How are you all actually getting into Homebrew with 11.6 to be able to use PkHex? I just bought OOT + PowerSave and it seems that way is impossible now? How are you all getting save manager then able to use PkHex? I used Soundhax back in 11.2 when I played Sun but that no longer works in 11.6
Because Homebrew Launcher is kind of a key. Having it allows you to do more with your console, like installing FBI, Luma and that stuff which allows you to have a permanent access to Homebrew itself and other kind of stuff. There are many ways to acces to HL but now there are no primary exploits for 11.5 and higher updates. If you have a 11.4 or less, you still can access to HL by using soundhax.

Some of them do have relearn moves, it depends on the Species.

Oh lol, so Pkhex is that accurate? Omg. Thanks for solving my doubt ^^!

Well, I always love to test Pkhex features and again I tried to emulate the Bank function from Gen2 => Gen7.
This Happened:
1. Opened a Pokémon Silver save file (RoC's one):
Spoiler2. Opened a USUM save file (I already transfered this Lugia with the 21/11 version that I compiled myself):
Spoiler3. I tried to pass the Lugia again from Gen2 (Silver) => Gen 7 (USUM). This happened:
SpoilerI know that before this release. Pkhex automatically set the Origin Game to Silver because there is actually no difference, but since Pokémon Cristal is not officially released in VC. I don't know if this can cause too much problems. Just wanted to know if this intended or not.

I was about to compilate it myself and this appeared. Thanks for your effort c:

Apparently Gladion does appear for Title Defense, though it is apparently a very rare chance. Serebii confirms Gladion is a challenger. I had also read you need to beat Lusamine in a Title Defense and win 10 rounds with Lillie as a Battle Tree partner, both before you can face Gladion. However I don't know how accurate this is, so don't quote it as fact.
OMG! I saw that on serebii. So this confirms that you need to beat Gladion to unlock Mohn's story. Thank you! Gonna try to win 10 times with Lillie, since I've already beaten Lusamine and Gladion didn't appear after 50 SR XD

I'm fairly sure that's Expert or Master (I don't rightly recall the name off-hand). But there's 2 Ribbons a Pokémon can get in the Battle Tree. The one for clearing the 20th battle in the Normal set, and the one for clearing the 50th battle in the Super set.
Since there are two ribbons from Battle Tree in Pkhex: "Battle Tree Great" and "Battle Tree Master" in PkHex, Im assuming the Great one is for winning 20 in the normal category.
Then it needs to be fixed xD. But it's because in SM, Battle Tree rules were lvl 50 + Restricted Mons and now they turned to lvl 100 + special Pokémon allowed. This need to be updated in Pkhex then.

When I get corrupted data file, I always open the save file with Pkhex, then I save it again and try to reimport again. You can try to delete your save file with JKSM.
USUM works perfectly with Checkpoint for me.
-
Have you "refreshed the games"?
What version of Pkhex are you using? If Pkhex reads your savedata, you can try to save it again and reimport.
-
Hello!
What you need to use Pkhex is:
-Pkhex software (can be downloaded here)
-A way to export/import your save file from the game. This can be done by using JKSM, Checkpoin (Both most recommended) or Save Manager. All of them are homebrew applications so you need an access to Homebrew Launcher.
-
Hope this works. Tell me if it's functional ^^

Ah! I thought that the Battle Tree Great Ribbon only could be obtainable by beating Red/Blue in the 50th battle (Super)
But It's true that you can take legendaries in normal mode since they changed the restrictions.

It also happens with Solgaleo and I'd assume any of the other Pokémon that were previously banned for it like Mewtwo, Rayquaza and the others.
But can Necrozma get a Battle Tree Great Ribbon? Isnt it a banned Pokémon for the tree?

Let me explain you. If you use 171117 Pkhex version, and try to emulate the PokéTransfer process, this will happen:
SpoilerHowever, when you use this pk7 file with a newer build of Pkhex (21117 is the one Im using), this happens:
SpoilerYou need to change that to "the Johto region" without the (-). That is fixed in newer builds of the program and they will be fine in the next release. It happened to me and now I can freely trade Lugia, Ho-Oh and the doggos.

Your Snubbul is marked as legal in the latest build (21/11/17). So it's fixed for the next release ^^

Since this thread is already up I guess I'll use this.
A Slowpoke I got from Poke Pelago shows up as illegal in PKHeX and Ash-Greninja will show up as legal if its origin game is Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon in PKHeX but you'll be unable to enter Battle Spot with it. So you have to change its origin game to Sun or Moon for it to be considered legal for Battle Spot. Also the Battle Tree Great Ribbon makes Necrozma show up as illegal in PKHeX.
Poké Pelago encounters are fixed in the build Im using (11/21).

then it's server block. not uncommon for them to be slow lol
After using pkhex again, I found that with the fix, there are now 2 Johto Regions (The previous one is now "Johto Region (-) and its flagged as ilegal). I've changed them to the new one and they can pass through Link trade and Wonder Trade now ^^

Unfortunaly i don'ìt have the non edit save file anymore, but i can try to give to them one level in game, so the exp will "reset" to a more natural number
If you are using pkhex and the backups are activated, you may have a backup and can use the pk files from there.
I'd try to do this:
-Catch something in game. Clone it. Edit the EXP in one and do not edit the other one.
-Try to send them to USUM through transfer and see how it works.
-
Have you tried to pass them without changing the EXP? Just for testing purposes XD

I'm assuming these are online trades?
(not offline quick link)
Yep, Link Trade and Wonder Trade.

If you try to trade the legendaries from Johto between to USUM games, you can't. They say "there is a problem with your Pokémon"

were they imported from Gold or Silver?
(Transporter sets the origin game from the game it was imported from, not the game it was caught in)
So the problem is Gold and Silver ID recognition? that makes sense.Im using RoC's Gold save file.
So they got imported from Pokémon Gold. As you can see, they are not legal in Gold (because of the location issue). But when transferred, they automatically change the OG to Silver and become legal. I've tried to do so whit other Pokémon and it's the same.

What about the file I uploaded, what does it look like when you import that?
So far you're showing Pokemon from Silver, and my that Zubat is from Gold. It's weird. But they actually came from Gold. It looks like Pkhex automatically change the Origin Game to Silver. It also did it when I imported your Celebi File. Im using RoC's Gold File and this is what happens. Exactly the same but they become legal and OG change to Silver when transferred.
Some legality Questions
in Pokémon Legality
Posted
1) If you do it correctly, you don't have nothing to be afraid of. But imo it's always better modifying an existing one rather than creating one from 0.
2) Yep, Pkhex do that. If it's a tradeable you can just put the file in your game and use it normally (If it's legal, of course).
3) Yep, it's possible.
4) Yep, if they are tradeable Pokémon, you can get them by just putting the pk files.
5) Pkhex simulates the Transfer process, you can always check if the data is correct after just dragging your files.
6) Yep, you can get them via VC so there are some moves that are legal if the Pokémon has come from those games.
7) From Gen VI onwards, It doesnt matter the country where you are, you can choose any language you want, so a Pokémon can be from Japan and have it's name in English. You can do that to the Pokémon, but the Sub region and region should match.
8) I think it refers to the meeting of the OT and the Pokémon but Transferred Pokémon via Pokébank from older generations have their "Met Date" modified when transferred.
9) Pkhex keeps updating it's legality date. It has a legality check that is always helpful to get a legal Pokémon and tells you what is wrong if its marked as illegal.
