  1. The BCAT itself can’t transfer over. once redeemed in save, that save, if all done correctly, can be transferred over. He probably screwed up EmuNand/Sysnand stuff. Once again, unrelated to this program. Like I said, the Switch doesn’t have recognition to ‘forged BCAT’. If it did, why wouldn’t it just ban everyone who does it hmm?

  2. Good point. I was thinking the same thing. Once I acquire a modible switch in the (hopefully not too distant) future, I’ll try to play around with it myself. Thank you for the reply!

  3. As someone recently asked me about @Thomson's UK Mew, the cart was unfortunately never sent my way to dump the save. They apparently didn't want to send the cart before going on holiday and pretty much vanished after that... so who knows what went on there. I'm always happy to help anyone reading this in the future who's serious dump / preserve their GB event Pokemon though, although i can't imagine many are still surviving these days.

  4. After enlisting the help of a kind internet stranger with CFW, this is what I got from cloning an alolan rattata and caterpie and applying the respective codes on separate clones. So one nice thing to note: the PIDs are different! I'm not too familiar with pokémon data, but it is interesting to me how the 3 shiny caterpies have very close PIDs. Those three were also done in one batch (server request). Edit: A next thing to test would be if the PIDs stay different across different batches. i.e. applying the shiny code to the same OGs but in a separate server request. 5. He probably transferred the wrong save to you. OFW/CFW shenanigans This has nothing to do with this tool. The Switch doesn’t ‘keep track of whether this is from a forged BCAT or not’, thus can’t decide to give you ‘stuff only obtained from a non-forged BCAT’.
