  1. Hello friends, I am new to PKHeX so I will try to keep it short and simple but forgive me if I go into too much detail. I come here after trying everything for hours. I played Pokemon Emerald on VBA using a normal ROM and completed a Living Dex on it. Recently I got a new PC so I downloaded Citra and completed Pokemon X and Alpha Sapphire on it. So I decided to get a shiny charm for shiny hunting. In order to complete the National Dex, I decided to legitimately own every single pokemon in it. I couldn't trade because of emulator, so I decided to legally catch every Pokemon. I caught every single Pokemon that can be caught in Alpha Sapphire. Being new to PKHeX I had no clue how to use it and not a lot of "Simple" guides I could find that were solely for transfering Pokemon. Most of the guides were for making a new pokemon and all that cheating stuff. I opened two windows of PKHeX and in one of them, loaded my Emerald .sav file. In the other one, I loaded my Pokemon X save file (.main). I manually dragged every single pokemon from one window to the other, one tile at a time. Finally I had Boxes 1-6 filled with my Original Pokemon from Pokemon X. Boxes 7-12ish had my Pokemon transfered from Emerald by simple drag and drop. I did the same for Alpha Sapphire. Basically I had all the Pokemon I LEGALLY CAUGHT in each game, now in one game. Here's where the problem began: When I Open Pokemon X's pokedex, I saw that my Grovyle was oddly colored. I opened its summary to see that its Shiny sprite is being displayed and there is no option to display his normal sprite. This was weird because the game showed I had caught "001" normal forms and "000" shiny forms which is correct. So a lot of Pokemon in my National Dex turned out to be appearing shiny when I havent seen their shiny form ever in any game or obtained them. Keep in mind all of the Pokemon in their respective form were caught legitimately using normal catching methods. No cheats no 3rd party programs involved. PKHeX was ONLY used to transfer over 150 Pokemon to one single game. Can anyone please help why this is happening and how I can fix this? Please note the Pokemon appear normal in boxes and everywhere else. Just in National Dex, they appear Shiny and no option to show their normal sprite. I actually have an ACTUAL shiny caught (legal as well). I opened it to check and apparently that one has normal sprite and shiny sprite and I can choose to display either. Would be very glad if you could help me out here. I dont have a lot of info about the program. I am willing to provide any info or files that you may require, from Save game files to Screenshots. In the images attached below, you can see the Grovyle as an example (SO many pokemon are affected) and in other image you can see the ACTUAL Shiny Makuhita I have, and the fact that I can view his normal Skin when I cant do the same with Grovyle. I'll try to reply as fast as possible so please don't give up on the topic if I dont reply in time, ty! TLDR: Legitimately caught pokemon when transfered to Pokemon X using drag and drop of PKHeX, appear shiny in dex without normal sprite available.

  3. I've recently started a hunt for shiny Torchic in ORAS via soft reseting. Usually I'm really impatient and give up on hunts like these so i thought that if I had someone to compete with me in a shiny race, I'll be more motivated to keep going. Is anyone willing to join me on the hunt for a shiny hoenn starter? Whoever wins the race.........gets...........a shiny, of course. If I don't respond instantly, dont worry, ill get back to you.

You've come to the right place! Introducing... The Global Terminal! Basically, instead of me having to engage in a trade with you to receive the Pokemon, in which we both have to be on at the same time, I can now send you Pokemon, ANYTIME! (And I don't have to be on!) Before you embark on your journey into The Global Terminal, PLEASE, PLEASE, and for the third time, PLEASE, read all the information data to avoid any mistakes or errors. ~How to Connect~ The step by step guide of success! ^^ YouTube Guide ^^ Here's where things get a little technical. To be able to connect to me, you need to:- 1. Have connected to the in-game Global Trade Station before (just for the knowledge of how to use it). 2. Make sure you have a working connection, then visit your game's title menu (the one with the continue button). 3. Now click “Nintendo WFC Settings”, and then the nice blue button on the left. 4. Then, click “Ready” on the connection you use to connect to the internet from your DS normally. 5. This brings up the “Edit Settings” page for that connection. Scroll down, and change “Auto-obtain DNS” to “No”. 6. Your Primary DNS and Secondary DNS are now editable. Edit them to the values shown below (they're the same). 7. Do a connection test by pressing “Test Connection” at the top right. It should give you a “Connection Successful”. 8. Save the settings (remember to press the button), and go into your game. 9. Enter into the GTS as normal. 10. You should then be connected to The Global Terminal instead of the original Nintendo GTS. Once you're done with whatever you need to do, simply go out, change “Auto-obtain DNS” to Yes, and save. Your connection should then be back to normal. Note: Newer games will require you to edit Internet Settings from the System Menu instead (for DSi/3DS). Please view the YouTube tutorial for those instead. Hmm... Easy, huh! Anyways, once you establish a connection to The Global Terminal, then what you do next depends on which service you want. Below are the DNS Settings for The Global Terminal. • For Distro Server 1 (4th/5th Gen: DPPtHGSSBWB2W2) RNG'd and Shiny Pokemon! ~ Server Sponsored by willaiem, owner of PokeGTS.us The DNS Server settings should read : Primary DNS : N/A Secondary DNS : N/A • For Distro Server 2 (4th/5th Gen: DPPtHGSSBWB2W2) Event Pokemon! The DNS Server settings should read : Primary DNS : N/A Secondary DNS : N/A To test if a server is running correctly, press the Server Check button. Please change your DNS back once you are done using The Global Terminal. Using any other features in-game outside of the GTS such as trading with others will be blocked.
  5. Registration runs from February 14th through February 21st 2019. Battles will run from February 22nd through February 24th. All entrants who play 3 or more matches will get a Shiny Tapu Bulu which will be distributed some time in March. Source: Serebii.net Edit: Can't wait to get Tapu Fini too. HA Tapus will probably distributed later via Pokebank.
  6. Hi all, Hopefully some of the larger researchers can assist me here. I'm wondering if there is a compiled list of Generation V shiny locks available. I've done a few searches and I can't find much other than the legendaries. To be more specific, I want to know which Pokémon in the game have been coded to never be shiny. Gift Pokémon (Hidden ability Eevee, Deerling & normal Magikarp, elemental monkeys etc) are inconsistent. I believe that the gift HA Eevee has been locked yet the Jellicent with its HA hasn't. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks,

I liked the RNGed Faraway Island shiny Mew, made as a PokéPark Mew lookalike, that was posted here last year by St. GIGA, and I thought it might be fun to have something similar for Manaphy. This is possible because the World Hobby Fair Manaphy was given out in a regular Poké Ball and without any kind of event-only ribbons, meaning that a Pokémon Ranger Manaphy can be made to look like it at a first glance, especially once transferred to Gen. V and beyond. OT: みずのたみ ID: 12226 SID: 01337 IVs: 31/27/31/31/29/31 A flawless one could easily be obtained using a different SID, but I wanted the 01337 SID, as a nod to the aforementioned shiny Mew which has 31337 as its SID (31337 might be possible, but I don't personally see the advantage as the delay required would be much longer.) Note: I haven't actually RNGed this; I didn't really care, I just wanted it for my personal collection, but I figured that other people might like the idea and be interested in having a copy of it so I'm submitting it. It should still be legal, regardless. I have included the relevant information from RNGReporter if anybody wishes to verify legality, or if you care about complete legitimacy and would like to RNG your own.

  9. Okay, so first of all: Hi y'all Been lurking for a while but decided to create an account to see if someone could help me with this situation. You see, I found out that the only game where Celebi is not shiny-locked is in Crystal. And so, with the help of gameshark codes, I was able to unlock the GS Ball event that was originally only released in Japan. After this, I went with the classic soft reset method to get a shiny Celebi. I did. But my joy didn't last long when I came to realize there was no "legal" way to get my precious Celebi up to my Gen7 games. And so, I turned to PkHex, but to my dismay, it didn't support the first two gens That was back in june. Yesterday, however, the new update went live and it included Gen2 support. I was thriving. I immediately went on to check my Crystal save file and it recognized it and I was able to check my pokémon. My lovely Celebi was there, and IT WAS MARKED AS LEGAL! Oh! The joy! The happiness! I proceeded to save it as a .pkm file to load it onto my gen7 save file. But, when I did, it was flagged as illegal. Why most this happen to me? Is it necessary for me to suffer in order to gain something better later on in life? (TT_TT) Please, before commenting, keep in mind that LEGAL and LEGIT are not the same thing. I know for sure my Celebi isn't LEGAL, since GameFreak didn't allow compatibility between Gen1&2-Gen3 onwards and didn't launch the GS Ball event anywhere else in the world and I got it on an emulator, not the actual cartridge game. But it is LEGIT. I hunted him until I got him. I'm not the only one who has. I didn't create it on PKHex or any other editing tool. Is there any possible known way for my cherished Celebi to be marked as legal without losing it's shininess?
  10. Sorry for the dumb request, but I'm looking for shiny and competitive (at least perfect to near perfect IVs and beneficial nature) deoxys, mew, darkrai, and shaymin. 12. Looks like the upcoming JP Shiny Kyogre and Groudon events will be by serial code, so only JP 3DS will be able to obtain them? Is this the first official shiny events for these 2 pokemon? I think it a 'yes' to both questions, but I just wanted to confirm. Thanks to all!

  15. Hi, I am requesting PKM files that can work online such as Shiny Mew and Lugia or a Mew that can learn the move Defog. Currently right now I'm having trouble trying to Gen a Shiny Lugia and a Shiny Mew to work. I looked into RoC's-PC and found the files but it has been a hassle trying to get them to work online. If you can be so kind to please introduce me to a file that worked for you or a link that might provide me with the gen files that worked. I may know the reason for shiny Mew but people have talk about obtaining it from the island event on Emerald and being able to exploit a shiny Mew to work. If these Pokemon are shiny lock let me know. I appreciate it very much. Note: When I was trying to gen for Shiny Lugia and Shiny Mew, I made sure it was event and not one where I could try to do manually cause I knew about the difficulty of trying to obtain one.
  16. So I'm trying to increase the rate in a HGSS rom (or rather Drayano's Storm Silver). I know there's an AR code for 100% shiny encounters, but that's not what I'm looking for. I've seen a similar topic on here but I don't know anything about editing roms so I didn't understand it. I'm not interested in learning to edit roms on a large scale; I just want to change the shiny rate. Can anyone explain this process step by step? I get lost when it comes to getting the arm9 file back into the rom. Here's the link to the original thread: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?43277

  19. Hello! I'm kind of new to this, but I was hoping that someone would be able to trade me these shinies through a Wi-Fi trade. I've included two pk7 files that should contain the Pokemon I'm asking for. Popplio Ralts Lopunny Popplio.pk7 Ralts.pk7 Lopunny.pk7
  20. NOTE: If I cannot indeed place a paid request for a pretty huge rom edit, then please kindly let me know. Otherwise, if you have lots of time and skill with editing the textures cleanly, please let me know so that I can thank you dearly for this request. Also, I skimmed through the terms and conditions, and found nothing that said that I cannot do this. If I missed anything, kindly correct me. When I say big, I mean pretty darn big. On this DeviantArt page (high-jump-kick.deviantart.com) are alternate shinies for every Pokémon thus far. I basically want somebody to edit the shiny textures of each and every Pokémon form to corresponding shiny colorations on said DeviantArt page. Some Pokémon, such as Alolan Grimer and Alolan Muk, have more than one particular recoloring, so choose in that case from the available options. Also, if your result is a few shades off of the image, that I can also accept, so long as it looks like the corresponding image. Of course, I will pay well for this. Please reply if you want to contribute. Thank you. In case you're wondering why I can't do this myself, there are two reasons: The first is that this is not a very good computer and is probably not able to handle the memory requirements. The second is that I do not have that much free time, and while I could muster that up, it would take a really long time before I finish it myself. I am willing to pay money to save that time, and lots of it.
  21. Hi, I'm requesting files for legit shiny pokemon you or someone else found in the virtual console games Red, Blue and Yellow such as a Shiny Articuno or HA Nidoking. Whether they were gotten from the Mew glitch or any other methods other than outright genning doesn't matter to me. I'd really appreciate this, thanks!
  22. Okay so im trying to generate, from scratch, a shiny kyogre, groudon and rayquaza. these pokemon are only available as shiny from gen 3. im using emerald, however if i try to use the ones i have so far in rated special battle, it tells me that something is wrong with one of my pokemon (being on of these 3) i was wondering if anyone have detailed information on how to make these legit. i would love to pull out a shiny primal kyogre or groudon in rated battles
  23. Hello again Trainers! I am confused on what type of request this falls under, and what thread, so I was hoping somebody could clarify. Anyhow, what I would like RNG'd and added to the Pokemon archive is a shiny, docile, 6iv flawless mew from faraway island. In this post I will include all of the numbers needed to reproduce it yourself on an emulated JP Emerald copy, frame by frame. I hope you have better luck at landing frames than I do. In that way, I guess I am like HaxAras. I have one final request for the held item. If it is not holding its default item, a Lum Berry, please give it one for authenticity of it being the most perfect Pokemon. Now, on to the Directions: Origin Game: Japanese Emerald OT Name: Iwata Species: 151: Mew Pokemon Seed: BF0B02AA PID: E85091A9 Initial Game Seed: 0 VBA-M-RR TID Generation Frame (plus BIOS intro): 4435 Clock Battery: Dead TID Seed: 835EFA48 (according to VBA-M-RR when using the RNG Script Suite for JP Emerald) RNG'able TID: 15575 Desired Compatible SID: 17710 Nature: Docile Caught location: 201: Faraway Island Met Level: 30 Level: 30: HP: 109: 31IV/0EV Attack: 74: 31IV/0EV Defense: 74: 31IV/0EV Special Attack: 74: 31IV/0EV Special Defense: 74: 31IV/0EV Speed: 74: 31IV/0EV Hidden Power Type: Dark Hidden Power Level: 70 Ability Slot: 1 Pokemon PID Generation Frame: 3886 Time: 1:04.76 Ball: Dive Ball Item: Lum Berry Enjoy the Mew, as I could not make it into a PKM without Kaphoptics' finest work, and please do send me the resulting PKM file. If you would, Please PokeBank it, and let me know how it reacts. I did not share the PKM file, as this is firstly the wrong thread, and possibly otherwise damaging to my reputation on the web. You are free to archive the Pokemon data files. For extra legitimacy (which I sort of half-care about), my challenge to you is to use suloku's tool, in dol format, without a permanently traceable modded console, (such as using please.hackmii.com or Wilbrand directly with the Gen III wonder card tool, on a virgin Wii if possible, otherwise, if taking on the challenge with a virgin Wii is too costly, just do the above on your hacked Wii without using bootmii or the HBC (it will be untraceable in the PKM. I prefer using PokeLoad on gc forever if you care about legitimacy. To flash the memcard for use with PokeLoad using gcmm without the HBC or Bootmii, just use Smash Stack with gcmm instead of hackmii, and then load the memcard up with your favorite working gc Pokemon game, and use the tool for max legitimacy. All RNG must be done in VBA-M-RR, so Fix94's link cable dumper must be loaded the same way for the highest legitimacy. For the most legitimacy, use the SD reader bundled with JP channel. Feasibly this complex setup simulates corrupted memory cards, and could very remotely happen if a wish maker Jirachi was caught at it's best shiny spread first time, first try.
