokemon: Vigoroth, Dunsparce, Herdier, Furret, and Cinccino! Which do you think is harder? Also, when battling N and your Rivals, they will use a slightly different team. Once again, this all depending on which version you decided to play. Some of the speical trainer battles; ya know, like Triple or Rotation, will be different. If you encounter a trainer with a rotation battle...chances are on the opposite version, it'll be a triple battle. But...Yeah, I think it was like that anyways... There's only one item change. Instead of getting Moon Stone from Lenora, if you're playing Yang White, she'll give you a Shiny Stone instead. I think you know why, right? Pretty obvious. Smarter Trainers = Tougher Challenges: I tried making trainer battles as hard as humanly made possible, but occasionally they WILL do some retarded shit, just ignore it. ...The computer's AI seems not know how handle certain Pokemon attack...For example they love spamming attack that takes two turns to hit...I had to revamp awhole lotta important battle, cuz I noticed this pattern. Anyways, in this, mod trainer's Pokemon will get as high as to Level 100, which is the level of the Game Freak's dude's highest leveled Pokemon. I also, added a few triple and rotation battles in the mix. Most can be found in the arenas in Numbasa City or on varies Routes. But like always, important battles with trainers will always be harder than usual trainer....Well, this is me hoping anyways. Basically what I mean, your battles against your both Rivals, Gym Battles, N battles, the Elite Four and Ghetsis, which obviously the hardest. Trainers around the ending of the first part of the game and the second part of the game will use Pokemon that will have a preset Moveset...Hopefully it keeps you on yer toes. Cuz right, I'm telling ya, don't expect no Gym Leader rematches or teams based off the manga, cuz there's none here. Dialogue Changes: I also add a few new dialogue here and there throughout the game. You'll mostly find them when getting a new items from NPC. I thought the dialogue I put there was pretty neat, to say the least. I also added, well, basically just for effect, re-named Pokemon attack move. There's only two attacks with new names. Razor Wind becomes Maelstrom; it still work the same as if it was Razor Wind, however. And Flame Burst gets renamed as Spit Fire. Just like Razor Wind, the move effects are exactly the same as before, couldn't think of anything. And just for fun, I've renamed every natures given to a Pokemon. Just think of it pointless dialogue change...Especially considering it's still easy to distinguish a Pokemon nature by looking at thier stats from their Summary. Screenshot Station: Here, I showcase some screenies of my game. These first couple of screenshots shows off the menu dialogue change and a few Pokemon battle, including a triple battle. Also, it shows one of the new Pokemon types combination I made and one of the natures I renamed. It's should be interesting enough. It also should be noted that these first screenshots are from V1-V2.5...But the changes are still on the current version. And now. Are some more recent screenies of the hack. Stuff that was JUST added...With the exception of the Brycen Ice Beam thing...It's been on da game since version 2. Anyways, they're just some of the new stuff added in, mostly pics of the new obtainable items and new TMs and stuff of that nature. If you wanna be spoiled, just click da spoiler button. These are the programs I used to make this mod possible. A Hex editor (Cygnus Free Edition): For the Wild Pokemon, Level up moves, attacks, item change, and stats editing (for editing the TMs learn moves). Twistedfatal's Stat editor program. Kazo's Trainer Editor SCV's PPTXT for the Dialogue Change. No$gba 2.6a Emulator NitroExplorer Kiwi.ds (For remaking the Narc file I edited) Neltazero's Wild Pokemon Editor V5 (I used this and the hex editor) CrystalTile2 (For changing the TM/HM data) A few special thanks are in needed. Without these guys...Probably wouldn't had been a game, huh: Drayano: For telling how to do pretty much everything, when concerning the item change and the moveset editin. It was very easy for me to follow what his instructions. elementking: For teaching me where to find the TM/HM data. Me: Because without putting in the work, I'll probably wouldn't got anything done. Things I plan to do...One of these dayz: Gonna add some vidz of me fighting the Elite Four on this mod. They should be up...Soon as I reach the Pokemon league. LOL Maybe add some more dialouge...Ya know, some new dialogue to the gym leaders or to your rivals...Ya know, like in Neo Soulsilver. Also, add some sorta banner or something...I dunno, the bold dialogue with moving Pokemon sprites...is, and at the sametime, tacky and sweet...My opinion. Things you should probably know: When patching, make sure you patch this mod with an Europe Black or White rom. Also, for some strange reason, it can also patch with a pre-patched rom with all the Anti-Piracy crap gone. The rom I used to make the changes were a pre-patched B/W rom, so that's probably was one of da reason...I dunno. Anyways, don't forget to report any bugs you find to Pokemon Yin Black/Yang White thread. I'm sure there are some things I've overlooked...or just forgot to add. Until my next update...Someday...Cya!

17. During my playthrough of Generation V of the games, I felt that some pokemon especially potentially powerful species are only available after the E4, including ones that involve Fishing or only at Victory Road. These powerful species being late bloomers will not make it in time for the trainer, assuming that he is not using Pokesav, to train them to a point they are capable of taking on the Elite Four and Team Plasma's elite members. To add salt to the wound, the creators of the game actually only allowed fishing to be accessible after the E4. So the player will have to contend with fewer species to choose from within the game! This is only made worse with the fact that White Forest or certain routes are only available after you defeat the E4; Some of those routes contain many potentially powerful species too. This hack will seek to resolve the issues by changing the encounter locations of certain species as if they were an ecology and also gives the player more choices to pick for their next fighter in the team. This hack will not add Pokemon from previous generations unless they are to be encounter in that place only after the Elite 4. Pokemon Black/white is now also more of a hunter's expedition because some good species have be edited to be rare so the player is going to have to go through a few more wild encounters before you will encounter that "potentially powerful" or rare species for your team. 20. Unoriginal name is unoriginal. Anyways, this is just my personal Soul Silver edit which I made to be an enjoyable solo play game for myself. Design goals: To make a hack that doesn't feel too much like a hack. I don't want legendaries thrown at me on route 29 or anything like that. To make Pokemon movepools more optimal for the first playthrough. This means moving egg moves or tutor moves that would generally only be obtained after the first playthrough into the base movepool. To make all 493 Pokemon obtainable without trading. This means editing all trade evolutions. To introduce a level of difficulty harder than the original. Trainers have more custom moves, AI levels are higher in some places, levels scale up faster, and gym leaders and the Team Rocket executives should feel like boss fights. Starter Pokemon evolve later than they did, but they also learn better coverage moves than before. To be more friendly towards monotype teams by varying Pokemon available much more. To buff some of the less usable Pokemon. This needs to be done to make up for the increased difficulty, otherwise some total losers like Ledian would go from "pretty bad" to "would be a liability to have on any team." To add more depth to some aspects of the game, like having more trainers able to use items on their Pokemon (either healing items, buff items like X-Attack, or status healing items) or having more Pokemon that you fight hold items that make the battles more interesting. More Pokemon will be found with items in the wild, and more total types of Pokemon will be found in each route. To still feel like we're in Johto. Though non-Johto Pokemon appear in basically every route, they are more uncommon than the Kanto and Johto generation Pokemon. To make some moves, such as OHKO moves or Hyper Beam type moves into more useful and varied moves. For example, Sheer Cold is an Ice-type version of the Overheat/Draco Meteor/Leaf Storm archetype. Blast Burn, Frenzy Plant, and Hydro Cannon are now 100 base power 100 accuracy moves, giving starter Pokemon clear cut upgrades from your usual Flamethrower, Surf, and Energy Ball without losing accuracy. Evolution Changes! New Alternate Abilities! Move Changes! - See https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AqpA1wuA0-w6dDUtNzVNOWtfZVhSVjBXdm1tMTA2WVE&hl=en&authkey=CLDdv84P Current Version: Beta v10 Edited Up To: Olivine & Cianwood city - Incl. Chuck and Jasmine Tested on: SuperCard DS Two, DeSmuME v0.9.6, and No$gba 2.6 (PLEASE SEE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW TO MAKE IT WORK ON NO$GBA) Tools used: PPRE(editing), xDelta GUI(patch creation), NitroExplorer(exchanging files), and Attack Editor DP(editing of move damage/typing/effects), thenewpoketext (text editing), and a plain old hex editor! (Misc. move editing that is not supported by attack editor DP, along with some other things) The download includes a .PATCH patch and xDelta/xDelta GUI to patch with. It's the only type of patch I can offer at this time, but it's easy to use. ALL PATCHES INCLUDE THE AP PATCH. Because of this, do not use this patch on a ROM that is already AP patched as this may cause issues. If you are playing on the computer, I strongly recommend DeSmuME as an emulator. If you patched with a previous version, make sure you patch a new, clean ROM with the new version. Don't patch with (example) 6b and then patch the same ROM with 7b. No$gba users: Fixes for some problems. Changelog Patch 10b +Chuck and Jasmine now have upgraded teams! +Trainers in routes 40 and 41 have had some adjustments. +Level up move glitches with certain +From now on, all patches released will include AP. Do not patch from a ROM that is already AP-patched, please use your clean dump. KNOWN BUGS - CURRENT AS OF 5/17 -thanks to all who report bugs and glitches, feel free to PM me or post any problems encountered along with exactly where it happened and what is needed to reproduce the bug- + Level 0 / 000 Pokemon have been sighted while fishing. These should not harm your game save if you see one and they seem to be rare. +Bounce can cause graphical glitches when used as the last Pokemon alive or the only Pokemon in the party. This is due to the animation not meshing well with the new effect of Bounce. This glitch is strictly graphical and even if the Pokemon "disappears" it is still attackable and can still use moves normally. +Some level up movesets were corrupted in patch 9b, but any version past that will have the issue fixed. 23. **Note from SCV**: Talking in portuguese is permitted here as the thread is about translating BW to portuguese.
24. POKEMON BLACK AND WHITE 2 WILL BE (ROUGHLY TRANSLATED) into ENGLISH once it's out and when the tools are available. If they are available day one I will start right away. Please understand that all menus and such will be almost exactly as a normal USA release, but what trainers say may, or may not be 100%. We were really close on the original Pokemon Black and White version if you were following, so you know what to expect. POKEMON BLACK/WHITE STORY TRANSLATION!!! YAY!!! So. The project is officially started. I have my tools. I have my support, and more importantly I have my passion. I am currently working hard on translating the entire story of Pokemon/Black and white. It's going to be tough, but we've made some serious progress. Current Progress: Catching up on whats been done, have the entire EVENT/STORY Scripts, doesn't contain random events though. Report any major bugs if found so we can fix them. These are effective after 10/21/10 Releases: Will be included on the official thread from now on Betas/Bug Finding: NONE Current Activity: Idle (Going to work on trying to get a GIT up to make life easier)
25. Alright guys last thread got locked due to piracy getting out of hand, I ask that you please read the rules. Do not ASK about downloading ROMS, do not SAY you downloaded a ROM, do not give advice on how to locate ROMs. Otherwise you'll be banned. Rules in a Nutshell Don't need to remake an intro to this as you should know what it is. So I'll just copy and paste what we had in the last thread. Contributing to this Project For this project we have decided to set up a git repository to make contributions easier. The link to the repository is here: http://github.com/projectpokemon/Pokemon-Black-White-Translation-Files. The procedure is the following. If you want to contribute, fork the project on github, translate the text in a file, then commit your changes, all commits will be revised and the ones deemed adequate will be pulled into the master branch of the project and used in the patch. Translating to languages other than English: Spanish: Spanish Thread Italian: Italian Thread French: French Thread Portuguese: Portuguese Thread The use of the native language to those threads is allowed but restricted to those threads. IF you don't see your language thread here and want them up, PM me. Thanks. Update: Release V3 is Out Now V3 Changelog: v2 Changelog There are other random updates but these are the only ones I got around to actually writing down.
