The reported issue was already fixed, but the template's OT names were swapped. The static constructor runs afterwards, fixing it. I can confirm this. @Kaphotics Yancy and Curtis OTs should be swapped. The Pokemon for male players should get the female TradeOT while the ones for female players should get the male TradeOT.

Gen 5 met data is still present in gen 8.

All of the met data is discarded and replaced during transfer to gen 5 so no it isn't stored anywhere in the Pokémon data. The only met data that doesn't get overwritten from gen 4 to 5 is when and how the egg was obtained if the Pokémon hatched from an egg.

Imagine if the Mona Lisa was privately owned and locked away in some collectors safe. "It's too valuable to be out in the public for everybody to see." I don't see how releasing these to the public isn't the best way to preserve them. We wouldn't have Suloku's tool or any of the wonder cards on this site preserved if people kept them to themselves because they're rare. That's just greed. Ebay is already full of fake carts. Go do a search for GBA carts. It's the responsibility of the buyers to look into what they're buying. Ask questions and do your own research. And to report the sellers peddling fakes and scamming people. I've reported several sellers selling fake GBA Pokemon games before. This one was my favorite.

I'll be paying serious money for any and all carts that I buy in the future as well. I don't care about the perceived value of something in somebody elses collection or the value to some seller. Information should be free and public. Any and all distribution devices I ever buy, I will be making public. The only reason I haven't dumped my DS distribution carts is because I currently do not have the means to do so. I have massive respect for Metropolis both for their Gen 1-3 conversion tool as well as their offer to dump the modified ROM. If they spent a ton of money on it and care about the value, that's their business. I'll be spending whatever it takes to get one of these ROMs and dumping it no matter what. That's been my plan since I first learned about them in 2012. The only thing I care about is preservation. If it's the real thing or a 20$ cart. I guess we will have to find out. As for making it public. I can't control what scumbags do on Ebay or uneducated people buy on that website. They should do research before buying something like that.

Welcome everyone to my attempt at a full fledged rewrite of the Explorers series of Mystery Dungeon games. It always bothered me that the protagonist just acted as a mute through most of the story, despite clearing speaking at certain points. This hack attempts to make the hero Pokemon a character in their own right, they'll have lots to say on the topics that come up in the story (for better of for worse). Now along with this, I'm also making some moderate to significant changes to how events play out as well. As I felt there were more than a few things that either could have been expanded on, or just better explained. See below my to do list. Introduce Darkrai much earlier in the story The hero's amnesia will not be permanent or as severe, they will remember more and more as time goes on A better explanation provided for why Chatot steals most of your money Reworking the lore of the time gears to explain why everybody acts like they were always meant to be in 5 different locations Providing an explanation for how tf Darkrai got into Temporal Tower Potentially creating a branching story where the hero has to chooses to go with Grovyle early before they get sucked into the future, putting them at odds with their partner. As of right now, the hack is still very much in Alpha, so while an effort has been made to ensure play-ability, do be aware that some text spacing may have slipped under my radar.
