Every time I try to use the extractor, it keeps saying that data transfered has failed.

Hi there, I've been unsucessful in making this work

error message: "data transfer failed, please do over again"

configuration:

*ds lite

*Action replay dsi (microsd with firmware patch)

*gbabackuptool 0.21 (dldi patched to datel games n music and datel games n music v2)

Would I need homebrew for Gen 1 games, something like save_manager to extract the save file? And what about gen 3 games like RSE, are they for ROMs only or I have to buy something for the GBA system? Last but not least, what about gen 4-5?
