  1. Hey, I'm new to hacking OR/AS so please forgive me if I overlooked the obvious here. What I'm hoping to do is change the effect (or at least the textures of the effects) for the Elite 4 Intros, more specifically I want to make Phoebe's less floral. (Either by making the scene basically invisible, replacing the scene with another member's (Most likely Sidney's) or just changing the texture of the floral pattern) I've checked the garcs a/0/3/3 (Battle fade intros) and a/2/1/4 (Elite Four descriptor UI) and didn't seem to find exactly what it was I was looking for. If anyone can help me with this, it'd be appreciated. Neither garcs seemed to have what I needed, at most I was able to edit the background and what not of the scene, but the floral effect still remains. Thank you for your time.

  3. Hi everyone, Is it possible to put the Repel functionality from Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 in Pokémon Black & White? By Repel functionality, I mean the option where after 1 Repel usage you are being asked to use another immediately without selecting it from the Bag.   4. I want to after the battle, Drayden teaches Draco Meteor. I already download SDSME, but there isn't names for the scripts, just numbers, and I THINK that there isn't a way to know that which one is from. So, I would like to someone hack it and make a patch or simply telling me what is the right script and what to change. Also, if possible, I would like to change Drayden's dialog for it too. Sorry for bad english.
  5. Hi there! :smile: I just started hacking Pokémon Fire Red and I figured out a lot of stuff on my own. But there's something I can't figure out.. I changed the protagonist to a completly new sprite and it works fine, but everytime I use "Fly", he turns back to his old self during the flying sequence. Please tell me how to change that, I just can't find the right sprites to edit... :frown:

Hey, guys I downloaded the source code for Dabonstew's Universal Pokémon Randomizer and I am trying to step through it in order to figure out how to get the randomizer to randomize the types of moves (preferably before assigning moves, so the type matching functions can be used.) Has anyone looked at adding this functionality into the randomizer? I don't need a GUI option; I can just let the randomizer always randomize move types, if need be. If anyone has any guidance on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
  9. I'm using pk3ds to randomize the game. Recently I wanted to try to make every pokemon mega evolve. But when I tried to make it happen. (My method of useing a rare candy as the stone for every pokemon set on method 3) . Does anyone know how to enable and or change mega evolutions in pokemon x and y. Thanks.
  10. Hi everyone, I would very much like to add a Trainer which has the Sawsbuck Winter Forme ONLY. In other words, the Forme of the Sawsbuck should be set and unaffected by the current season. I know that KazoWAR's Black & White Trainer Editor has a Forme selector. However, it doesn't seem to work for me. I see that there is a specific byte for Formes, such that 00 should be Spring Forme, 01 should be Summer Forme, etc. But this apparently doesn't work for Trainers because the Sawsbuck Forme will always match the current season. If someone could help me out with this one, that would be great! Thanks!

  14. I have edited Pokemon alpha sapphire many times in the last 4 months and when I started to hack my newly extracted contents of Pokemon Y I saw things were off. I noticed my exeFS settings were blacked out as if they were disabled (they were disabled). As well as this error: Does anyone know what I can do to work this out as I have tried a few different ways to extract the files and even tried different clean backups of the game but all result in this.

  16. I'm running Gateway 3DS version 3.3 with a rebuilt, randomized Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Pokemon X roms. My system is 9.2.0-20U SysNAND and it is an old 3DS. I randomized wild Pokemon and Trainers on both roms using Kaphotics pk3ds and then rebuilt them following all the steps in Asia81's tutorial. Both roms had all update patches removed before they were decrypted. The problem is that whenever I try to load the roms, I get either a blank screen and the 3DS freezes, or the Nintendo Logo loads and then the screen goes black and a notice appears telling me to contact Nintendo Support and to turn off the power. By checking around in the forums, I gathered that it could be because the roms were badly rebuilt but I'm not sure how to fix that. Any help would be much appreciated. The roms were rebuilt using the pre-built romfs, exefs, and exheader generated when they were decrypted. This gives the notice telling me to contact Nintendo support. I also tried rebuilding them again with 3DS builder using the modified romfs and exe files created after using pk3ds but this gives me a blank screen and the 3DS freezes. I asked on gbatemp and the answer was that I needed to use patched roms to build the files or else they would freeze. It worked!

  18. Hey guys I've got a question, as I absolutely hate catching roaming legendaries I wanted to ask if it is possible to modify a ROM file to make a roaming Pokemon stay in one specific place? If not, could it be achieved through RAM hacking? The game I'm asking this for in particular is HeartGold but it would be great if it could be achieved in any generation of course ^^ I know of a Action Replay code for FR/LG and Emerald which actually makes this possible but it only works for the German versions of the games (haven't tried porting the codes to the US ROM since I'm German anyway). This is the code for the German Emerald version which fixates Lati@s on Route 118: E8F3885D 719FA37D Maybe someone could look into that code since I'm not really familiar with GBA code types, NDS would be easier to understand for me. I'd be really glad if somebody could enlighten me on that. I know the basics of unpacking and repacking a DS ROM however I have never done any sort of ROM hacks so I wouldn't know where to start. EDIT3: So I played around with PPRE a bit and I found the scripts which trigger Raikou, Entei and Latias to roam. The scripts call a function which uses the command "ActSwarmPoke x" (x=3 for Latias, x=1 or 2 for Raikou/Entei, idk which one is which). Is there some way for me to edit what these ActSwarmPoke commands do? Or can I let the game automatically trigger a fight with them right away? (Which would be pretty problematic when two roamers are triggered at the same time as it is with Raikou and Entei, I guess). EDIT4: Sorry for all these edits but as I experiment more and more I'm coming closer to my goal. I've now set up a wild battle with Latias if I talk to a certain NPC. That battle works completely fine. However, is there a way for me to make the game check if the legitimate roaming Latias has been activated so that it only appears after talking to Steven in front of the fanclub in Vermillion. Also, how can I then deactivate Latias? I mean of course I have to set a specific flag but how can I determine which one it is? This is all an entirely new territory for me but I'd really appreciate it if you guys could give me some directions.

  21. Everytime I open up A-Trainer, it just comes up as Trojan and says deleted. I know for a fact that A-Trainer is not trojan as I used it a few years back. Can anyone help?
  22. Is is possible to add forms where a Pokémon either has several forms already, or has none? I have some edited models that I'd like to show up in the Pokédex as purely cosmetic forms. The first two examples have multiple forms already - Purple Flower Floette, and a Camouflage Pattern Vivillon. The other is a little more complex (I presume) - several coloured Greninjas based on real tropical frogs. I would like to be able to flick through the Pokédex and see all the named forms. I know actually creating Pokémon beyond the 721 isn't possible, but what about forms? I haven't seen anyone do it yet, but I don't know if that's because it isn't possible or because nobody cares.

  24. Hello, I've started an italian hack that is a sort of italian version of Pokémon Green on italian Pokémon Blue rom, it's already done, but I wanted to add an extra feature. In the italian versions of Red and Blue the developers for avoid the appears of MissingN°. have changed the shove near Cinnabar Gym, I've fixed it, but however also if I talk with the OLDMAN the game can read only the end of my name, at the end of the trainer name there is a 50 value, the italian version read that value like a pokémon level (level 80 then) and after there are the 00 values of the blank space, then can appear only 'M. If I hack the savegame and I add other values after the 50 value (Like B8) can appear the Ghost MissingN°., the problem is that the italian version can read only the 50 value for the level and I don't know why, in the US version if my name is EMA, due to the M on my name, can appear a level 140 Golduck. There is a way to replace this algorithm also for the italian Blue version? Can you help me please?
