We're looking for one because it's a legacy egg move and you didn't say to me that you had one. I'll get one tommorow in any way.

what I meant was what the other person wanted to complete the trade

I want a shiny Ponyta for me too ^^

I'm at a Gastly nest right now, and the place is overrun with Ponyta.
will see if I can get another one :)

I got yesterday a shiny Grimer (that I can share) but didn't get any shiny Ponyta today ? whereas I got 3 shiny Cubone.

Plus I have a clue for Stomp Kangaskhan I'll do the trade tommorrow.

I managed to get 2 shiny ponyta (one for transferring to let's go, other one for evolving and keeping), so no fear for ponyta :)

That is sweet. Even regular grimers are hard to come by
What does the stomp kangaskhan need, anything that I have? (as I previously sent you)

  4. In the mean time, on end mind, I’m having difficulties with these lines:

shiny caterpie, shiny grimer, shiny ponyta, shiny gastly, shiny marowak (alolan).

[note: gotten shiny gengar and shiny cubone]

I think I have the base form shiny for the other presently released families, and I gotten homebrew (ability to back up the saves), so the rest is good :)

Could also be that their wiki is wrong. Not sure about the card validity.

The new posts here described it as "at least sometimes can be male", which could be taken as both genders to be possible.

edit: I dug through webarchive for the event page, and it the translated page doesn't seem to mention the event's gender
    (https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=ja&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=https%3A%2F%2Fweb.archive.org%2Fweb%2F20160901090843%2Fhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.pokemon.co.jp%3A80%2Finfo%2F2014%2F11%2F141114_e01.html&edit-text=&act=url)

@Kirzi what's your experience with this event?

i used an older version for my brother and sister's and it worked fine without me having to delete secure value. which version has this as an option because i used 2016's version of JKSM for my brothers and sisters but still didn't work for mine

I agree with the premise, but if that is the case, I doubt there is anything we can do.

Alternatively, delete the save file on your game, start a new game, save, then import the save from JKSM.

  7. Typically, even tho a save isn't corrupted, if the player imports a save that is "greater than the stored save value in the nand", they will get a corrupted message in-game.

Hence, previously it was required for users to manually delete secure value.

However the newer version of JKSM supposedly automatically handles it.
If it's not that, I can't imagine what the problem would be, when PKHeX opens it fine.

Hi guys, i was wondering if anyone could help me as have modified my save data but when i restore it, my game starts up and says the save data is corrupted, i have tried using checkpoint, JKSM and and older version of it. In addition my brother and sisters games worked fine but when i tried to modify my cartridge one it corrupted? i have included the main file also. Can someone please help me find out why it keeps corrupting i don't see anything wrong with the file and it opens fine in PKHeX

    main

    1. make sure there isn't any older folders in the folder
    2. save again in PKHeX (in case there's any checksum corruption)
    3. Some save managers has a "Delete secure value" option when looking at the game. Select that option after loading the save. (tho technically checkpoint and newer JKSM should handle that automatically, but just do it, after finding a version that has it)

  9. Hell, is it required to tag me in this scenario?
Please don't beg for replies (I saw the previous post, where you asked for replies)

I don't know what to say: you flagged an issue, I acknowledged it.

Everything else you did was beyond the purview of a report. (you tried to beat the legality analysis by generating your own PIDs).

Also, please double-post. Any new information, edit it in into the previous post,
    if no one replied.

In any case, I'm locking this thread.

@Kaphotics consider adding the OT name of the egg as an edge case.

So i just got a powersave and I'm working on my living dex. Having 900 rare candies be great to have and help my progress. However, I'm afraid if I use any powersave i be banned from official tournaments or something. ? Like, is there any way for it be tracked or something?

While they don’t seem to ban ridiculous changes, their game sync function is capable of tracking differences in saves.

For example, imagine if they tracked the number of rare candies a person has. How can a person jump from 5 -> 900 rare candies, when there hasn’t been any other activity in the save?

presently, they don’t seem to track items, but that doesn’t mean they won’t in the future.

Also if your game already performed game sync, never load an old save file (basically progress can only move forward, not backwards)

no one can give you any guarantees. Use at your own risk.

    Alternative option:

do you use pokebank? You could always use a non-game synced save to transfer mons into pokebank, to be transferred to your game synced game.

in other words, only use powersaves and modifications on the non-game-synced save.
