Platinum is a lot better. There's a better variety of Pokémon available from the start, a bigger storyline and more post-game stuff, like the Battle Frontier. It's also more of a challenge than Diamond/Pearl. The gym leaders/Elite Four are higher levelled and have different Pokémon than in the other two games.

You then save YOUR game play onto the SD card, and then take it out and put it in your computer, and using windows explorer, replace your game file with the one you downloaded.

Im convinced powersave only operates on the DS program, but not for 3DS games. For Powersaves pro, their for a tiny choice of 3ds games
