  2. Nope, it'll lead to too many hits, hence why only before and after is strongly recommended. maybe it's tied to a conversation flag from right before you receive them. once again, before and after save

  5. I found that out when PKHeX was released, and saw that my box had Pokemon. (Messed around in the demo, caught a lot of nonsense Pokemon and saved in game)

  6. Rejoice! Here's what I did: 1. Received Pikachu from Kukui 2. Hacked in Master Balls 3. Caught 5 Pokemon, send Pikachu to "nature" (which is code for box that you don't get to see or use) 4. Complete the Trial 5. Dump the save after saving completes. [the old man only appears after trial completion, which Pikachu is collected back by then, hence why I developed a new method] Here is the rat fruit of my efforts: 025 - Pikachu - A14A00000022.pk7

  7. @theSLAYER Serebii said that due to the Global Mission being a success the Friend Ball and a Rare Candy will be given out via serial code later in the month. The third Pokémon Sun & Moon Global Mission has finished in success. This Global Mission's theme was trading Pokémon through the Pokémon Global Trade Station and 4,107,702 were traded. As it was a success, the gift of 2,000 FC, or 4,000 FC if the game is connected to the Global Link, is now available. Distribution of the Friend Ball and Rare Candy event is forthcoming later this month and will be given through Serial Code on the Global Link.

  8. I have photo proof the source supplied to prove the legitimacy to me, they just don't want me sharing the photos. HaxAras knows them too, so take his word as well in the post above me.

  9. I can't share the Source either but I can confirm with one hundred percent certainty that they are legitimate.

  10. Attention! Via some methods found on /r/pokemonrng, I have been able to cut down the time needed to get a shiny flawless 6iv Faraway Island Mew from 5 weeks to one day using VBA and Battle videos. My newest post has the save file needed for RNG'ing the mew. Based on this info, for legality testing I created a 3gpkm of a special 6x flawless 31iv Shiny Timid Faraway island mew, with the OT data set to the PokePakku Mew's OT Profile, but with the Secret ID set to 31337. Hopefully this can be legality checked to improve your checkers. Thanks, and have fun! LegalShinyPokepakkuRemakeMew.3gpkm

  13. I've got no clue, let me check it out. EDIT: Using Batch editor, if you set it to 1, all the Pokemon becomes yours. (as in you become the Latest (not OT) Handler, hence its working!) if you have issues, post screenshots of all the tabs (on the left) regarding the Pokeomn data.

  15. Hi guys, I own myself a Retrode 2 but unfortunately, the GBX plugin was not available anymore. Since more than a week ago, they are back in stock and I have ordered and received one unit. Result is great ! I tested on Win 7, everything is plug and play. The cartridge content appears as an ordinary mass drive. I can just copy the rom and sav to my computer. I tried to edit the save with Pikasav. I worked. I just had to select "forced sav". Hope this might be interesting for some of you. https://www.dragonbox.de/en/71-retrode-2-retrode-4260416650091.html https://www.dragonbox.de/en/135-retrode2-gbx-plugin-retrode.html I'll then sell my Mega Memory Card and my Game Boy usb 64m smart card.:-)

  16. So, I can't find the time to make the post with the mews I wanted to make (my priority was getting the info, not getting anything new unfortunately), so I'm uploading this save with the info for now, as I've been requested it and there's no reason to keep it (I was waiting until I made the big post, but it's been over a month and still not the time for it). The save attached to this post contains a Mew owned by Cirellio, who I found over at nintendoage forums. He worked at Toys R Us at Peoria (US) during Christmas holiday season in 1999 and was in charge of Mew distribution for that Toys R US. Unlike other distributions made with Mew machine, this one was made via direct trade with a gameboy such as this one: He also traded one to his own game, and fortunately enough, he was able to dump the savegame after all this years. What's more interesting about this distribution is the question "were those direct trade Mews also clones with the same DV values as the Mew machines?". The answer is yes, even before the Mew machines were used DVs were already fixed. The only Mew that might have scaped this would be the NINTEN Mew distributed via Nintendo Power, the very first USA distribution. I've read a very old post form an user claiming that these direct trade Mews were all 1:1 clones (all the Mews in the cartridge were exactly the same one, even ID#). This user posted that Mew's OT and ID#, but the ID is different from Cirelli's Mew, so either they were not all clones or each Toys R Us got a different ID#, or maybe each box of Mews had different ID#. I guess the probablity of finding someone with two of those cartridge distribution Mews from the same event for confirmation is nearly null. Mew OT: YOSHIBA ID: 47310 DVs: 5(hp)/10(atk)/1(def)/5(spe)/12(spd) Contributor: Cirellio A great thanks to Cirellio for his contribution to Gen 1 event preservation! DOWNLOAD: https://projectpokemon.org/forums/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=24562 ps: remember you can use pkhex to revert the Mew to a "distribution state" at level 5, no stat experience and pound as it's only move. ps2: Yes, it's a Pokémon Yellow savegame and it wasn't out when the distribution took place. Cirellio traded the Mew over to that cartridge from his blue prior to dumping the save. I'm in the same situation, I contacted an user who had one Japanesse Mew, but he told me that he transfered to GSC and of course battery died out. I'm waiting for respones if that refered to his english games or he also had gen 2 japanesse games and the Mew vanished. I would like to find at least 1 Jap mew. But you can see here a low quality image of a Mew distributed at Spaceworld 1999. If only we knew if those Mews also had fixed DVs... if that was the case for Spaceworld 1999 Mew, we could at least have one legit pre-VC japanesse Mew (the one from the image). https://web.archive.org/web/20000901092347/http://www.eagb.net/gameboy/special_space_world99_03.htm
