Do you have a dump of the files with the kanji instead of the kana? Would make translation faster. I mean, an experienced translator could read it and translate by hand (me for instance), and have it translated in weeks to month, but likely give up after a week. Or, a lazy but brilliant translator (me again) could strip out the newline and other control characters, dump it into Google translate, read and edit for a few hours with a glass of wine and a videogame soundtrack in the background, and have a 99% as good script, possibly even more accurate due to the inclusion of the kanji to clarify context.

If the file has any Kanji at all they're found in the 0001 folder, anything in there is the equivalent of a file in 0000...except in Kanji

It's legible but not quite localized/translated to something we can use, we try and avoid using machine generated translations we only use them as a reference. Also that's story related I'm not working with that right now. But at least now we know what that file is haha thanks.

The 0000 folder and 0001 are the same except the files in 0001 are in Kanji but we are working with the 0000 folder

Thanks for the contribution guys, I ask that you avoid using Google Translate to do full translations, it can be used as a reference but not to do all of the translation.

Do you think you could make a change log every time when you release a new patch?

Your patch is indeed changing the ID of the game, so.. are you sure that you are using NitroExplorer to update edited files?

With NitroExplorer, a lot of issues will be fixed. DSLazy and another programs that use that as base, changes automatically the ID, because the .nds file is rebuilded.

Also, in the file structure, which are the files edited at the moment in v3? All folder 0 files?

yeah I updated the game ids to what they have changed to in the first post, except for the Kata ones too tired to do those. Oh yeah Kata versions are up btw.

P.S.

I do use NitroExplorer only thing I did differently was Encrypt/Decrypt the AP Fixed ones withe EnDryptS so they would have the 'true' Game IDs for the DSTT users

Also, has anyone found the text file with the story line and NPC dialog? I'd love to take a crack at some of that. I'm fairly proficient in Japanese and have both online resources and many manuals here, so I believe I could do an accurate and entertaining job at translating it.

Hey first off I want to say great job on the first release of the patch. Okay now i am reporting a bug, however it is not about the translation but something else Toxic orb is bugged, it freezes the game when it gets activated. I was using a poison heal Gliscor online and the game froze, we thought it was just the wifi so we tried again, it froze again when Gliscor got his orb activated. I thought it might be something with Gliscors dream world ability (poison heal). So i started testing, tried toxic orb on my lepeord thing and it froze again. Then just to make sure i tested flame orb, however it didnt freeze. I also tested toxic orb with the original patch (not your english one with the AP) and it did not freeze when using toxic orb so just thought i would let you know im pretty sure its within your patch so if you could figure out why its doing this that would be amazing :3 Keep up the good work guys i would help but im hopeless at translating x.x

To use your old saves with this translations in this emulator try the following:

Make sure the .save file name is the same as the .nds

If it's still in Japanese, in-game go to Options and change 'Button Mode(5th option down)'

Patch Instructions:

1. Obtain a clean ROM (Dump it yourself or find it elsewhere don't ask us or anyone in here for it)
   
2. Obtain a copy of xDelta GUI (Decided to be nice and link the one I used to make the patches: http://www.mediafire.com/?b7em3n4sn7hhmtr
   
3. Open xDelta Gui
   
4. Click "Select Patch" and choose whichever patch you downloaded for your version
   
5. Now choose 'Select ROM' and navigate to the clean ROM
   
6. Now click on "Apply Patch" wait until it's done
   
7. Try it out and give some feedback?
   

Known Issues:

1. 16.txt still needs localizing but it's more bearable now

Is this just the union room fix or does it have the no exp included?

It may have been answered already but, why is "Card" translated as "Kaarl"?

It's not, that's my trainer name cause Kaarosu wouldn't fit lol

I can confirm that, on Wood RPG, it freezes when entering the Union Room, and it freezes when trying to evolve a Pokemon (I learned that the hard way, and lost 2 hours of gameplay >.>).

You should address teh latter issue quickly.

I haven't looked into this quite yet but someone told me this is one of the AP related stuff and not the translation there is supposed to be a fix of something over gbatemp so i'll look that up and see what its about. (Just got back home)

Seems to be cause everyone wants the attachment at the same time, i'll start linking stuff instead of using attachments next time

No I haven't been able to get to fixing stuff for one yet, been addressing the main issues. When there is a new patch I'll post something and update the first post to reflect it.

Alright updated the first post with more detailed instructions for DSTT users, it *should* take care of your problem. Any feedback is appreciated and thanks to ddc1 for the fix.

Well that should take care of the 'bigger' problems right now i'm going to see if i can address the other bugs now. I'll check the thread randomly and reply if needed (multitasking yay)

You left out the part were you run the file through eNDrypt. This is a necassary step. I could not get the roms to run even if I used the normal game ID. I haven't a clue why. That's just how it worked out. Otherwise, it's perfect.

Oh alright, I figured it was only needed to find out what the 'real' game IDs were but i'll add that in shortly
