A pokemon from an event without the ribbon isn't legit/legal. All the ribbon does is prevents that pokemon from being traded in the GTS, though you can still trade it through Wireless and Wi-fi

That's a false statement. Pokémon without the ribbon (GBA events, SAIKYOU Dragonite, TRU Dragonite, Tenimura Regigigas, etc.) are still legitimate although they do not have the classic ribbon.

The theme "Site Theme" doesn't have links to Site, Forum, Wiki, Chat, etc that I can find. Those should be added.

Furthermore, I think "Site Theme" should be made the default theme instead of "Suicune Blue". It makes the site and forums seem more unified when they have the same theme.

Plus, I just can't stand Suicune Blue. There's so little contrast sometimes between the background and links that I have to strain my eyes to read them. Not a good thing to have in a default theme.

I had no idea Suicune Blue was default. It's kinda gross anyway. As for the new SoulSilver theme, it's way too light. We need to tone down the colors a bit. A lot of the borders and text can't be distinguished from the white background unless you decrease the brightness on your monitor.

yeh i did use No$GBA, does it not work for emulators?

You need to convert the save file here.

Source Format: No$GBA (.sav)

Target Format: AceKard 2 | CycloDS | etc. (.sav)

Then load the converted save file into the program.

Well, I got my DSi a few days ago and the hinge was mad squeaky whenever I closed and opened the system. In addition, the hinge was not tight and I could slide the top screen from right to left a few millimeters. So I decided to exchange the system for another one.

This new one has been fine, but it is slowly developing the "squeaky hinge". It's not like this hinge problem will cause an outbreak of broken hinges, but it is really annoying. Every time I press the "A" button on the system, it causes a squeak. After a while, it gets really frustrating to hear those damn squeaks and essentially makes me want to stop playing.

Now, my question to the other DSi users out there: Are you guys experiencing this squeakiness as well? Let me know if you are or aren't. If you have had this problem, are there any solutions? Thanks.

I hear the AK2i is the best available, but some say that it bricks out after a while, and because the DSi's firmware is updateable, Nintendo can just release a mandandory update blocking it.

The SuperCard Onei comes with a flashing device to flash the actual cart so that if Nintendo decides to release a new firmware blocking that cart, you can bypass it. Apparently the same thing is going to be released with the M3 Zeroi.

Just to let you guys know, I bought a Nintendo DSi for about $87 USD. Got a 50% discount. My friend hooked me up. Brand new and black. It's pretty sweet. I'm deciding whether I should buy a DSTTi or a AK2i. Opinions? Any other good DSi flash carts out there?

Just a quick question about the event Jirachi.

I popped it into the legality checker, and it comes up as Type: Hacked Pokemon.

Now I actually went on Wifi with my Japanese Pearl file and traded it to my US Platinum, the only thing I can think of is that the Legality Checker hasn't been updated with this event so it brings it up as a fake, can anyone confirm this?

Don't use Legality Checker with D/P/Pt events. It fails. Your Jirachi is legit.

i downloaded the .PKM files and stuff and i noticed the trainers ID's are missing 1 number

should i leave the trainer ID's the way they are or do i need to add a "0" in front?
