Hi guys as ProjectPokemon doesn’t have australia mew with OT AUS, as a aussie I found one in the public online via FB market, I missed out on eBay, the seller is close to me. Problem is the cost $700 (originally was $439 before being increase) if this get sold we won’t find another one again ever, this is my last chance of buying it and sharing with community with ProjectPokemon. I also have to buy Flash cart. if there anyway the community can help me buy it so I can bring you guys the copy of the rom and save files.1 point

Saori Bidoof and Ari Bidoof are available in trade circulation, I think some of them might be posted somewhere on this site in gen 4 pkm format. They're fairly common, I have them but I'm more of a trader and researcher rather than posting things for free. During my research, I can tell you that most Norii Bidoof and Ori Bidoof you'll find are fake. The Norii Bidoof was lost in time to the gen 4 traders, I've been trying to contact them myself since some were friends I used to know, but I haven't gotten any response. Ori Bidoof, I know of only 1 person who has it but they don't trade their pkm files anymore.1 point

I've created a romhack called The Sacred Wings for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky! A unique story that tells the tale of a Growlithe and Flygon that move into a place on the Grass Continent called Cherri Town. It is a multi-chapter romhack with 9 chapters planned and 1 currently completed. Chapter 1 is around 20-30 minutes and features a dungeon and one boss fight. xDelta patcher is required along with a clean rom Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - The Sacred Wings Chapter 1.zip1 point

I find it ironic when some ROM hackers say to use "clean" or "unedited" dumps for the patches, yet absolutely never validates if the base vanilla ROM being utilized is actually a good dump or not, and will proceed to create patches for that bad dump (or on occasions, a modified bad dump that isn't known to exist period). We really need to evolve past these bad habits already, 10+ years of Pokemon DS related hacking, come on now lol. These patches require a bad dump, this dump to be exact: File: Pokemon_SoulSilver_USA_NDS-XPA.nds CRC-32: ebb387e7 MD5: 545aa550bafeebdd71ee0256d4c122a0 SHA-1: 0959fe9e64dc749382460f1ccf90996f5ef4088d SHA-256: 90f463f2373cda81b6799f58dd55cf3acadb824f183708c00b74817e2f0a6456 This is the correct dump to be using: File: Pokemon - SoulSilver Version (USA).nds CRC-32: d8ea6090 MD5: 8a6c8888bed9e1dce952f840351b73f2 SHA-1: f8dc38ea20c17541a43b58c5e6d18c1732c7e582 SHA-256: 51d0f94a16af7d77c067b4cb7d821ba890a13203a2e2c76049623332c0582e20 Patches for the actual good dump provided at the bottom of this post, you can apply the patch with any of these three pieces of software, if you prefer something else, just ensure that the patching solution you use is compatible with the patches: Xdelta UI: (Windows) https://gbatemp.net/download/xdelta-ui.38327/ MultiPatch: (MacOS) https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/746/ Xdelta Patcher: (Online) (Intended for mobile users, always better to use actual local software instead if possible.) https://kotcrab.github.io/xdelta-wasm/ As a bonus, here is a working online MD5 checksum checker solution, you can verify the results with what is provided above, offline solutions do exist of course, but you are on your own seeking such things: https://minitoolz.com/tools/md5-file-checksum/ Pokemon - Vitalized Silver (20240115) (USA).xdelta Pokemon - Vitalized Silver (20240115) (Hard) (USA).xdelta1 point

I've played a few Soul Link's so far and every time I start my play session for the day it's always kind of an annoying process. Loading up 2 separate emulators, 2 roms, having to rekeybind the controllers every time. I was wondering if someone would be able to make a program that could make it easier. If your unfimiliar with a Soul Link Nuzlocke, heres the rules. 1- Any Pokémon that faints is considered "dead," and must be released or stored in a specified PC box for "dead" Pokémon. 2- You can only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances. 3- You must also nickname all of your Pokémon, for the sake of forming "stronger emotional bonds." 4- In a new area, the first encounters for both players will be, "linked," together until death. 5- If one Pokémon in a linked pair is placed in the PC, it's Soul Link partner must be placed in the PC as well. 6- If one Pokémon in a linked pair dies, it's Soul Link partner is considered dead as well. 7- If one player fails to capture their first encounter in an area, the second player must forfeit their encounter in their corresponding area. 8- Across both players parties, primary typings may not be repeated. Basically what I'm looking for is a program that emulates 2 roms side by side and be able to control them individually. I've thought of a few features to make it better. Features -Emulators from all consoles built in - Ex. VBA, Desmume, and Citra -Saves both roms under 1 "project" and loads them on the same side every time -Type Chart ready -Online Remote Play - Be able to join your friends session online to see and control one of the games. -Games connected locally so you can trade and battle -Database where you can input your linked pokemon pairs and where you caught them -Built in Pokedex Database (Not necessary but would be helpful) -Program reads both your teams and displays them between the game (I'm aware that's not an easy ask but if it's possible, why not) I feel like except for a couple of them this is a completely possible thing to create. I know it probably wont happen but I just thought I'd get the idea out there. I love doing Soul Links and I'm so happy people found a way to make Pokemon Co-op. Thanks for your time.1 point

oh it seems i completely missed the Melon folder like an idiot and i instead took the gba patch instead, im gonna get the correct one and come back with my results. thank you for the response! Lets goooo! that did it i can save and i can finally get to play this game again with different pokemon! excited to get into it1 point

Hi, there should be! There should be two different versions of both midday and midnight included in the zip file - one set in a folder labelled for nogba and one for melon. There's an additional bugfix patch applied to the nogba version of the files that fixes a no saving issue in a different emulator, but it causes saving to fail on melon, so it's not applied on the alternate patch. Might be worth double checking you have the melon-compatible version of midnight installed!1 point

If you're loading a savestate, or just have extremely consistent timing, you're going to have identical results often due to the RNG. You could potentially run into the same issue if you were using 5 separate actual DS's connected to a single source of inputs. One way to avoid it would be to reset them at slightly different intervals, and not reset/load the game using savestates.1 point

Eggs can be TSV abused in any game prior to SWSH, so you're just unlucky that the TSV doesn't happen to match the eggs you've tried so far.1 point

Generation 5 encounters aside from Mystery Gift are generated from two separate RNGs; one for IVs and another for everything else. The range of randomness is sufficient for any value combination to emerge.1 point
-
The term you are referring to is "PID/IV correlation", which is when the game generates a Pokemon and can reliably be reversed into a starting "seed" that, when run forward, produces all the values expected. For SW/SH raids, the game uses a 64-bit seed to generate the same Pokemon for all raid participants. PID, IVs, nature, gender, height, weight, ability, and level. If the original seed is back-calculated, we run it forwards and check if all the values on the Pokemon match what the correlation gives us. Besides SW/SH raids, there are other encounter types that have correlations, and others that don't; if the game uses the built in cryptographically secure RNG to generate a specific encounter type, each "random" result is effectively unrelated to the previous or next. Wild Pokemon in S/V use the CSPRNG, so therefore are not correlated. However, this does not mean you can use any values you want -- you still should respect the feasibility of probability, in that something with 6 flawless IVs is immediately suspect as "cheated", due to the chances of randomly encountering this result being 1:32^6, or 1:2-billion. It's up to the user to know the differences between each encounter type, and to know the rules and probabilities of how individual Pokemon can be acquired. PKHeX is able to tell you details about the encounter type and seeds it detects if you check the verbose legality report, which can be done by holding control when requesting a legality check.1 point
-
Editing your Pokemon gives you full control over PKM data; if you change ribbons, only the ribbon byte will change. If you change the string for nickname or OT, then you have to make sure that the data allocated for it matches whatever the legal state should be. Same goes for other correlated properties like PID and IV. PKHeX does a majority of these checks automatically, but some checks like shiny raids take too much time and are skipped.1 point

The Encryption Constant does not change when moved to Pokémon HOME, that is incorrect. Keep in mind that it's EC mod 100 = 0 when the EC is converted to Decimal. In Hexadecimal, it's EC mod 64 = 0 Either your math was incorrect, or PKSM's was. Also, if you cloned them in Gen 2, and then sent them up, they'd all receive new/different ECs, each with a 1/100 chance to be eligible to evolve to 3-Segment, if you only cloned 1 box, (20 pokemon), then you'd only have a 18.21% chance of finding one that evolves to 3-Segment. If you cloned them AFTER they had already been sent to Bank, then the EC would be identical for the entire box you cloned, so there's no chance for any of them to evolve into 3-Segment. You'd have just copied the exact same set of ECs, all of which already didn't evolve into 3-Segment.1 point

Hello everyone, today I bring you something new to the table. Years ago I wasn't fortunate enough to own every Pokemon game for the Game Boy Advance, it wasn't until years later when I could finally get my hands on more copies of the games, the drawback however is the absurd price tags that many sellers throw these respective titles up for. At one point I looked down at the copies I owned and wondered if I could somehow replicate or utilize dual-slot mode in the game, without having to require these game cartridges. With enough research and some tinkering, I can now happily say that it is now possible to utilize dual-slot mode in Pokemon - Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum Version without requiring the respective Game Boy Advance titles. Pros: - Allows the ability to participate in Dual-Slot Mode exclusive Pokemon encounters. - Able to be switched on the fly without having to reboot the game console. - Allows the ability to obtain Dual-Slot Mode exclusive items. - Can be used on any Nintendo DS/3DS system without requiring the Game Boy Advance game cartridges or Slot-2. Cons: - Does not enable the ability to migrate Pokemon. Why doesn't this allow the ability to migrate Pokemon? Answer: Well, it should be pretty obvious, but the reason being is because you cannot mimic an entire game cartridge with save data using cheat codes. This is a Pal copy of Pokemon diamond that I got at a local pawn shop. It and its case smell horribly of cigarette smoke, and the contacts of the cartridge are pretty much nearing corrosion Despite also taking near forever to save. It somehow has a save file on it. Theres about 9 hours of playtime on it. I managed to get the save file using godmode9 on a modded 3DS Thats all im gonna say. just have a look around I guess.1 point -
PKHeX can be used to import wondercards from our event gallery using these steps. Please note that the below screenshots show what it looks like for Gen 5 saves, but the same procedure works for Gen 4, 6 and 7 saves. If you are using a Gen 4 save, please note the difference between PCD and PGF files: PCD files contain the entire wonder card, while PGF files only contain the gift. Start PKHeX and load your save file as described in a previous section. Click the Mystery Gift button. Click the Import button and browse to a wonder card. Right-click an empty slot and choose "Set". If you do not have any empty slots, you will have to overwrite an existing one. If this is the case and you wish to save it first, right-click the existing slot and click View, then click Export. If you are using a Gen 4 save, you must choose a slot that corresponds to the file you opened (PGT vs PCD). PKHeX will let you know if you choose the wrong one. Click Save Save your file1 point

Pokémon Blaze Black and Pokémon Volt White are edits of the regular Pokémon Black and White versions which self-contain all 649 Pokémon, allowing a player a large amount of variety. In addition, BB/VW also have edited trainers, an increased difficulty level, improvements to many Pokémon and more. They are the spiritual successor of my two other hacks, Pokémon Fire Red Omega and Pokémon Spirit Gold. Blaze Black and Volt White were also - with one minor exception - the first of their kind to be made. I should mention that with the exception of things normally different between Black and White such as Black City, White Forest, the legendary focus and the appearance of Opelucid City, the two games are identical. Well, when I think in preserving this kind of things is to share with the community otherwise it doesn't make any sense in the big picture of event preservation. Following that logic most events are preserved since GF must have the original saves/ carts somewhere in their storage. I was definitely interested in helping but this way of not sharing things with the community its not my way of doing things and its not beneficial in the long term. Even if this turns out to be legit, it's just as if no one ever found it since it won't be shared. Scammers online exist for everything and every Pokémon event so I don't think it will do any difference. Of course the owner does whatever it wants, this is just my opinion.1 point

Before posting or making a thread, these might help more: Save/Ram editing Save/Ram Research (However, Wonder Card/event PKM assistance is on-topic discussion here too. Just make sure there isn't already a thread addressing your concerns) Also, before posting: If what you're going to post could cite discussion, make a thread. If you're just looking for a straight, factual answer, post here. Now ask away about event Pokemon! ***Lupin's original post is below*** Yea hey I heard that Regigigas was released as an event also bringing the other Regi's to the platinum game http://www.pokemonplatinum.com/#/pokemon/regigigas/ this is were I saw it was wondeing if anyone was able to get that pokemon or is able to duplicate the event1 point

A basic reader that can read normal_encount and dai_encount file, that is the file that controls event/promoted raids. To extract such a file from your save, read up on this page. Not much features, and I don't really plan to add much. Besides species, chance, game, tiers, and possibility of shiny (0 is shiny allowed, 2 is forced shiny) what else is there to add, hmm? Note - Refers to no. of attacks. It appears to be the number of moves the mon makes per turn, beyond the Dmax/Gmax move. Note that drop_rewards/bonus_rewards presently not supported properly, and I have no intention for it to be supported properly.1 point -

Hello everyone, I'm theSLAYER, your events moderator and forum manager here! First of all, I'll like to thank everyone for their past contributions and co-operation thus far! Foreword My hopes aside, I expect SWSH's events to be similar to LGPE, namely being non-injectable. As there are distributions for items and clothings/outfits, our contribution system would slightly differ from previous generations. Please please please read the entire section below, especially before you redeem your gift. How to contribute We need both of these: 1. Data that contains the event Provide a before redemption save and after redemption save (you could upload it here or PM it to me) [You're gonna need a modified/hacked Switch in order to extract the saves] or Alternatively, you may PM me and donate to us the serial code, if it's a items or clothings/outfits event. [Do note that with this, I will not be able to return you the code] 2. Details relating to the event If possible provide as much of below as possible: Pictures of the event location, the distribution device etc (if it's a local distribution) Photo/screengrab of receiving screen Serial code card (you can blank out the last 12 digits of the code; we only need the prefix, and a nice look at the card)1 point

Hello everyone, back with something different again. A couple days ago I was running through Turnback Cave to grab the three items you can get there (for completion purposes), the items you get are the Reaper Cloth (3 rooms), Rare Bone (4-15 rooms), and Stardust (16-30 rooms). Getting the Rare Bone and the Stardust isn't really problematic to get, the Reaper Cloth however is a bit difficult to get, getting three pillar rooms in a row isn't as easy as some people think. So I decided that since I might not be the only one wanting to complete their copy of the game with item pick ups and what not, I made a list of codes for each version of the game to make it easier to get the items based on the amount of rooms you went through. I hope this helps and I hope you all enjoy! Note: I will not guarantee this list to be finalized as I may improve the codes more to prevent any sort of issues these codes may bring to their respected games. I prefer being thorough about making codes so I can ensure only the best for everyone and not some silly joke(s).
