  1. Can I request codes involving Safari Zone for the Japanese versions of HGSS?

Especially the "All Safari Blocks" & "Max Level Safari Blocks".

I think I remembered using those codes for JPN HGSS last 2012, but I dunno how I got them since it was years ago. When checking the latest usrcheat.dat, it still doesn't have the Safari Codes for Japanese HGSS. It seems all languages have codes for Safari Zones, except Japanese :(

Been searching in Google, but no luck.

  2. Anyway, Smea already stated in Twitter... "it looks like browserhax is being gradually blocked on old firmware versions. i'd urge people w/ no other hax to install themehax ASAP"

So try to get/re-install themehax asap, whether 2.1 or 2.5 (if it doesn't crash after turning your 2DS/3DS to sleep mode, it should be 2.5).

I might probably not update unless all hax are blocked even without updating, or until my PokeBank expires on March 23 next year otherwise :P

EDIT: There's also a tutorial on gbatemp about installing 2.5 or 2.1 Themehax --> https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-how-to-install-2-5-on-themehax-manually.400784/

  3. Tried to re-install Themehax by choosing another theme to uninstall it, & trying to reinstall it via Browserhax, so I can access Homebrew e-Shop (does it only have eShop XML & eShop.smdh but no eShop.3dsx?)

... but when trying to reinstall Themehax, I always get this message:

"Invalid HTTP content-size 0x0000a468. Failed to download the actual payload with HTTP: 0xfffffffd.

    Install failed: 0xfffffffd.

Press the START button to exit."

    Why is this? :(

EDIT: Still the same even if I get the latest Themehax installer & boot.3dsx files.

EDIT 2 : Solved... I just got the offline themehax installer.

  4. I think even with a retail version of OoT, you can use it to access the Homebrew Channel, then exchange for other retail cart to use with Save Manager, as an example. It's the same with Cubic Ninja (only Japan had a digital version of this game).

The only advantage of the digital version is the convenience of not having to keep switching game cards, in the end.

Ahh I see. Kinda thought previously that you're unable to edit retail carts if you only have retail OoT ^^

  5. How about a suggestion for the future KeySav version? Like something that displays pokeball sprites in reddit.

In reddit, the code to display the pokeball sprite is [](/pokeball), or if it's Dream Ball then it's [](/dreamball), etc...

In KeySav however, the name of the ball always has a space between the ball type and the word "ball", and it would be tiring to erase that single space one-by-one lol when posted in reddit.

So my suggestion is to have a 2nd "reddit theme" in KeySav that also displays the pokeball sprites, or something to remove the space to make displaying sprites in reddit easier.

  6. Uh.. So... "pokegen on 3ds" means pokegen for 3ds games... Not pokegen directly on the 3ds... Did you really think I meant that or were you just being a smart alec..? Also.. brain.exe? I mean come on... if it were so simple there never would have been pokecheck or anything similar. And an even bigger reason is legality on 6th gen is fairly complex (involving memories and Kalos Born) so it's not always so simple to create a legal pokemon. Im not sure why you brought up trading... That's kind of irrelevant when it comes to genning and legality checking..

With that kind of attitude, I doubt if all the programmers here will ever help you.

    Beggars can't be choosers, I reckon :P

  7. Uhm... I said so before no o-o?

You can change the firmware version when starting youtube by tapping here

I tried to do what you told me... but instead of having a drop-down list, it just automatically goes straight to the red-blue-& black screen with some codes in white before going to the Homebrew page. So yeah pressing it even before automatically going to Homebrew does nothing :(

Do I have to delete & re-download YouTube?

I dunno if using a 9.9 Tubehax firmware while on 10.1 system firmware will back-up/restore my save files incorrectly/incompletely or something... Just paranoid I guess.

OK, now IronHax and Ninjhax can be used at 10.1.0.27 system version too :)

    - delete your current Ironhax save on Ironfall

    - download the new installer and put it on the homebrew folder on your 3DS' SD

    - Open through TubeHax, access the HomeBrew Channel, then the new installer

    - Install the new Ironhax save

    - Now you can update your system version without problems.

Nice. This should be stickied :P

BTW, how about Tubehax? How do I re-install it? (so I can re-choose the correct firmware)
