Hello, I am not sure if this is the right place for this, but I downloaded pkhex and it works just fine when I modify the save, but my emulator (drastic) is saved on my smartphone and it doesnt allow to overwrite the existing save, it just creates another copy on my computer that I cannot load on My phone. Any ideas?

Hi guys, I've been having some trouble with saving data on my soulsilver retail cart. After completing the game myself, I decided to save a backup and play in one of the contributed saves in the threads, this was about a year ago and everything seemed to work fine (i could save and open the game without difficulty). Recently I wanted to get into rng and decided to change both the sid and tid of the save through pkhex. Exported it and it restored perfectly. After about an hour of playing I decided to save the game and edit a few Pokemon through pksm (just a bit of fun, added pokerus into a chatot). Booted the game up, played a bit, saved and soft resetted. After the opening cutscenes, I got the blue corruption screen. Now whatever save I use, either a file found in the user contributed saves thread or a backup of the previous saves, the same results after saving the game happens. The main issue now that I think about it would be because I changed the OT/SID/TID of these saves? PS After a while of researching, I've realised that when saving the message reads 'saving a lot of data'. This lead me to the github page about an issue from editing box data in HGSS which caused this bug. Does anyone know any other ways to resolve this (don't really want to save multiple times due to the nature of RNG Heres the page https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/issues/2697 EDIT: Ignore this, ive found solutions

So uh, i'm really new to this. I installed Homebrew and PkHex earlier this afternoon and decided to try it out. I'm hoping that i'm missing something and I haven't installed it wrong or anything. Anyway, i'm trying to implement a Gardevoir, a Marshadow, and a Zeraora. The Gardevoir is legal, but the Marshadow and the Zeraora are illegal due to their meeting place being invalid, though I tried removing the illegal Pokemon and it still did not save. I'm on version 11.10.0, and try and put my Gardevior into my box, using the set button. After I do that, i press export data and replace my "main" file with the new one. When I enter the game, however, nothing has changed. When I re-open PkHex, all the changes are still there. I am using Ultra Moon. Do I need extra software, such as F.B.I? Am I saving incorrectly? Is it my console? Anyway, I would appreaciate some help regarding this matter, as I cannot find any information on what i'm doing wrong. Many thanks, ~Storm

Hello, so I have this small issue that is bugging me. I am currently trying to edit the EV's on my starter Pokemon to fit my desires a bit more on Pokemon Pearl. I can open up the Pearl.dst file, select that it is Pearl in English select my starter Pokemon, change the EV's, then when I go to file and save it, it will just crash. If I use "save as" and use the same name, click yes to replace, it crashed once more. If I do it and save as a different name, I get this error message. Please help. D:

So I've been a PokéGen user for quite some time now, and for the longest time I was unable to figure out why sometimes when saving a .pkm some fields would save and some wouldn't. Turns out that fields that you simply type what you want instead of selecting it in the drop-down menu (where applicable) don't save properly. They just empty themselves back to the default value. This happens even when the field data is correct, with the box changing from red to white and capitalization occurring properly. Just something to look into since it can take some time scrolling through the drop-down menus on a laptop.

Hi! I want to start manipulating my save files to create wondercard events. I understand that you can save a save file to your PC to manipulate it and then re-save it back to the DS cart. Can someone tell me if it is possible to save the save file on a spare DS cart (on a game cart that I don't use)? If that sort of thing is possible, is it possible to save a wondercard on a DS cart so that it acts a distribution cart? My ideal outcome would be to save a distribution cart wondercard onto a spare DS cart and use that in another DS to send the wondercard 'legitimately' to my Pokemon games.

So now I'm having issues with making the edits show up. I tried editing a pokemon, but when I loaded the game it said save file was corrupted, loading previous file. So it loads the previous files and my edits aren't there. How do I remedy this? Also, when I dump the .sav onto pokesav, sav reads it as if the changes have gone through(meaning I can see the edits I have made on pokesav, even though they haven't been recognized by the game because of the file corruption alert.)

Hello, I have been trying to make my own codes and every single code that I make doesn't work. Well it works but when i try to save after I activate the codes it says "Save Error", but if i have the codes on before i activate them, it saves fine, and when i restart my game, it saves fine also. Somebody Please Help! Now i do know how to Sav Pokemon, but whenever i create them, they always come up as not being Legit as PBR doesnt let me use them on wifi. I've watched Fenzo's Saving tutorial for PLat and you don't need hex values on hatched pokemon in platinum, and status to hatched at daycare? someone please Clarify what im doing wrong
