Can't lay my hands in it right now, but from memory I seem to recall the adapter software reporting 4mb saves (even though it dumps the correct size). What does this indicate?

I am using the latest firmware :-)

All my saves (I have a few) happily open in Pokegen, but after restoring ANY save to the cart, even a completely clean, untouched one, results in the game acting as if there's no save file present.

Hi all, I've been using an NDS Adapter Plus to backup & restore saves on my copy of Soul Silver for quite some time, and all of a sudden, after restoring the file, all I get when I turn on the game is the new game screen, as if there was no save on there at all. Any idea what might be at fault here? The Adapter or the cart? I can edit the .sav fine in pokegen - I'm scared to try a backup/restore with my Platinum cart in case some sort of damage has been caused.

I would just use my ROM + R4 but that doesn't give me any PokeWalker support....the save file itself works fine with the ROM though.

Any input would be very much appreciated.

Hi all, just a quick question really; I've loaded the pgt & pct files for the Members Card into my mystery gift edit, and I receive the item ok from the guy in the mart, but I can't actually get in to the Canalave inn...pretty sure I've done it right as I managed to get the Michina Arceus shortly beforehand. Any ideas?

Events have to be manually updated. Also, legit.exe assumes the user isn't an idiot and won't be checking stuff that they already know the legality of.

This gets asked every single time an event comes out and people act like they found something wrong with the program. Nope, it's just that it has to be manually updated for events.

So the lesson? Don't check stuff that you already know the legality of. If you received the Wonder card and got the pokemon legally via mystery gift/delivery guy, you KNOW it's perfectly legal.

As I said before, I only asked because that particular event was quite a while ago now and thought perhaps legal.exe would have been updated in the time since. Furthermore, while I don't necessarily question the legality/integrity of the files I downloaded from this forum, what I DID question was the way in which I used them- perhaps I needed to change something or had otherwise used the files/program incorrectly, thus giving me the 'Hacked' result. I wasn't being critical of the the program in any way. Whatever the case, I fail to see a need to imply that I'm an idiot.

Hi all, I'm having a problem whereby after importing the Movie Arceus English (EU) .pcd & .pgt files, and managing to recieve the beast from the dude in the Mart, legal .exe is showing it as hacked or unknown after exporting it as a .pkm from my active team. This doesn't really make much sense to me, and I was wondering if anyone else had this problem? Have attached the .pkm, totally untouched since picking it up from the Poke Mart.

On the other hand, a Pokemon traded to Platinum from SS will show as from 'Faraway Place'- should it not say the same in Soul Silver, or does it retain the Route 209 info because it's a more recent game?

PID also been fixed, legal.exe is showing as Common NDS (A-B-C-D) Sync: Valid - I'll assume this is right.

Hi all, seem to have a bit of a weird one and I'm wondering if this if something to do with my minimal progression through SS; basically I've put an Onix for trade on the GTS in SS, wanting a Growlithe of any gender/level in return. In Plat, I put a Growlithe for trade, wanting an Onix of any gender/level in return, but for some reason they don't see eachother either when I do a seek or just offer it. Is there any reason for this?

You're right, not really sure what happened there, will change the hometown to Platinum. What about trash bytes? Will admit to not exactly knowing how they work- do they check out as far as you can see?

Nope, it was created for Platinum...what led you to believe Diamond? Is something wrong elsewhere?

Hi all, ok so I know there's no way to directly edit scores in pokesav platinum (yet) but I was wondering if anyone else experienced a problem whereby after editing the save and putting it back in the cart their score had maxed itself out to something silly like 99999999999?

Is there any way to avoid this?

What is it you're actually trying to do which makes you think the ENG version doesn't work?

My fresh, untouched .sav from my UK retail Platinum.

-- Just for anyone who is wondering what this is about, basically this is a fresh exported .sav from my UK retail platinum. What I'm after is for Mushen to convert the file as necessary, edit it in Pokesav (something small, maybe adding a couple of event pokemon to my team), converting it back so it's ready to be copied to my game and upload it so I can see if it works, I'm trying to track down the source of a problem.

If anyone else is willing/able to help it would also be much appreciated.

-- edit. For anyone that does attempt this, when you're looking at it in Pokesav, could you check my storage for pokemon which are there but arent- they're editable but have no names and ridiculous dates.
