  1. For now I'm interested on the bases, then restore the save/continue, healing/pc and KO functions. You're still looking into?
  2. If there are the eggs, I think that there is also a function to breed, even if isn't accessible yet. Or should be implemented to discovery if there were different rules about legendaries breeding.
  3. Then theorically you could breed a Mewtwo or Mew egg? And maybe if Mewtwo and Ditto are the parents from the egg could hatch Mew?

  5. However if you find a way to help me to faint and back to the last healing place (like the house in this case) and restore save/continue menu or the PC and the healing in the centers I'll thank you.
  6. I tried an ice cave, the ruins and a strange long cave that maybe was the slowpoke well, I didn't tried the plant 'cause I forgot to force the grass tile, but I think there isn't nothing not even into it, don't have warps like the other unused maps.
  7. I tried to discover if there is wild data in the caves, and also forcing the tiles to became grass encounter tiles, you can't find nothing. Caves and other hidden building don't have not even the warps, I think is normal that don't have not even the wild data.
  8. Only if the wild data is present. About the disassembly isn't complete, as example you can't find the restored rival event texts.
  9. Ok. Now I want to erase all the demo limitations and then maybe translate it (but I wait the disassembly to do this) and thinking about make it a complete game, will be nice.

  11. I don't know that method, but with the mod I did the white floor around the trees become grass wild data area. And however you are entered with another tileset, you have to enter in an house near to the route to refresh it, exit and then back to the forest, my hack works only with the original tileset with the strange trees that you can see in the first photo you passed me.
  12. Mhhh... Try also the next 4 bytes, the at the 0x20C08, I overwrited also them, I thought were the first, but maybe I was wrong.
  13. Oh, I found a Snubbul in that area. My local time is 22.45, then the night. And Donphan don't freeze the game longer, maybe the first time was 'cause my party was fainted, I'm trying experiments in the rom and for now I have the rom without the end of the demo but you can continue to walk also if you have the totally fainted party.
  14. You maybe know where is the script pointer to the personal computer (in the debug mode you can use the PC in your room like a PC in the centers) to use the same in the centers? Or maybe if there is a script to heal the pokémons without use the debug menu? I want also to save and continue, in debug mode you can save but there isn't a way to continue...
  15. Ok I found a way to force appearing pokémon, the white floor became wild life tiles. I found a level 22 Doduo, Level 22 Sandslash, 21 Sandshrew, and a Donphan that make the game to crash. If you want to try you just can open the rom with an hex editor and type "18181818" at the 0x20C04 offset, 0x18 is the value for the grass encounters. However you can't help me with the research to delete the last DEMO limitations please? XD

  18. this gameshark code don't work for me, which emulator are you using? However can I have an image of the map you're talking? If I recognize it maybe I can fix the tiles to force grass encounters.

I have a patch to fix the tiles to find wild pokémons in the "fake" grass, but I want to delete all the demo limitations, I fixed the evolutions and also the hidden rival event when you choose your first pokémon, but I want also to use the PC in the pokémon center and ask to the nurse to heal my party, I found a way to avoid the end of the demo with the rival after the forest, but also if I found a way to avoid the restart of the game after a loose I don't know how heal the team and back in the latest healing place. I have only discovered this: If you overrite the red "CD" value with the end "C9" after a loose you remain in the game, but with the fainted party and you can't fight longer, however after the rival battle you're healed and don't close the demo longer. Should faint all the party, fade out and back to the last center or in your bedroom with the half money and the healed party. Instead this is the nurse dialogue script (I think) however is certainly related: This instead is related to the DEBUG healing menu, point to the text: In debug mode in your room the PC is the same of the pokémon centers... Then there is a way to point the pokémon centers to the same script? I would also restore the SAVE/CONTINUE menu...   21. Solved, was a routine called "IsApokemon" the problem, thanks to Sanqui from Jul.
  22. Hi. I found the pointer for at least one ????? (The Gold, Silver, Crystal MISSINGN°.) before the egg, then the 0xFC MissingN°., I attach a demo image, is taken from Crystal (But the issue is in all three roms): The green is the Celebi frontpic pointer, the red are very probably the N° 252 "?????" front and backpic, in cyan you can see the Egg frontpic pointer, in black it's backpic pointer, that don't have. The problem is that also if I set a different offset instead of FFFF for ?????, the VRAM isn't updated when a battle start (then it's pic load the previous, the tileset resources instead of the pic) and not even when I call it's sprite with the poképic script. I need of fix this to recycle it to show 2 more pics for my near to end project of Kanto missing places restoration, I need for see the fossils in the museum. Can you please help me? There is something that set which index numbers could be loaded in VRAM and which cannot? As can you see if I change Celebi frontpic with the FFFF loads a corrupted pic, but load it, the same is for the egg, I can set a backpic also for it, but I can't set the pic for the ?????, again continues to keep the land tileset resource data in the VRAM instead of load the pokémon pic. There is something that could be done?
  23. Oh, ok, no problem, thanks however. However I want to tell you that these 2 balls could be moved to another bag changing their item type and don't change the limitation, then the limitation is possible also for items out of the ball bag.
  24. Please can you tell me how set an item to be un-give-able to a pokémon like Apricorn balls? In HG/SS I fixed RAGE CANDY and SLOWPOKE TAIL, but they could be given to a pokémon and could create a compatibility issue with clean roms. Currently Park Ball and Sport Ball can't be given to a pokémon, but normally you can't obtain them in your bag. Then there is a way to replace them in the banned give list or a way to add RAGE CANDY BAR and SLOWPOKE TAIL?
