  1. When people say "PID doesn't correlate with IVs," does that mean I could edit a pre-existing Pokemon's IVs without having to change it's PID? And if so, would this apply to Pokemon carried over from Gens 3 and 4?

  2. Is the OT version (the game the Pokémon originated from) in event Pokémon the same as the game receiving the event? For example, if a Japanese player used copies of both Black and White to receive Nobunaga's Rayquaza, would the games of origin for those Pokemon be Black and White, respectively?

  3. Those files could not be re-inserted into the game at the first place. (no evidence seems to show that it could be done)

You're forgetting that Xfr and Bond were able to re-insert that Gible as soon as they could get the file out of the game. They simply never revealed how to do it.

Regardless of our current abilities, I don't think it's time to give up.

  4. Have you DLDI patched the .nds?

    Patchers can be found at:

    http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/

and the appropriate patch is at:

    http://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/other-files/download-datel-games-n-music-dldi-2-f704.html

I personally have trouble with microSDs larger than 2GB with the v1 patch; haven't tried the v2 patch.

And it is for the Action Replay DSi even though it says Games 'n Music (same company).

I'll take a look at this patch really quickly...

EDIT: Still nothing. Crashes every time.

  5. Duh.

    Yet to be known.

Is a new encryption code generated for each trade (much like the save system) or is there one universal code used again and again? I would assume the latter, unless of course the randomly generated decryption code is sent along with each trade...

  6. GTS Pokemon appear like any other Pokemon you would encounter in game. There's no alteration done when trading on the GTS.

So basically I create a Pokénon like normal, but with a different OT?
