During one of his installments of Iwata Asks, the late president of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, interviewed Tsunekazu Ishihara and Shigeki Morimoto concerning the premier of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Ishihara, the president of The Pokémon Company along with colleague, Shigeki Morimoto of Game Freak sat with Mr. Iwata where the pair spilled the "bits" about Mew's origin. I vaguely remember reading this article in the past. I'm glad I stumbled upon it. However, the segment where they mention Mew reminds me of the exploitation of Pokémon VG and why most of us have come to join the PPorg community. I'll leave the link below if you all would like to read the transcript. http://iwataasks.nintendo.com/interviews/#/ds/pokemon/0/0

Pokemon X/Y and OR/AS have a new update released today. http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1061/p/430 Information: As of April 1, 2015, new update data for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y has been made available for download on Nintendo eShop. We strongly recommend that all Pokémon X and Pokémon Y players download and install this update. Update Details: This update also includes the previous updates. Ver. 1.4 details (released on April 2, 2015) Adjustments have been made to make for a more fun gaming experience. Users should download the software update prior to using the following online features: Connecting to the Internet using the Player Search System Using Wonder Trade Using Game Sync Connecting to the Global Trade Station Redeeming a Mystery Gift Without updating the games, you can access Pokemon bank (must have updated 3ds). You cannot connect if you don't update cause you'll get an error code saying you can't connect in-game. my question, will they delete hoopa and the water fire thing when you update like they did with diancie when they released that other update right before releasing diancie? How will this update aeffect what you guys do? EDIT: XY 1.4/ORAS 1.3 features the following fixes:

Hello! I am searching for a way to get a Manaphy. I don't see any on GTS. None of the guides I have read say anything other than trade from another game - and the game I had one on was stolen along with my original 3ds. I suspect that finding a new Pokemon Ranger game, never played, is cost prohibitive. Is there a way that, if I were to buy a used Pokemon Ranger game, I would be able to reset it so that I could get an egg? If so, I do have access to a DSi as well as my replacement 3DS XL - would I be able to transfer the egg from the Pokemon Ranger to a copy of Pokemon Diamond, then from Diamond to get the Manaphy somehow into my Omega Ruby? If that is unlikely to work, t am wondering whether there is a way using a 3ds XL running the latest updates as well as Omega Ruby with the latest updates to create a Manaphy. If that is unlikely, then is there a web site that provides the ability to generate one? If that is unlikely, then are there other players on the internet who could generate a Manaphy for me? Thank you!

So, my new pokemon black ROM cannot connect to wi-fi or Infrared connections. I searched around and could not find a way to fix this. I had recently gotten a genesect on it and would like to transfer it over along with some pokemon I caught to my friend, but I cant connect to Wi-fi even when my DSi XL itself is. Also, I am using an Acekard 2i, which is supposedly compatible with it perfectly. I havent had a problem until now. Help?

Following a Nikkei leak earlier in the week, Nintendo formally announced its upcoming DSi hardware revision today. The system will carry the name Nintendo DSi LL. It will see release on November 21 in three colors, Dark Brown, Wine Red, and Natural White. Pricing is set at ¥20,000, a bit up from the current DSi's ¥18,900 asking price. DSi LL will feature two 4.2 inch screens, offering 93% additional area over the current DSi's 3.25 inch screen size. Nintendo will be including two different touch pens with LL. One can be stored in the system similar to the current touch pen, although it's about four millimeters longer than the current pen. The other touch pen is fatter and about 30 mm longer. The spec page lists the LL's dimensions as 161x91.4x21.2mm, up from DSi's 137x74.9x18.9mm. The LL also weighs more, at 314g compared to 214g. Not surprisingly, there are some changes to the system's battery life. LL owners can look forward to more play time. Under mid-level brightness, LL will last 9 to 11 hours, up from DSi's 6 to 9 hour range. At the highest brightness setting, players can look forward to 4 to 5 hours of play time, up from the current 3 to 4 hours. Charge time takes a bit longer on the LL: three hours, or about 30 minutes more than DSi's two hours and thirty minutes. IMO I want my DSi to be more portable instead of a mini laptop. Also I think this DSi is aimed more towards old people because of the colors, screen size, and pen. Another thing that would annoy me would be if this DSi had a better processor, ram, camera, and memory, but I doubt it will since Nintendo isn't that evil. Whats your thoughts on this new DSi? I know that the Nintendo DSi can download demos and exclusive titles online using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. All ya gotta do is redeem your Nintendo Points Card and get your Nintendo Points on your Nintendo DSi. There are only certain games found online, and that's what we call, Nintendo DSi Ware. You can download those DSi Ware games using your Nintendo Points. Some DSi Ware games use the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and some use Pay and Play for additional downloadable content. So enjoy what DSi Ware is all about.

yah im having trouble finding an action replay code that will enable the use of the new pokemon forms on platinum on nintendo wi-fi? i really would appreciate it if anyone could find the code for me and incase it isn't already obvious enough, then by forms i mean the new rotom forms the new shaymin sky form and giratina origin form which are exclusive only to platinum. i want the code for the USA version because i tried using the japanese and it didn't work. my email is: radgoku@yahoo.com

I've been wanting to use the codes that allow you to change the name of a traded Pokemon as well as the Shiny Pokeradar code. Will it leave any kind of trace? Will Nintendo be able to tell this was done?

Wait, wasn't Pokesav threatened by Nintendo once?
Destati posted a topic in Project Pokémon Feedback
Random question. A long long time ago, I remember reading something about how Nintendo attacked Pokesav.org a while ago (Before I was here). Something about how they wanted you to remove their events or something. What happened? Because obviously we still have them. And yes, I just remembered this. -
My setup is a Linksys WMP54G PCI Wireless Adapter, using modified drivers, acting as a soft access point. Packet logging done by Wireshark. So far, I have analyzed these stuff: The client (DS) and server do a SSL Handshake while connecting. Most data (except data about IPs/ports) is encrypted in an unknown encryption as of yet. Data about IP/Ports is transmitted via UDP, not TCP The protocol is the same even if you're using Plat or D/P (That's what it seems, please correct me if I'm wrong) That's all I managed to recall (I forgot to save)
