Does anyone know how can we view a .pk8 file in code format similar to what is in the batch editor, such as met_location, version, etc. So that we can just create them in gen 8 and copy the codes over to batch editor in gen 7. I tried to open it with notepad and other software, but it doesnt work.

Thanks for doing this! I have a few questions though. I tried doing the same thing, but for some reason, everytime i try to mass transfer and save on my pokebank. It will crash with the same black screen. I tried to batch edit to create new copy of the 3 gen 8 starters. But the crash still happen. After trial and error, i found out that if i only have 1 species of gen 8 pokemon, even if it is a boxful of the same pokemon. I can transfer successfully. So I am thinking that it is my ultra moon that crashed rather than pokebank? However, i can never get sobble to work. No matter how many time i recreate a different sobbles, it always crashes. So i am wondering, is it the problem with the species itself? Did anyone successfully transferred a sobble? I tried grooky, scorbunny, cufant, meltan and melmetal and they all worked. Although i cant drag the meltan and melmetal pk7 file into my save. I tried doing galar slowpoke too. And it works. Just need to change the alternate form value to 1.
