@shay123 I think it would be better to contact the author of Pokeslow and ask him to fix his tool to export/import proper PK1 files. Currently the exported files are missing some important data like nickname and OT name (it's just 0x03-0x23 of a regular PK1 file).

I would suggest you to just wait until you have access to a PC again and then use PKHeX, but anyway here is the same Mew as in the above download with the mentioned data removed.

Umm the pkm file you gave me worked but it has the wrong OT it should be GF instead of Yoshirb

Sounds like what you're using is an unsupported file type.

Try exporting a pokemon from your VC game, and try to hexedit it or something.

How do I do that? I dont have access to a computer for a few months

Plus I tried with another pkm file from the guy who created it and it worked but was 33bytes so i was thinking that was the correct size for it.

pkm file that's 33bytes? what game is that meant to be for?

Im trying to use an application for 3ds called pokeslow which edits VC Gen 1 games pokemon. Theres a feature where you can import pkm files and I tried using the pk1 file here and renaming it but it wont work. Thats why I need a proper pkm file.

That counts as using significantly hacked Pokemon online, and that's against our rules.
I'll advise you to stop doing that :)

Just because it can be used online ≠ Legal.

    Here's what you can do:
    1. (I would rather you not) But if you do upload them, do mention that those files are illegal! (in bold and red)
Do you want to be responsible for getting someone else banned?
    OR

    2. Don't upload any files that are illegal

"Error" is the wrong word to use. You get the red flag on PKHeX cause your Pokemon is illegal.
There's nothing with PKHeX, so it's not an error. (Error imples PKHeX is wrong, when it isn't; it's illegal cause its a mistake on your part)

GameFreak/Nintendo/TPCi has horrible online hack checks.
People can bring all kinds of illegal nonsense online.
Despite that, they are still illegal, as they're impossible to obtain during normal gameplay.

I remember during gen 6 people would change their Rotoms forms using pkhex and powersaves so that it could have all the special moves Rotom gets. Yeah Game Freak has really rubbish hack checks.?

If I'm not mistaken, they're actually in the compiled gen VI archive.

I was comparing our on-site event gallery entries to an excel file I have, to see what I've haven't uploaded ><

Then I was looking in the wrong place for years?

Is this a Legit shiny poipole event, it was released yesterday and the event is today and pkhex is marking it as illegal...???

Aren't you meant to be a Pokemon Master?

It's an impossible creature that was available due to a glitch, and now determined to be able to be obtained legitimately. That's good enough for me.

(even if Color isnt different, it certainly sparkles!)

To my understanding, it might not even be blocked to begin with.

okay thanks for clearing that up for me. :)
