  1. Well I guess arguing about this one would be like arguing about the difference between legit and legal.

Well, even the legality of GAMESTP Celebis might be arguable, they were never released officaly.

Sure, the distribution cart was built and leaked, but that particular Celebi got replaced, so it was never legitly distributed.

and as far as I thought, for something to be Legal, does it not have to mimic something that is Legit?

So, in that sense, there cant be Legal GAMESTP Celebis if there isnt any Legit GAMESTP Celebis.

  2. The GAMESTP ones still aren't fake, because it was possible to obtain them without cheating.

Many people did go to Gamestop and managed to get the employee there to change the date on the DS so that they could get the Celebi early.

And some employees deliberately let people download Celebi early.

I would say they simply are a less common version of the event, since much fewer people managed to get the GAMESTP one from Gamestop.

You know the odds of there being any high number of real legit occurances of that is slim to none, especialy when you factor in the leak and people being lazy.

  3. My question relates to the PIDs that these pokemon have, as far as I can tell, none of the PIDs that my legit Colo/XD pokemon have are created by the specific PID generators in Pokegen/Pokesav, ect, like, the ones that create type 1 gba/ds PIDs, ect. and whatever other data that crosses over into Gen 4/5 games.

So, I am wondering if anyone actualy knows how the Gamecube games generate the PIDs, IVs, ect, for their Pokemon, as im curious on how to Legaly build them.

I have tried to do some looking on the matter, but information on the specifics of the GCN games seems to be scarce.

  4. I tried this, and I cannot get the savegame manager .nds to work, when I load it in with my AR DSi it comes to its startup screen that says press B, I do, and then the bottom screen is blank and the top screen is stuck, it only shows the program name, version number, and author.

and I did use the DLDI file referred above.

  5. While examining my pokemon in my Plat/Diamond saves, While going through hatched gift pokes like the Riley Riolu and Cynthia Togepi, the PIDS are all type 1s, as in, they are generated like standard gifted pokemon, ect, instead of the usual rules when it comes to eggs.

I am mostly bringing this up so folks that edit/create these pokemon have some knowledge about how the Legit PIDS work, if this hasnt been brought up before.

  6. I recently got a ARDSi, so I extracted my Diamond Sav with much glee and started to examine my accumilated collection of pokemon.

I was tossing pokemon in Legal.exe out of curiosity.

I got the Mew from my Ranch, So I know its actualy completly legit, and Legal.exe spits out the Type as hacked/unknown, and My Legal.exe is the most recent version.

    The Mews PID is 1100373743

    Natures Bashful, Ivs 25/15/26/13/25/25

I also uploaded the .pkm so yall can inspect it.

( I am encountering a similar response from XD/Colo .pkms inspected by Legal.exe, they show up as unknown GBA types, which seems to indicate the GC games have a different type of PID generation.

  7. Hayleys Mew has a Diamond Version Tag on it, no hex values

At least, the Mew I got myself does, Variance might be possible between diamond and pearl because I got the mew using my Diamonds link with the Ranch, Pearl might be a hometown for ranch pokemon aquired with a peal potentialy, but thats all just theory I am thinking unless someone has reaserch on the matter.

My Gamestop DM Jirachi has a Diamond origin tag too, as do other hayley pokes and events like TRU Arceus

But thats just my preference.... /shrug

  9. My XD/Colo Pokes do have sparkle effects in Ranch, but I usualy assumed that the National Ribbon caused that effect, I wouldnt know if they are natrualy flagged for fateful or not.

And yeh, Ohai there, I can scrounge up more xD pokes from a new recent playthrough, I happen to have a spectactular Lugia with great walling nature/IVs from a little soft resetting, Although I need to do Mt Battle again <,<
