About Me

Friend Code (Nintendo Switch)

Friend Code (3DS)

NNID (Wii U)

  1. IIRC Stamp Pokemon have all IVs of 0? Can someone confirm it for me? And reading through the code for NegaiBoshi, I wouldn't be surprised if something like that did happen since setting the flag to the wrong value would indicate you are providing IVs, when you might have meant to generate them. EDIT: I might be thinking about E-card pokemon.
  2. @suloku It'd be nice to have Japanese Eon Ticket saves for the Japanese Card e-Reader+ (one for R/S and one for Emerald), but if working with the English e-Reader's easier for you, that's fine. Also, it figures how Emerald's hardcoded Eon Ticket script only got use in Japan.
  3. Ahh, good point. I just wanted them to have different ID numbers. See, I don't care what the "That's not legit" people have to say. You don't like it? DON'T ADD IT TO YOUR COLLECTION! Problem solved and piss off. With the English ones, I used Action Replay to teleport past the locked door. Then I used my official (pics above) E-reader cards and Japanese E-reader + to scan the cards into my save. They worked just fine. I'm assuming the room is still in the PAL rom since Zerbe92 got them all. I just don't know if the E-reader and cards will work with the PAL save. So I'll just have to convert your save to English, scan in the cards up until Togepi, save and then convert it back to Spanish and boot it up on my PAL copy of the game and catch Togepi. I thought only a Spanish Togepi was uploaded. From what I seen when looking through my files after I edited this post, that is. Eventually, I want complete sets with the OT's HaxAras or Aras.
  4. I need French, German, Spanish and Italian saves for Pokemon Colosseum. I intend to get all of the Colosseum E-reader mons in the various languages. I've heard with the games that you can't boot the save up outside of the language it was started in. (I have NA, PAL and JP copies of the game). I also have access to the COLOS/XD: Save editor. My intention is to first see if the E-reader room will load/work with the PAL copy of the game. If not, I intend to convert the save to English/JP, fight the trainers up to the shadow Pokemon and then convert it back to it's original language and catch the E-reader mons. I'm a bit lazy so it might take me a bit to get around to this. Any chance somebody with Dolphin and a PAL file of the game would be willing to help me run an experiment? I have 3 save backups (90% sure I made backups of my JP save before I caught the E-reader mons) . I'd change the file to your language and send it your way to see if it loads up fine in Dolphin and if you can catch the test E-reader mon. (I could do this myself. But I'd have to find the file, convert it, write it to my memory card and use my region free disk to boot up the pal copy and test it. Being the lazy mofo that I am, I don't want to so it might take another year before I bother.) EDIT: I'm attaching 2 of my Japanese save. One is titled "Save before E-reader" and one is titled "After catching E-reader" or some nonsense. If anybody could load them up and tell me where in the game they are, it would be so helpful, you don't even know. If the first one is before and E-reader trainer or the second has at least some trainers battled, it will save me a TON of time. Edit 2: I feel like I should re-word that. You have to fight 65-70 trainers to get all of the E-reader mons. If either of those saves are right before an E-reader battle or have say caught one E-reader mon and is 10/25 fights into the next one, that's a ton of time saved for me. The reason I don't test this myself: I have multiple memory cards. Each with their own save files to deal with. As well as a region free disk (Yeah, I have a JPN console but I always take the path of most resistance.) that's really annoying to deal with. I figure it would take a lot less time for somebody who has Dolphin to boot up and do a test and let me know the results. If you want the 4 remaining E-reader mon languages, this is how you help me help you. JPColoAfterCatchingEReader.gci JPColoBackupforEReader.gci
  5. This seems like the correct place to post this. The event gallery has a TON of events contributed by myself, to Insane Nutters project. I'd like credit. You have no idea how much work went into obtaining these unless you did it yourself. Mitsuruni Celebi: Found on a Fire Red save on Ebay. Given to my by a friend, I shared it publicly. Colosseum E-reader Pokemon: I bought the Colosseum E-reader cards and took a HUGE dent to my wallet. I had all/most of the other hardware already. I spend many hours battling to catch these mons. XD: Mt. Battle Johto starters. I beat Mt.Battle In XD: 3 separate times for these. Pokemon Box Eggs: (Especially Pichu.) I spent many hours obtaining enough Pokemon to fill Pokemon Box to get my original Pichu back in 2012. PCNY & Rocks Metang: I didn't originally obtain these but I discovered them online in saves overlooked by other people. At least give me a mention. Un-posted, maybe there's plans. Toys R Us mons: I haven't seen these but I discovered the Gengar, Tauros and Ninetales online. English: COLOS Pikachu and AGATE Celebi. Spent a lot of money, time and effort to get these. Go look for another publicly available set, along with most of these others. I have plans to get the E-reader Pokemon in the 4 remaining languages. Spanish, German, Italian and French. I have a PAL Colosseum copy, I just need to mess around a bit with saves to find out if there's a faster way to do this. IF there's interest and credit involved, I'd be happy to contribute those to the event gallery as well.
  6. After a MAJOR blow to my wallet, I tracked down somebody who had a complete set of Colosseum E-reader cards. I bought or had some official hardware and obtained all 3 of these Pokemon using my personal completed Colosseum save. After many hours of battles.

This event was given away using a common password INTIMIDATE for all regions. While Mawilite and Beedrillite were given earlier in March '17 for the participants of the 2017 International Challenge (February Competition), this is the first time that Audinite and Medichamite are obtainable for Pokemon Sun & Moon. This is also the first event that gives away 4 items in the same wonder card. WC 1609: Megapietre in regalo! Mawilite x 1 0x2C Thank you for playing Pokémon! 8. Great @suloku. Btw. How is the Japanese Eon Ticket e-Card I requested going?
  9. I actually forgot until today that I made these savegames but never got to upload them: they are e-reader savegames for all the Nintendo of Italy Eon tickets we got. As you may know, the original US e-reader card is only compatible with the English rom and now each language has its own e-reader savegame. With a little help even the texts for the transfer process were translated so it feels more like what an e-card for the other languages would have been. Legality concerns: using this saves to get the Eon ticket produces the same savegame as sending the cartridge to Nintendo of Italy, so 100% legal. For those purist that only want 100% legitimate stuff on non-english games you'll still need to mix records after using the original US Eon ticket e-card (or send your cartridge to Nintendo... :p) Please read the included readme for proper instructions and credits. EON_ticket_ereader_savegames.zip note: this is also linked in the first post of the Mystery Gift Tool thread, if anyone fears for this being buried in this thread.
  10. @No.one 1) As theSLAYER said, it's the official US Eon ticket e-card (included for event completion and as another option to get it). 2) e-berry where (apparently) removed from FRLG and Emerald. No cards where released to my knowledge and there's no space in the savegame to hold the berry data due to WonderCards being stored there. There's the slim chance that they moved it to another portion of the savegame, but without e-cards we can't know without reverse enginering the rom (which I'm not capable of). 3) This one is tricky. In RS Eon Ticket event used Mystery Event option to get it. In those games, a script is stored in the savegame AND the data for record mixing it is also stored in the save. When you talk with your dad at petalburg it gets executed, giving you the Eon ticket item and enabling the flags for the events, then the script gets erased from the save (so everything returns to normal). Since emerald was released after RS and the Eon ticket for them was made, they put the Eon Ticket event script in-game. In japan, the oficial event was still carried out via Mystery Event, but instead of sending the script and record mixing data, it enabled the flag (only one!) in the save for the in-game event and stored the record mixing data. In the official emerald event, you get handed out the ticket by the man in blue at the pokémon center (this is the in-game event). The ticket events are scripted in a way that if one of the flags for the actual event or the item are already in the save they won't trigger again. This for example is what makes that if you hacked in (or used a glitch) to get the Eon Ticket item the event won't be enabled (if I recall properly). Enabling the unofficial Eon Ticket event would yield the same results as mixing records because that button won't inject the data needed for sharing an object via mix records (you can check this yourself via extracting the mystery event from the save and opening it in the editor). There will be one difference: a flag that should only be possible to be enabled in the japanese version of the game will be enabled. If you want an alternate method to get the eon ticket in emerald without mixing records that yields the same result, the easiest (and flashiest) way would be to get the rom script for the in-game eon ticket event and convert it into a wondercard, since wondercards can be tossed and shared, that would be the best way and would also feel like doing the event instead of just enabling the flags and giving the item via save editing. 4) For the TGC, we have the emerald counterpart and the WC text is different. For the Rocks america one we don't know if the text was different, it might have just been the standard "Mystic Ticket" we already have (the same card was distributed in Pokemon Center New York and Mexico, Rocks America might or might not have different text). The events themselves are the very same, so it doesn't really make a difference in-game. Would still be nice to have all the variants available though.

  14. @No.one when possible, do not double post. instead edit it into your original post. also be patient and wait for a response @suloku there's some intriguing questions for you here. Feel free to add on or correct me, when necessary. In any case, I'll try to answer to the best of my abilities. 1. since the file says e-card, I'll say the mystery gift was dumped after scanning the e-card dot code. the e-card dot code actually exists out there, can even be used on emulators. 2. I would assume the berry cards were never truly released for those games, hence why the program cannot do it? (I feel like this is a bulbapedia-able fact) 3. If I recall, Emerald can only get Eon Ticket by mixing records with RS. That's how it was programmed in the games (I think) 4. I'm not sure about this.

Hello readers! Here is another file by me for rom hacking. It is a hybrid Parody of the Windows 8 Internet Explorer logo and the GBA e-Reader logo. As both things died out with a bad reputation, and are significantly different from this, I did no wrong. I also used a Public Domain Wikipedia version of Internet Explorer's Metro Logo, which I modded in GNU Inkscape with 2 simple polygons, (a circle and rectangle,) so as to resemble both logos as an allusion to the Mobile System GB, which had webmail ability. I feel that this makes a perfect joke, and I colored it to black to avoid robots falsely flagging it as copyrighted, when I made it using PD resources to resemble abandoned tech, therefore resulting in no legal trouble. It is in SVG vector format at 256x256, so it will need to be rasterized and recolored to blue to work in a hack before resizing. It cannot go as small as the original, but it is still able to go down to 32 or 64x instead of 16x. It also works at 1bpp, so use as you wish. I offer it as Public Domain under Creative Commons CC-0 PD Dedication. Use it for making distro cards, custom pokedex cards, DS homebrew for Lites with E-readers, and Gamecube Homebrew with anything you want on the cards. This will disclaim it from a real card due to its shape.
  16. The save uploaded one is just a proof of concept, (especially with fix94's tool), but the Region spoofer has potentially game breaking glitches or crashes with battling, (due to different offsets?). I do not know if it affects GC or GBA battles, but I assume gba ones are. Hex editing may fix it. While we have been able to mod the Jirachi disc to send to us/JP Kanto games, this may help with the Celebi disc, as we can use the unused American Agate Celebi and Colos pikachu for the original event's first Celebi, and mod the gba event with Colbtl.bin. This may end up being able to fix battles if we hex it right. Who knows, we may be able to use this to allow Japanese Colosseum e-reader cards from HaxAras to load on US saves, and to possibly load the unreleased cards. If all shadow e-card Pokémon are purified, it may even add to the Celebi count. We also have no clue if gba Celebi are shiny locked, and this would help test it. Same goes for the e-cards, with the help of Ralf@gc-forever, we can make the first Celebi infinite, and change it out for other events to help research it or yank PKM files from Ralf codes. We can also make tools to turn 3gpkm/pk3 files into those codes. With Ralf codes, we can crack the algorithm Celebi is distributed with to see if we can find a similar exploit to Jirachi. We can even load the code via colosseum itself using fix94's PokeLoad exploit. In addition, the save file in the "pika-sav.zip" file called "RubyDe.sav" has a fresh, untouched, Still-in-Gen3 Channel Jirachi from Germany in it. Please send it to RoC. hopefully this helps. St. GIGA
  17. Hey all! I thought I'd share something really cool and that is... Legal PokeDex and Bag inventory hex codes! That's right! I've been working on this on the side since the PGL banning took effect, and have been researching what is out and what isn't. If you know if something is released or not that I haven't included in the Dex or inventory, do post about it. If you haven't noticed, I've not included some past gen Pokemon: mainly Mythical Pokemon with Chinese entries as it's a newly added language this gen and those Pokemon would need to be released as an event. !USE THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK AS GAME FREAK AND NINTENDO MAY NOT UP TO DATE WITH WHAT IS RELEASED THEMSELVES! Simple Instructions 1) First off download a hex editing tool, I recommend HxD as it's user friendly and advanced. You can download it by clicking here. Note: If you have a Mac, try running it in Wine or use Hex Fiend. (Won't be able to properly assist you if this is your setup.) 2) Open your save file (the main file) in the hex editor. 3) Press Ctrl+E. 4) Enter the following values for the Start-Offset and End-Offset listed for your desired option and press OK. (eg. Enter 2A88 for Start-Offset and 32E7 for End-Offset if you want the legal PokeDex for SM, or 2C88 for Start-Offset and 34E7 for End-Offset for the legal PokeDex in USUM,) 5) Highlight the entire block of values under the spoiler tag of your desired option and copy it. 6) Go back into the hex editor, Right-Click on the highlighted area and select Paste Write. 7) Save the file by going into File then hit Save or just press Ctrl+S. Open your save file you just hex edited in PKHeX and save it over the file you just created. (This will correct the checksum, which will allow you import your save that's been hex edited without any corruption.) 9) That's it! Just re-import your save back to your game with your 3DS save tool of choice and enjoy!
  18. It'll probably interest you @suloku it's a proto e-card from the German debug, I extracted it thanks to your tool. The Pokemon have nothing special (it's sad). Test.ect

  21. Well the 19-P002 card was dumped and is out there. The problem is it will not work on emulators. The mechanics of Emerald and FRLG e-Cards is different from those of Ruby/Sapphire and neither No$GBA nor VBA are handling this correctly.
  22. A way to get it or emulate it. I know you got it in Corocoro 11/2004 and his team (here) but the e-card was never scanned.
