  1. Sorry, I guess my instructions were unclear. You know how when you extract it from JKSV there’s a few named files, such as main and main2? None of the file names there should be changed when you restore the save. Also, I’m asking for the main2 file to be checked. Not that you rename it to main2. To be sure, show me a screenshot of the files in that folder JKSV extracted.

  2. I would probably be sensible and restore your saves, then boot back in to OFW before going online if you wish to be extra careful. I’ve always tried to be sensible using CFW on my Sysnand. To be honest all I have ever done is boot Atmosphere with my Switch in aeroplane mode, backed up my saves with JK's Save Manager, then powered my Switch off again.

  3. When you import a file into the game, make sure it’s named main, with no other extension (I think that was the name) also, have you tried loading main2 into PKHeX?

  4. How did you extract the save from your device? How did you transfer the save from your SD card to your computer (SD transfer? FTP? USB connection?) Are you on the latest PKHeX? Are you saving in-game (as opposed to using state saves, if on emulator)

  5. This is because PKHeX exhausts all possible encounters and retains the last one it checked, which happens to be an event encounter. Transferring 3->4 disallows transferring Pokémon with HM moves. In transferring 3->4, it deletes these HM moves and tries to fix the moves. However, since you have two HM moves first, it fails to shift things down. Behavior used to work >4 years ago, but was broken in this commit: https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/commit/75202c7a89a082953ed3771bcf6d32894350cdfd Now, with the latest commit (and future release), the reorder logic will now loop to account for multiple empty slots: https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/commit/ad739f1db71a2e508808e1b2f02cb193e138e6b4
