I was wondering if it is possible to edit a ROM so that it can connect to other Servers, I mean if i had a US Platinum ROM, Is it possible so that it can Connect to the (J) (K) (E) (F) servers and so on, Just to make it handier for events and such.

I can't for the life of me get a modified rebuild of this game to boot without the game patches. Unlike ORAS, I believe a bit more then just game text is overwritten by the game patches. I even at one point attmpted to instead build a custom patch. But the furthest I got with that is making one that works in making the home menu think it's up to date (so I don't see the update message when I go to start the game), but no changes were actually applied to the rom. (I am also at attempting to "merge" the game patches into the rom) Had I gotten that to work, I would skip trying to rebuild this game. I have not had issues with Omega Ruby after using ExInjector. But at one point the program actually had the opposite effect with Pokemon X. Using it breaks the rom. Odd. Anyways, anyone here willing to share the RSF file they currently use to build Pokemon X and the makerom commands? I've already tried the RSF file from Asia81's tutorial pack. So no, that's not the one I'm looking for. I'm looking for alternative RSF files. If someone has figured out how to get custom game patches to work, I"m open ears on that one too. I would love to go that route instead as it's faster to build new versions of a custom patch then spend a good 20 minutes every time I need to build the CCI file again.

Hello all, Each overworld in a/1/2/5 (for BW) has a certain script, e.g.: 03 00 0C 00 0A 00 01 00 00 00 B9 0B 02 00 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 05 00 05 00 F6 02 79 02 00 00 00 00 ...which determines the overworld sprite, movement, range of sight, map location, etc. Now, for standard Trainer Battles with eyesight, their scripts could be, for example B9 0B (as in the above example). Where can I find these scripts? And, in particular, can I use the base of a Double Battle trainer script to get the ''at least two Pokémon in party-check'' script for other Trainers? This is obviously something I could find somewhere on this forum but I swear that I have searched for more than half an hour. Excuse my search skills. Thank you very much!

Is it possible to remove/make transparent the HUD elements in game via ROM editing? I'm looking specifically at trying to remove the messages that show what move is being made or in a wifi battle, the floating bubbles between turns that show your statistics. Basically I want to record the battle from the top screen of a DS cleanly so that there's nothing impeding the view of the battle at all through HUD elements. Is this at all possible?

Hey guys! :3 My friend and I decided to make a Pokemon hacked rom and I decided I want to make it pretty much from scratch using the pokemon fire red game as a base. I'm creating about 117 brand new Pokemon and I would like to get some good sprite-makers to help out in creating the front, back, and icon sprites for all of those Pokemon. BTW, it's a game about Eevee and its eeveelutions. That's what the new 117 Pokemon will be. If anyone is interested in helping me out, or knows of any good sprite-makers that are willing to help, it would be very much appreciated! Thank you :3

I'm new to hacking so I still don't understand it all that well. I made a .c file to possibly hack my 3ds but don't know how to change it into a .bin file for my 3ds. Could you tell me how to do that? Would I have to make my own loadcode site if i did this?

I was making edits to my Pokemon Alpha Sapphire game, and this happened once I started playing it: [video=youtube;tj-CxqFBBQM] All I did was mess around in Pk3DS, just randomizing wild pokemon, trainers, moves, move types and editing overworld textures in Ohana3DS. I also changed a bit of Game Text but the 1.2 update overwrites those. Somehow it changed the Rival battle to think I was versing the champion (it didn't even use the Rival music, but the Champion Music) and it had Steven as the model/opening picture, thus swapping the Rival battle event with another. What did I do that made this glitch happen? I don't know if I can replicate it. EDIT: Alright, nevermind. After looking again at the trainer files, I realised I ticked everything to randomize (including a massive level boost) and it was just by coincidence that May had the Champion class. It seems that if you give any trainer a Champion class it gives the trainer a special opening/3D model. Time to revert changes >.<

Hello! I was working in a hackrom of Pokemon X and Pokemon Omega Ruby but I can't continue for the problem with the texts. I followed this tutorial to decrypt/recompile the ROM http://www.pokemontrash.com/jeux-pokemon/decrypter-compiler-rom-3ds.php But the problem arrive with the TEXTS, if I install the Update 1.2 (OR) or 1.3(X) the game doesn't show the edited texts because the update replaces them. But if I don't install the updates... the games doesn't works, start and it loops at 3DS logo at the begginig. Anyone knows how to solve this problem? Maybe make them working without updates? Thanks for all -

I played this game and I found it was easy but did what I could till it just got boring. I then found a hard modded Omega ruby but it crashes all the time making it unplayable. So I came up with the idea to make one since I found this site and all. (way over my head) I then started for the last 3 hours or so trying to get all thats needed to get the GARC from my game ultimately that failed since my SD card has some odd issues and as a result can't hold anything more then 1.7gb and thats not enough for ruby. So I was wondering if you guys can help me figure out this problem 1. if anyone has a patch that can mix things up abit and make this interesting like how x and y were with its massive mixed gen wild pokemon and such. 2. if this isn't against the rules give me the GARC... Once again I looked at the rules and I am not sure if its breaking the rules but if it is I am sorry and I won't bring it up again. 3. Any way to unpack the 3ds file on pc without 3ds as I can't get the space on my sd card. Thanks for reading -
I edited a sprite B2W2 with BWOE and open the rom with DeSmuME me out the following: "The ROM header is invalid. The device size has been increased to allow for the provided file size."

Hi, I just wanted to swap Serena with May for in battles. But I have no idea where those graphics files are located. I have the rom fully decrpyted of course. -
So I'm coming along with my Spirit Silver hack pretty nicely and I have implemented a lot of new content, as well as, many new trainer battles. One such being able to fight a Battle Frontier Brain early on. He blocks the gym from being used and you must battle him before entering as a test (per se). Now I have scripted this whole scenario. He will walk away from the gym and not block your path however when you exit the map and go back in he reappears. Now I know this issue can be solved by using Flags but I am not quite sure how to utilize Flags in this instance. PPRE gets rid of my flag when I add it onto the script. (I would go to another map on PPRE to edit, then come back and it will have been removed). So my question is, How do you use Flags in PPRE correctly for Pokemon Soul Silver? This is my script. Ey' Project Pokemon. I've got a bit of a question. How do I change the Music/OST of Pokemon HGSS? I've figured out how to hack most of the game and while that is a monumental achievement it in itself, I can't figure out how to change the music found in Pokemon HGSS. I just need someone to point me in a general direction because a simple Google or Forum search does not yield any results. Whether it be a general pointer or an explanation I'd be grateful either way! Thanks!
