I have a few suggestions for the site, which may be implemented later in the long run, i don't know. I hope i got this right, but right now i don't see any official topics. One suggestion would be to add some kind of competitive Pokemon Gaming ladder to the site, for those who fight competitively on the site. I'm not sure if you guys are going for that kind of thing, though. On my own site that i am making now, i installed this mod onto it (i am using phpbb) , and it allows me to make ladders, and manage clans that people make. However, managing ladder matches can be a hassle, you would probably have to assign ladder mods... i don't know. I was wondering, though, if that would be a good idea. I know it would really appeal to the competitive pokemon players of the site, and this might attract more people. I can understand, though, if this isn't a good idea.

So, while I haven't been on PP much recently, I have been on a bunch of other forums, and a few of them have a Media/Entertainent section, divided into books/literature, music, TV, movies and video games sub-forums. If it's too much effort to do that, I understand, but perhaps PP could do something similar? Creative discussion could perhaps just become the section to post your own works and other such things. Also, how about a stickied suggestion thread for this section, so that it doesn't get cluttered with all the suggestion threads that are bound to pop up. Cheers, Shroom.

How come everytime I post a thread in the Pokemon Heartgold & Soulsilver section it says the thread will be posted once approved by a moderator. Does this happen to everyone? If not why am I being moderated as I haven't been on the site for about a year or 2

Since Shoddy has been introduced to me I have been hooked. It is a personal goal of mine to make Shoddy as large as it can be on this forum. I believe the next step in Project Pokémon's Shoddy is to integrate tournaments into the forums to make it more of a presence so it can attract new members. I have recently installed a new mod that will allow us to create tournaments and battle through to find a champion. Champions will receive forum privileges (to be determined later). Comments, concerns, questions, etc. are welcomed!

As title says. Hello forum members. I've been registered for some time, but school eats up a chunk of my time. I'd love to battle and trade with people, my game name is Joey and my FC is 3781 9275 1197. Currently I'm working on my OU team, and can only do 3 vs 3. Anyways, I'll just leave this right here......

Hey all. In an effort to stay in touch at all times, I am using my mobile phone to access the forums now. I couldn't help but notice, however, that the "Menu" button doesn't work, and that I can't access the moderator functions. If those issues could be addressed, that would be awesome. By the way, I'm using a Samsung Impression and the MediaNet browser. EDIT: Also would be nice to have dates next to the timestamps for each post.

Yes. I am leaving the forums. I don't have much else to say... Thanks for everything. Its been REALLY great here. Actually I do have something to say. Just kidding! This is something I like to do for multiple things. Its a test to see if people read everything that I write, or if they just read the first sentence or two, don't read it at all and only read the title, or something like that. However, I WILL be cutting down on using the chat room and using the forums. If you read this whole paragraph, don't reply. Only people that don't read it all will reply, or maybe not. I have done this countless times. And at least 5 people reply to it. This is a kinda big forum (not really big) and I wanna see how many people will reply. So I'll be hanging around the forums and chat whenever I have free time and I'm bored, or if I have no school.

Recently(few minutes ago) I got to thinking about the "Mild Advertisement" infraction of The Rules. What made me really think was that they included the word Mild(Moderate in type, degree, effect, or force. Not extreme.) in the title. What if a user posted Extreme Advertisement, I did not see an infraction for Blatant ads in the Infraction list. Maybe a Blatant ads gets a direct ban without warning, but that brings up another question for me. Why Ban without warning someone who Advertises 'Blatantly', and give a 50 point infraction to someone who is talking about Pirated Material. That's similar to "Convicting an innocent man for(whatever) and giving the guilty a slap on the wrist", is it not? Another thing, what would be considered "Mild Advertisement"? Would Viral Advertisement be considered mild? Wikipedia says that Viral Advertisement is "marketing techniques that use pre-existing social networks to produce increases in brand awareness" and "It can be word-of-mouth delivered". Should talking about the "next pokemon game" or "Flash Carts for DS" be considered Viral Advertisement, should they be topics applicable for the "Mild Advertisement" infraction? Alot of the things we think of just regular speech could actually be Advertisement in a sense of form, and should it really be allowed past the "Mild Advertisement" infraction? I know a MOD can decided what they will and will not allow, but this is just to strike some talk about what we think Mild Advertisement is. Often when I start talking I jump off subject and touch on other thoughts in my head, but yeah that is the gist of what I had in mind. I might be wrong in what some things I say, but what do you think?

As the topic said, I think it would be nice if someone would make a stickied topic in Event Pokemon forum regarding the issue, so that new people *might* stop and read the sticky topic first before flooding the forum with the same question. Mods, please close the thread if someone had already suggested this idea. :rolleyes: -

Im Chris and I just migrated from the old PokeSav forum. Im here to get help from Pokemon HGSS and to other Pokemon details as well. I'll keep everything at minimum to avoid long and unnecessary discussions. I'll keep in touch with this forum when I need something. Dont worry, I dont post noobish replies like "Help! Help!" topic. As much as possible, I'll try to reply and keep posting new topics at minimum. Im from Asia.

It's really irritating to have a nag screen come up every single time I come to the forums. Sometimes I just want to browse without having to log in. Not to mention the nag has no exit button that I can see, which makes even logging in more difficult than it has to be. Call me petty, but if this continues, I'll be finding another Pokemon forum to frequent, which sucks, cause I just discovered you guys and like it here for the most part.

Why is Fenzo's site blocked? I mean, he thanks multiple people from PP on his front page. To my knowledge, no other links are censored, so why is his? What I mean is it comes up like this: http://www.********** Compared to: http://www.serebii.net http://www.google.com http://www.pokemonsecure.com EDIT: If for some reason this information is more appropriate via PM then a public post, then those with answers can PM me. I'm just curious.

What about a strategy area where you can post your own team and others can rate it. Also for movesets and so on... Or like for Shoddy-tournaments (online) etc.

Okay, here's what happens. It may be because I have my cookies disabled, but not for here (except for 3rd party cookies). When I try to go to a discussion in a social group, I have to log in again. It gets really annoying. :\

Every time I go to the forums, There is a big advertisement asking me to register in front of the login box. It's getting kind of annoying. Maybe you could move it down a bit.

I had this in mind for a bit since I came into this forums..and also was the first thing I was looking for when I came here . The idea here is pretty simple. We separate the battlers of this forum into teams and we organize competitive events. The teams can be started by anyone...but must be organized and approved. I'd like to see a limited amount of teams..not 10 teams and 6 of them are inactive, the amount of teams for now should be preferably 3-4 teams. There will be events that will be organized by team leaders and what not. The battling can be done by wi-fi or shoddy. What I wanted is that after the teams grow significantly we can organize inter-forum competition..and it can get real big! With that it can help with advertising and we can get more members and what not. Hope this will be considered and accepted

While I prefer that we use Google ads rather than more visually offensive ads, I noticed that there have been some ads added recently to the "Site Theme" theme of the forums. And I just want to say that their random placement is pretty annoying. Sometimes they are under the thing that tells you what your thread and forum are, sometimes they're on the right, sometimes they even appear as if they are a thread title, listed just above the stickies. But it's even more annoying when they appear inbetween posts, or under the forum header. I have a widescreen display, so it's not very tall vertically. With all the gigantic sigs in this forum, and now with the new random ads thrown in, it's becoming more and more difficult to read anything on this forum. Isn't it possible to just keep the ads on the right side or something like that?
