so im new using pokesav and i made my first code perfectly (change my characters name to RYU :biggrin:) but, now i want to change my absol and dragonite's gender to male (they're both female) but i just cant figure out how to do it, the game crashes when i use the code given, so.....help please EDIT: btw, if this thread belongs to another section please move it

I have the Action Replay for the DSi and when I add the AR codes from Pokesav to my AR codelist using the Code Manager it says the codes were added. When I disconnect my AR from my computer, insert it my DSi, and power it on, the code's name will appear in the codelist but the actual code will be blank. I know for a fact that the AR DSi uses the exact same codes as the AR DS so that's not the issues. I've used AR DS codes many times and they've worked fine. P.S. Does anyone have a working code for checking your Secret ID on U.S. Platinum Version?

Okay, so I'll explain what I need help with. Basically, if I want to enter a cheat into my AR DS, I have to manually enter them. Even if the code is 180 lines long. I've downloaded the ARDS code manager Soldjermon provided in a thread. Sad part is, the ARDS code manager we get from these links is v1.01. Isn't it supposed to be the latest one? I've clicked on software update, so it would download the latest version. But I only got 1.05. I've read on these forums that I should have the ARCM version 1.52 and higher with ARDS v1.60. Where can I find v1.52 of the ARCM? Or if someone has it, and would put it in a zip file and add it as an attached file to his comment, it would be great. Well, thanks in advance.

Well I have tried using the Platinum download today because there are some pokemon I wish to get that you cannot get less you trade and I no longer have my old games. Though besides the point I've been trying to make an egg appear in my 16th box. and I've been trying to get Celebi. Though I'll customize it with nature and input my trainer id. Nothing really special. where I met it and I'll save it, and I'll get the code and paste it into my AR manager copy it the AR etc.. turn on my game, then proceed to press the L+ R triggers.. But low and behold nothing happens.I'm not entirely sure what I am doing wrong. And ontop of that I'll get to game codes for recognizing the game; D07 and 3811DEF6. *I can't remember the entire code but I used 38* So if someone has some sort of idea what I could be doing to somehow mess this up I would like if anyone may have a general idea. I'm sorry if I'm spamming or if this question has already been answered. I just couldn't find any answers browsing beforehand.

Alright I got my PokeSav codes to work on my AR, but when I press L+R I only get my items, all my junk pokemon are dismissed except the first, but the first pokemon stays the same. I can't get my shining Giratina to come up at all. All the items works, just not my edited Pokemon. Previously I was posting on thwewrong thread, I apologize I'm new here. Can someone help me please?

Okay So I got the Action Replay to work with PokeSav codes, but the thing is, when I pressed L+R I got all the items and stuff, but my shining Giratina won't appear! Anyone know the reason to this? I need assistance please!

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this, but I've got nowhere else to go. So I've been attempting to get these AR codes working for my HGSS games on my Acekard 2i. I've taken all the steps to ready the use of AR codes with it and no matter which file type (.xml, cheats.dat, urscheats.dat) I try and use it claims that there is so cheats for this game located in the CheatDB File. Has anyone had a similar problem and overcome it? Or perhaps someone already knows how to fix this?

Sorry if i'm in the wrong place i'm new and a little confused as to where to post. I just recently purchased a dsi Ar and was interested in using it so i could make custom pokemon that i could use as novelty use only. My question is that I have the dsi ar, but how do I use it? I downloaded the pokesav file and thought i did everything correctly, but the first time i did it i got a bad egg. Is there anyone that is able to walk me through how to use it step by step or perhaps give me a synopsis of how to get the code into my ar so i may use it? Thank you for your time, Kyle

Can someone help me with this? Also, the Action Replay code created by Pokesav HGSS (ENG) that I used worked (I edited the PokéBalls so I could have the Apricorn PokéBalls, but then there was a "save error" while the code was in effect). Saving was so fast that I thought there was a problem; I tried to enter the Union Room (to test it out), and then it said "save error" (I use Magnius's English translation patch, if that helps at all). (Editing the save file directly won't because of the in-game name thing, even though I used the guide to make Japanese characters show up). Thanks in advance for any help! -
Hi, I just joined and I have two questions. First, on the wild pokemon modifier, is there a way to just have the modifier part without the other two parts? I don't really get much into all the pokemon editing, I just want to catch them. Also, about the links to the ar code manager program, is there still a way to get the older ones? Like for win 98? I still have that version of windows and the new programs won't work on mine and I lost the disks I had for the older ones. I am looking forwar to being a member here, it looks like a great place. Sorry, I forgot to specify which game the code is for: Platinum.

Every time I try to use PPSE to export an AR code to my US Platinum Version, I keep getting seriously f*cked up Bad Eggs in my PC (and they don't even show up in the slots I assigned to the code). I tried reinstalling PPSE and still no luck. So I have one thing to ask. Does PPSE not fully support the US Platinum yet, or is something buggy in PPSE? ~STBE

Sigh dumb question: ok I have AR for my DS and only have Platinum/P etc on my AR software so I tried adding HG unto my AR software and it asked me for the Game ID and Game Code? I got the GAME ID: HG: IPKJ A587D7CD but what is the game code how do I find this out? AR won't let me add Heart Gold unto my AR without the game code? Hi, I can't get the Action Replay code manager, nor my computer at all, to recognize that my AR is plugged in. I have it set up like I always do: AR in the DS, DS on, hooked via USB cable. I used to get this problem, but after unplugging it and plugging it back in for whatever reason the hardware had to reinstall itself, but then it would work. But this time it won't do that. I Googled around for a while and found some solutions, such as stuff in the device manager, uninstalling/reinstalling the code manager, etc. Nothing fixed it. Do any of you know what may cause this? Btw, I'm running XP, so the Vista issues aren't a problem. EDIT: I now constantly get the message that Windows failed to recognize the device when I plug it in. While it wasn't recognizing it before, at least it's aware of it now. But it doesn't give me any options to fix the problem.

Hey. So I've lost the wire to connect my AR to my computer to get my PokeSav'ed Pokemon into my game.. So I'm wondering if it's possibly to turn the Pokemon I want to make into an actual AR code, like a1d40000 or whatever it would be. Basically a way to get my new creations from the computer to the game.

I really would like to use some Alternate Forms in WiFi, but there is a problem. I play with a iTouchDS, so i can record my Pokemon Platinum-Battles and upload them on YouTube. After i selected the newest cheat.db from GBAtemp, i select the AR Code "Use Alternate Forms over WiFi". But then, when i started the game and wanted to accept a invite in WFC Lobby the game freezes and i have to restart my NDS.. I'm glad for any help! Thank you in forward!

Hey guys. As well as being new to the forum, I have only just received my very first Action Replay. I was wondering whether the Pokesav codes I can create are compatible with the Australian version of Pokemon Diamond. I am nervous about playing around in the game for the moment (baby steps...), and I would rather have all the information before I tinker with my game, so yeah. Also, is there a way to backup my actual save game to my computer? Cool to meet you all, appreciate your feedback.

I have a bit of a dilemma. I believe I just figured out Pokesav, and generated a TRU Regigigas card for myself to see if I could do it. Firstly... I don't know if it works. -twitch- (Is there any way to tell, when it's that insanely long? Most of the other codes I already have are so short.) Secondly, my main problem is that I would have to type this in manually. I left my AR-to-computer cord (+ disc) back at my old house, with my mom, before I moved. There's no way around this, is there? I can find a way to have it shipped, naturally, but I have no idea where I left it. No other options here?

I get the code for AR. Copy/paste it into notepad and put it in 2 columns. It's short a line. What am I doing wrong? I'm using the right pokesav version, so that's not the problem. To clarify It comes out like this D2000000 00000000 00000000 ________ <- missing

So yeah I recently bought AR and I splurged on alot of stuff. but anyway My sis started a new game on my old pearl for keeps so I said if she wanted her pokemon shiny and she said sure but later on when she just got her first badge most of her pokemon started to disobey her. So that got me thinking that all the AR does is change the SID to get a shiny match with you Regular ID to make them shiny. So I want to know is if I get both Her ID and SID and put it through Pokesav and get them to be shiny with her Regular SID and ID will they still obey her? and is it possible to edit most pokemon I have in my Platinum to be the same ID's so they will obey me too? and my final one is Is ther already a code for this? and if this is in the wrong section or something please don't hesitate to delete or lock this.
