Hi all, I am a IT student and I am currently trying to reverse engineer the inner working of the Gen IV Distribution ROM. I already figured out the basics but... Right now, I am facing an issue with the way data is encrypted. I already know of tools such as WC4PCD or PokeGen, PokeHex... but I am trying to understand and create my own program to decrypt and reencrypt all by myself. So I am asking if any one here as any leads or straight up know what encryption algorithm is used. I obviously did some research but no luck yet. (Chat GPT told me to XOR the file but idk what key to use). Thanks in advance, and my apologies if I made any english mistake

As you can see the order of my WCs are all jumbled up since I started injecting them and I am hoping there is a way to reorder them.

Apologies if this has been answered in the past, but how do I edit my save data so that it shows I received a mystery gift at a certain date? I am aware that I can trigger mystery gift events without it being recorded like that, but I would like it to be recorded too. I have the wonder records tool in PkHex, but I require WRB8 files which I cannot find anywhere.

Hello.One of the people I know claimed that he directly got movie genesect gen5 event in english gen 5 catridge. I know gen6~gen8 jpn event can exist with other language.But was shiny genesect able to be distributed at eng catridge?

I plan to hack my 3s within the next month or so. One of my favorite event pokemon in the Red Genesect, but there was never an american distibution for it. What will happen if I use the japanese wonder card to try and add it to an american game through PKHeX? For that matter, what about the Bolt Strike/Blue Flare Victini or the V-Create Rayquaza? Sorry if this is a super obvious question, I genuinely have no idea how this stuff works lmao

Hey guys! I'm familiar to wondercard editing with PkHex, and I tried to get myself an Eon Ticket on my Alpha Sapphire game. However, i'm getting the same problem some people already had, the old "get ticket but doesn't trigger event" stuff. I've done my research on how to solve this problem, but couldn't do it so far. At first I tried to use the WC6 on the English Event Gallery section, but then I just went and tried everything I found on the internet (different WC6, old PkHex versions, disabling flags, etc.), but with no success. I've also noticed that my "Latios Defeated" flag was checked before even editing anything. Tried to disable it, but still, with no effect. My save file is attached, and so is the WC6 used. I also tried to use a old PkHex version (unknown version, found at an old post with the same problem), but I'm using the PkHex 190515 at the moment. I don't know if it matters, but i'm using a Homebrew 3DS XL to Export/Import the saves on the cartridge through JKSM (Homebrew menu version, not the CIA one), but i'm also testing on Citra. I wanted to find an answer regarding wonder cards and event pokemon from previous generations being genned into SuMo. Will i need to inject the wondercard into this save if it is from a previous game in pkhex? Specifically I dragged a shiny sludge wave gengar into pkhex without importing the wondercard and it was registered as legal and i was able to use it online without an issue, Just wanted to make sure what i did is all right in the case that i would import other event pokemon in the future, thanks!

This is a suggestion for a new feature that you could add into the Mystery Gift Database Search (Of course, only if you want to) I was wondering if you think it would be possible to add in a "Region" search into the Mystery Gift Database? So, for example, a person could search for only Mystery Gifts released in North America, or EU, or Japan, etc. For all of the different regions where they have released mystery gifts. This would be incredibly helpful if you decide to do it. I would be very grateful, but of couse if you dont, thats totally fine Thanks!

I'm trying to import wc6 files to my sav but when I open the wondercard injection in PKHex, it only shows what pokemon it contains, but doesn't give me the option to receive it with the [<] button. http://i.imgur.com/W8YM9QG.jpg What I'm doing wrong? When I drag the wc6 to the main window of PKHeX, the pokémon is loaded correctly. So I'm guessing the problem is not on the wc6 files. I've searched for the problem here, but I guess I couldn't find someone with the same problem. I'm new to the whole sav editing thing. Hey guys, I just wanted to know if you have a English game can you import a Japanese only event Wc6 to your game or will this cause any problems?

I have a problem with wondercards on platinum pokesav whenever i download a WC and load it on pokesav it changes the accent e in pokemon to an l, how do I fix it?

I'm not perfect, mistakes can exist in the program still. This program can be used for Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 for the following tasks: Generating Action Replay codes to create Pokemon, modify the Pokedex, and add Mystery Gift data, including exporting to an XML file that can be dragged to the Action Replay code manager Loading and saving of save files. Pokemon data and Pokedex data can be fully modified. Loading and saving of party and PC .pkm files (136, 220, and 236 byte, encrypted and unencrypted) Adding Wonder Cards to save files Conversion of Action Replay codes into Pokemon information (This is limited.) Finding a PID to match IVs, nature, gender, ability, shininess, and hidden power type/power - with variable IVs Recalculating save file checksums Editing items Editing C-Gear background images Most of what you need to know to use the program is self-explanatory. However, there are now tooltips explaining just about everything in it. There are some things that aren't quite covered though: Windows XP or newer is required. (However, it does run without issues on "emulated" Windows programs for Mac OS and Linux.) (This is only applicable to generation 4 games, and maybe not even HG/SS.) Using codes for party Pokemon can sometimes cause bad eggs upon activating the code. You can just activate it again and it should fix the problem. (You can check the summary after activating each time to see if it's fixed, or just close the party display and re-open it.) I don't think there's any way around this. As far as I know, this has no negative effect on the game when you save, as long as you don't save it with a bad egg. (I'm not even sure if saving with a bad egg would be harmful, but there's no reason to do so.) Pokemon can be dragged around amongst party/box slots. .pkm files can be dragged into and from party/box slots. You can associate compatible files (save files, .pkm files, etc) with PokeGen to be able to easily load them from Explorer windows. Holding alt and clicking a Pokemon icon will display that Pokemon's information instead of requiring you to right click and "View data". Holding shift + alt and clicking a Pokemon icon will set the slot's data with the tab's data. Obviously this is equivalent to right clicking and selecting "Set". If you don't want to receive updates to certain languages, delete the corresponding language file. If you can't figure out how to do something, read the tooltips. For those that don't know, tooltips are an informative message that gets displayed when you stop your mouse pointer over a control (editbox, dropdown box, button, etc) for a short period of time. There's also the questions and answers thread that's being updated occasionally. Note the date on posts in this thread if you're reading through it. There were many changes to the program since its initial release, including a rename, removal of generation 3 support, and other major redesigns. Also, this thread used to be the only way to post feedback/bugs for the program, prior to a forum section being made. That's why it has tons of posts when it's a locked thread.

I have an idea for Wi-fi Mystery gift distribution. but it there a way to Make a DS app that Sends Wondercards(official and unofficial) to Select People(by Using their FC's) Basicaly A .Nds File Loaded with The Wonder Card Files. PC app would inject/take out WC from DS app. From DS Boot up app. Select WC to distribute Then on the top screen it will show how many people downloaded it.(FC's Needed) On PC Add WC (3 at a time) Remove WC Add Friend-codes (dont know Limit) Remove Friend Codes Summary Wifi WC distributor like nintendo's but can select who gets it. if you can undersstand that can you tell me if its possible/who can help make it.(i dont know any coding)

I can't receive a wonder card I made on pokesav for fashion accessory 1. In my game I already have max of every fashion accessory but I don't have the comet accessory which is what I'm trying to get. Anyway the guy who brings the gifts in the poke market says that I need to make room for decoration goods. How do I do that? And I can't delete the wondermail. This has been shared to my diamond game which I cant use pokesav on. Also it happened on my platinum game which was for fashion accessory 50 and I only have a few accessories on that game. I was wondering if anyone could make me codes for 100% legit ALAMOS Darkrai, TRU Shaymin, 10 ANIV Celebi, and WISHMKR Jirachi for Pokemon Pearl Version:). This means that everything must look 100% legit. I have viewed other codes but for some reason the classic ribbon always has the text "A ribbon obtained at Mystery Event" instead of the text "A ribbon that proclaims love for Pokemon" for Darkrai and Shaymin. I also can't seem to find a working legitimate Celebi and Jirachi code anywhere I look. I would also really appreciate it if the Secret ID, ID Number, the Original Trainer, Place where met and all the Pokemon's coding's are in place. I would also like for the Pokemons to look untouched. If making the Wondercard codes instead of the Pokemon itself would be easier than that would be fine too. So for Darkrai, Shaymin, Celebi, and Jirachi: -Any nature; anything that would make it LOOK and BE 100% legit not SEEMINGLY legit! Thanks to whoever can get me or make me the code(s) I need. Would really appreciate it! Sorry for hassle and fuss. P.S. If you want me to do the research on how the Pokemons are supposed to be like to be 100%, I'll be glad to look everything up on Google:).

If a Pokemon is obtained by a hacked wondercard but legitimatly soft resetted for, would the trash bytes show up as invalid?
