Thats what I using. PKHex didn't load at all. I just get a window pop up that says "mono quit unexpectedly"

I tried to open it in Mono via terminal commands because I didn't see an an option under "Right Click > Open With..."

I do not know if I missing something or doing something wrong. I have both wine and mono.

Do you need USUM support? If not, then use the application without launching with mono. It's namely an .app file, and not an .EXE (at least that's what I think)

    Hi,

I have used PKHeX many time before with my SUN/MOON savefile, and never got any problem with it.
But now, with USUM out, I wanted to use the last release to modify my savefile, but I can't launch it anymore.
I downloaded the last version available here and got the same problem.

    I have Windows 10.
I have all the required .net framework and beyond (4.7.1).
I have already uninstalled/installed again the .net framework.
I have already tried some other releases, didn't work.
I have the right file in the folder (PKHeX.Core.dll with the PKHeX.exe).
    I don't have a user.config file in my Appdata/Local folder.

When the PKHeX.exe.config is in the folder:

Here's the first error (when I hit yes):

I don't know what to do to fix this.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Are you using the official release from 17 October 2017? If so download the pre-release version from https://teamcity.projectpokemon.org/login.html
Choose "login as guest", and then go to Save Editors -> PKHeX; choose the latest Windows build, by clicking on artifacts, and then pick the zip with the exe and DLLs.

This is a direct link: https://teamcity.projectpokemon.org/viewLog.html?buildId=16473&tab=artifacts&buildTypeId=PKHeX_BuildWindows

Just login as guest, and choose the correct zip. Also be sure to make backups, just in case, because it's unstable it can possibly corrupt your save.

This might seem out of left field, but is it at all a possibility to adapt the clothing and hairstyles from X and Y into USUM? I wasn't particularly fond of Sun and Moon's clothing options and I'm concerned it'll be an issue again.

I don't think it's possible due to the fact how the overworld models and the files work.

Just removing saves ingame or manually somewhere? And if the latter, where would I do this?

    Screenshot_1188.png

You're Dutch or Flemish I see... Back on topic, be sure to have a current JKSV version. This QR:
     56217-d58420bc8cca7cd2fe28299ce60473e7.jpg.d69606ebebd6f47c9e2aa33eed4c5c17.jpg downloads from https://www.dropbox.com/s/9bl56qpwx949kah/JKSM.cia?dl=0
Use it with FBI. Anyhow, if your JKSV is really outdated, which is possible, means the Secure Value isn't automatically erased. This version does erase it. It should also have the possibility to delete the save on the game using it. Delete the save, and directly after it reinject. If extra explanation is needed I can screenshot it.

It happened to me a couple of times.

I have PkHex autobackup enabled, so I have a backup of my save file, but...

    What I do:

    1. Open Pkhex again to be sure that it still reads the save file. Save the 'main' again in the same folder if does.

    2. Inject it again in the game.

    3. It usually works. But if your save file can't be read by pkhex, you can always use your backup data to import it again.

    Could work as well.

  6. 3 minutes ago, Glazelf said:

I tried deleting my save using the maingame and then injecting an older backup. JKSV is not giving me that option.

I'm not sure what the difference would be, but I could try, is it because I'm using an outdated version of JKSV or something?

There should be an option to delete the save in JKSV, use that. Then after deleting import an older save using JKSV, and report back what it shows.

Hey there, after uh editing some minor things in my Pokémon Moon save file, just moves on one of my Pokémon, and my save data got corrupted.
I have edited my save before, but nothing got corrupted
I can still open it in PkHex and I can still create a new save.

    Things I've tried that didnt work;
    -Exporting and reimporting my save
-Restarting my game and then importing my save
    -Using a working backup

Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

I added in my save file in case anyone wants to take a look or see if it isnt corrupted for them, if it isnt, please still supply advice on what to do.

Did you try deleting your save using JKSV and injecting an older backup?

  8. Found the hair location in the ROM itself. For the female trainer hair is in romfs:/a/2/1/5
In romfs:/a/2/1/X* are the female 3D clothing/hair files.
For the male trainer hair is in romfs:/a/2/0/3
The other clothing items are for the male trainer in romfs:/a/2/0/X*

EDIT: Clothes also appear to be somewhere in romfs:/a/1/8/X* for eg male clothes.
EDIT 2: I'm still looking into more details of the clothes location. Gotta write it up.
    EDIT 3: Located female's clothes in romfs:/a/1/9/X*

    *X is a number from 0 to 9

Sure, that would basically be piracy and is against the rules (and law :P). What I meant to say is that we maybe could add a section to the site that list all the Pokémon related 3DS themes (just like Bulbapedia and Serebii do), but then in a similar way as the C-Gear Skins list but without a download button. We would only post a screenshot/preview of the theme, similar to the images I posted in this thread. But then again this has been done already on other site, so it wouldn't add much.

The only thing I meant with uploading the themes itself was in correlation with the Theme Shop shutting down eventually. When this happens, it will become legally impossible to get these themes ever again. I know I am just speculation, but if this would ever occur, I was wondering if it then was oké for us to then share the theme files on this website (just the raw body_LZ.bin and the bgm.bcstm files, not a .cia). I do not intent to break any rules or something, I just want to know where you guys would stand on this if this would ever happen?

Those files are still copyrighted, because nowadays you can even copyright a string of data or numbers.

  10. 33 minutes ago, Scried said:

@Cecillia If you need a list of all the 3DS themes, you can check out these lists on Bulbapedia or Serebii. I thought about making a post where I would list all Pokémon related themes with images and such, but these list have already been made so it would be kinda pointless.

If there are any new upcoming Pokémon related 3DS themes, I guess I'll post about them here. Don't know if it is worth to create a new topic about, since the 3DS is kinda at the end of its life and I don't think we will get much more new Themes. Maybe we get a Crystal theme similar to the Gold and Silver ones or some other generic ones, but that will most likely be it.

Don't know if it is worth anything, but it could be cool to add a section about Themes to the site, similar to the C-Gear Skins. Of course you will not be able to download the theme files itself, since you have to pay for them and stuff, but maybe we could list all themes with a preview. Although, the Theme Shop will most likely go down sometime in the future and it would be a shame if these themes get lost forever. Guess that's talk for the future though. Thoughts?

The CIA files can't be dumped here according to the official rules, although custom themes could be done indeed. There are sites with dumps, although talking about those is strictly prohibited as per the rules.

How i can fix this problem, i just want hax USUM like everyone in my group :( help me pls

    - Sorry if my grammar wrong, i can write and speak little bit :( sorry guys

It's needed, because .NET framework 4.6 introduced certain functions not available in older versions. This means that the developers can do things they couldn't do before, or were harder to do. It's impossible or very hard to release a .NET framework 4.5 version. Also, if you got Windows 7 SP1 you can intstall .NET 4.6 from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53344

I thought the ID would be 171201

That's the most likely ID. Seeing as in Japan normally the years are first, then the months, and lastly the days, but I don't know if that's ever used before. I saw 10016 and that was the event Keldeo from 2016.

Edit: Marshadow's G7TID for the Japanese one is 170715, so it must be yymmdd
