EDIT: PLEASE CLOSE. Sorry, didn't read rules ahead of time *hangs head* Alright, so my friend got a 2 month head-start on me on Platinum, seeing as I just got it a week ago. So I decided to get myself a team of Competitive Battling - Ready level 50s which include Togekiss, Garchomp, Luxray, Roserade (Thinking I want to replace this one, lol.), Infernape, Milotic, and Luxray (Omg ... Luxxy is amazing Fav. Poke). ANYWAYS! It took a few tries, but eventually I made it work(Some of the additional item options and such that I tried to include in the AR Code were causing the game to freeze. I can't remember which one exactly. I think it was the location option, which I tried in a seperate code alone and it failed, it was the Pokemon League). But finally I got them uploaded. The problem is, I'm nervous he is going to check the Pokedex or something. I battle with them, tried depositing and withdrawing them, leveled them, Hall of Famed, everything! I just CANNOT get them in my Pokedex. Seen orcaught! Any help? Thanks P.S. - I'm really wanting to learn more about PokeSAV and help not only myself out, but the community as well with their wants. Any experienced SAVers out there who might mentor me in a way? I understand the general program but not everything. I'm just self-learning about Hexi at the moment. I was wondering if you're battling someone via wi-fi, and they whip out a Deoxys, will it be recorded in your Pokedex? I ask because you need to have at least seen a Pokemon to trade for it with the GTC.

I'm not perfect, mistakes can exist in the program still. This program can be used for Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 for the following tasks: Generating Action Replay codes to create Pokemon, modify the Pokedex, and add Mystery Gift data, including exporting to an XML file that can be dragged to the Action Replay code manager Loading and saving of save files. Pokemon data and Pokedex data can be fully modified. Loading and saving of party and PC .pkm files (136, 220, and 236 byte, encrypted and unencrypted) Adding Wonder Cards to save files Conversion of Action Replay codes into Pokemon information (This is limited.) Finding a PID to match IVs, nature, gender, ability, shininess, and hidden power type/power - with variable IVs Recalculating save file checksums Editing items Editing C-Gear background images Most of what you need to know to use the program is self-explanatory. However, there are now tooltips explaining just about everything in it. There are some things that aren't quite covered though: Windows XP or newer is required. (However, it does run without issues on "emulated" Windows programs for Mac OS and Linux.) (This is only applicable to generation 4 games, and maybe not even HG/SS.) Using codes for party Pokemon can sometimes cause bad eggs upon activating the code. You can just activate it again and it should fix the problem. (You can check the summary after activating each time to see if it's fixed, or just close the party display and re-open it.) I don't think there's any way around this. As far as I know, this has no negative effect on the game when you save, as long as you don't save it with a bad egg. (I'm not even sure if saving with a bad egg would be harmful, but there's no reason to do so.) Pokemon can be dragged around amongst party/box slots. .pkm files can be dragged into and from party/box slots. You can associate compatible files (save files, .pkm files, etc) with PokeGen to be able to easily load them from Explorer windows. Holding alt and clicking a Pokemon icon will display that Pokemon's information instead of requiring you to right click and "View data". Holding shift + alt and clicking a Pokemon icon will set the slot's data with the tab's data. Obviously this is equivalent to right clicking and selecting "Set". If you don't want to receive updates to certain languages, delete the corresponding language file. If you can't figure out how to do something, read the tooltips. For those that don't know, tooltips are an informative message that gets displayed when you stop your mouse pointer over a control (editbox, dropdown box, button, etc) for a short period of time. There's also the questions and answers thread that's being updated occasionally. Note the date on posts in this thread if you're reading through it. There were many changes to the program since its initial release, including a rename, removal of generation 3 support, and other major redesigns. Also, this thread used to be the only way to post feedback/bugs for the program, prior to a forum section being made. That's why it has tons of posts when it's a locked thread.

Hi guys! I play Pokemon Platinum on no$gba emulator, and noticed that Pokesav doesn't allow me to complete the sinnoh pokedex in one go (the complete option is greyed out.) I'd like to have a complete sinnoh pokedex so I can get the national dex and unlock stark mountain, better elite four, resort area etc. I don't want to check the "sinnoh + national pokedex" because I think it'll freeze when I try to get the national dex from Oak/Rowan. I just started a new game, and I'm trying to speedrun it you see (not going to cheat too badly :creep:) Is there a way you can get the full pokedex? It would be a bigger bonus if you could complete the national dex too :cool:

Hey guys, first time posting here. Not sure whether this belongs here but here goes. I hacked a Caterpie in my Platinum game. I didn't hatch it from an egg but took it straight from the box in the PC. Pretty retarded. Now, when I look at the summary for it, the Pokedex entry is ??? Is there any way to fix this? I've tried to meet it in a random encounter, I've tried hatching it, but it still doesn't get added T_T And I've already saved my game. Any help would be appreciated.

To mark my excitement of completing my own National Dex, I will help others do the same. In other words, I will trade eggs. I don't need anything so trade me whatever via WiFi-Trading. Don't expect hacked stats or specific natures, but I can breed for egg moves. Just let me know: Pokedex #: Pokemon: Gender: Nature: Moveset: Friendcode: Misc.: Since it's in the egg, I can't guarantee much of anything but will go out of my way to breed for moves and to use an everstone to attempt to get a desired nature. There are a few pokemon that I can't use a everstone with. (i.e. when breeding for a Wynaut, my Wobbufet will need to hold Lax Incense, etc) Disclaimer: 1. If you don't get the desired nature, or want to tweak your stats further, I suggest continuing to breed the pokemon further. 2. Timeliness is contingent upon how much, if at all, I'm bombarded with requests. Be patient, I'll notify you via PM that a pokemon is ready and we can go from there.

i used pokesav to add a pokemon to bebe's pc, but it doesn't show up on my pokedex as own, all though i can own the next evolution chain on the pokedex as it evolve. what can i do to get that first stage pokemon into my pokedex?

Well i used to code to complete my Sinnoh Dex. Later, when i turned on my game without my AR, i talked to Rowan for the Nat. Dex but it was full so apparently the code filled both up 100%. Could someone with pokesav make a code that erases my Nat. Dex?

Well, our sites pokedex is currently being worked on and we even have a full list of all the 493 pokemon currently. However, for now there is no information on them. I'm hoping that this will come soon and if there are any updates on it I hope they will be posted here. I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of our pokedex and if you are too or you don't think it matters much post your comments here. I can't get a full pokedex with pokesav, so my question is where can I downlad a DSpokeEidter, or anything else that would do the trick. Thanks

I was wondering if there is a program to move the seen/caught data of the pokedex from Platinum to Diamond so that I can use this Diamond save with My Pokemon Ranch. I already know how to change the trainer ID and move the pokemon over, I just wish I could move the pokedex info over too.

On Pokesav Platinum, there is no option to max out your pokedex, like there was on the DP Pokesav. What's up with that?

Needs to be much better than what it is, for one thing a numbering system does not work. I understand for kids it's helpful but now with 493 Pokemon, several additional formes, it's not a very good catalogue. I blame Professor Oak in his old age really. Ideas I've thought about have been a workaround method of organising Pokemon. You'll notice this will begin to sound like a book rather than a handheld dex. - Entirely alphabetical, but seeing Legendaries such as Arceus beside Ariados may just seem a bit, out of place. - Elemental organising, meaning the Pokemon are less cluttered with Pokemon that have no elemental relation, so meaning evolution chains can sit beside eachother quite snugly. Eevee will be discussed soon. - Relating the elemental organising with legendaries, most likely in an encyclopedia they would all come under something along the lines of 'Legends' or 'Myths'. But when it comes to the likes of Mewtwo and Deoxys, which are neither, I suppose they could come under the normal elemental organistion, or they come under 'man-made' like Porygon or Castform, but Deoxy being 'man-made' is debateable. - Eevee is a toughy, seeing as I can't seem to find any other Pokemon where there isn't some sort of elemental link between each evolution, my best guess would put them into their own elemental areas but make it vividly clearly they are linked, perhaps an additional article at the back or beside Eevee's page about it's remarkable ability. So yeah, I think too much. Ideas?

I Can't complete my pokedex using the pokemon platinum pokesav. is every one experiencing the same thing:(

I want a sav file with a complete national pokedex. I tried doing it myself, but failed. WHen I ticked both sinnoh and sinnoh+national it didn't work, then I tried just sinnoh, then just sinnoh+national but didn't work. So, I just want to start fairly in the beginning, like in twinleaf town or sandgem or something, but not a finished game... THANKS.

Hey guys, first time poster here so forgive me if this isn't able to be done or this is some sort of hot taboo topic. I'd like to know if anyone knows how to alter the PokeDex by individual entries. Like, say I wanted to add that I caught Charmeleon in my PokeDex, but just him (not the case here, but I need it for something else). I cloned a Shaymin using PokeSav AR, and I forgot that it registers the first form it sees that wasn't directly implanted. Stupid me used the Gracidea, so the first form seen in my PokeDex is Sky Forme (which to my knowledge is illegal). Anyone know how to fix this?
