Hi guys as ProjectPokemon doesn’t have australia mew with OT AUS, as a aussie I found one in the public online via FB market, I missed out on eBay, the seller is close to me. Problem is the cost $700 (originally was $439 before being increase) if this get sold we won’t find another one again ever, this is my last chance of buying it and sharing with community with ProjectPokemon. I also have to buy Flash cart. if there anyway the community can help me buy it so I can bring you guys the copy of the rom and save files.1 point

If you have CFW on the Switch and SWSH, there’s a loophole where you can move Gen 3-7 captured mons into HOME, provided those species exist in SWSH. Otherwise you’ll need someone to move them in for you.. which isn’t really a good idea for involved parties.1 point

Saori Bidoof and Ari Bidoof are available in trade circulation, I think some of them might be posted somewhere on this site in gen 4 pkm format. They're fairly common, I have them but I'm more of a trader and researcher rather than posting things for free. During my research, I can tell you that most Norii Bidoof and Ori Bidoof you'll find are fake. The Norii Bidoof was lost in time to the gen 4 traders, I've been trying to contact them myself since some were friends I used to know, but I haven't gotten any response. Ori Bidoof, I know of only 1 person who has it but they don't trade their pkm files anymore.1 point

Which ones are you looking for? Pretty sure the Magikarps are available for free somewhere on this site. A lot of the Ralts, Shinx, Bidoof are also available in trading circles, there are some OTs that are restricted and NFT. Don't spend any time looking for Psyduck or Heracross.1 point

I find it ironic when some ROM hackers say to use "clean" or "unedited" dumps for the patches, yet absolutely never validates if the base vanilla ROM being utilized is actually a good dump or not, and will proceed to create patches for that bad dump (or on occasions, a modified bad dump that isn't known to exist period). We really need to evolve past these bad habits already, 10+ years of Pokemon DS related hacking, come on now lol. These patches require a bad dump, this dump to be exact: File: Pokemon_SoulSilver_USA_NDS-XPA.nds CRC-32: ebb387e7 MD5: 545aa550bafeebdd71ee0256d4c122a0 SHA-1: 0959fe9e64dc749382460f1ccf90996f5ef4088d SHA-256: 90f463f2373cda81b6799f58dd55cf3acadb824f183708c00b74817e2f0a6456 This is the correct dump to be using: File: Pokemon - SoulSilver Version (USA).nds CRC-32: d8ea6090 MD5: 8a6c8888bed9e1dce952f840351b73f2 SHA-1: f8dc38ea20c17541a43b58c5e6d18c1732c7e582 SHA-256: 51d0f94a16af7d77c067b4cb7d821ba890a13203a2e2c76049623332c0582e20 Patches for the actual good dump provided at the bottom of this post, you can apply the patch with any of these three pieces of software, if you prefer something else, just ensure that the patching solution you use is compatible with the patches: Xdelta UI: (Windows) https://gbatemp.net/download/xdelta-ui.38327/ MultiPatch: (MacOS) https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/746/ Xdelta Patcher: (Online) (Intended for mobile users, always better to use actual local software instead if possible.) https://kotcrab.github.io/xdelta-wasm/ As a bonus, here is a working online MD5 checksum checker solution, you can verify the results with what is provided above, offline solutions do exist of course, but you are on your own seeking such things: https://minitoolz.com/tools/md5-file-checksum/ Pokemon - Vitalized Silver (20240115) (USA).xdelta Pokemon - Vitalized Silver (20240115) (Hard) (USA).xdelta1 point

I hotfixed the exe shortly after release with a fix for some channel recognition; can you confirm if it is flagged on latest release (or current dev build)? https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/commit/bf476f4de55217b4713027677b4fc1277a3562c81 point

It should be a Method 1 PIDIV type, not "none". Either the PID was changed, or the IVs were changed. It's not legal, and the program is working as intended.1 point

Is there a list anywhere that shows what new moves are put into the game and what they replaced in game? was trying to use pkhex to edit move legitimacy but only the base games moves show up. So far I have gotten these results from pkhex. For example draco meteor in game comes up as air cutter on pkhex etc... air cutter = Hidden Power fury attack = draco meteor twister = hurricane tail whip = stone edge dig = energy ball1 point

This issue has already been fixed in the latest dev build of PKHeX, met location text should appear correctly in future releases of PKHeX.1 point

If you're loading a savestate, or just have extremely consistent timing, you're going to have identical results often due to the RNG. You could potentially run into the same issue if you were using 5 separate actual DS's connected to a single source of inputs. One way to avoid it would be to reset them at slightly different intervals, and not reset/load the game using savestates.1 point

I played to the end of the demo! Looking forward to more progress in the future! Personally, I think it would be nice to have sound effects when the main character speaks, like other hacks. Also, I don't have a problem with a little more difficulty.1 point

Eggs can be TSV abused in any game prior to SWSH, so you're just unlucky that the TSV doesn't happen to match the eggs you've tried so far.1 point

The term you are referring to is "PID/IV correlation", which is when the game generates a Pokemon and can reliably be reversed into a starting "seed" that, when run forward, produces all the values expected. For SW/SH raids, the game uses a 64-bit seed to generate the same Pokemon for all raid participants. PID, IVs, nature, gender, height, weight, ability, and level. If the original seed is back-calculated, we run it forwards and check if all the values on the Pokemon match what the correlation gives us. Besides SW/SH raids, there are other encounter types that have correlations, and others that don't; if the game uses the built in cryptographically secure RNG to generate a specific encounter type, each "random" result is effectively unrelated to the previous or next. Wild Pokemon in S/V use the CSPRNG, so therefore are not correlated. However, this does not mean you can use any values you want -- you still should respect the feasibility of probability, in that something with 6 flawless IVs is immediately suspect as "cheated", due to the chances of randomly encountering this result being 1:32^6, or 1:2-billion. It's up to the user to know the differences between each encounter type, and to know the rules and probabilities of how individual Pokemon can be acquired. PKHeX is able to tell you details about the encounter type and seeds it detects if you check the verbose legality report, which can be done by holding control when requesting a legality check.1 point
-
Editing your Pokemon gives you full control over PKM data; if you change ribbons, only the ribbon byte will change. If you change the string for nickname or OT, then you have to make sure that the data allocated for it matches whatever the legal state should be. Same goes for other correlated properties like PID and IV. PKHeX does a majority of these checks automatically, but some checks like shiny raids take too much time and are skipped.1 point

My original Pokémon game. Got this game on Christmas Day of 1998. This is the original save file I had as a kid. I've played this game off and on since that day and as I got better at playing Pokémon I taught my Pokémon better moves so I could use them in Pokémon stadium. Enjoy a part of my childhood. Though I have no idea how the battery in this game has not died yet in over 20 plus years now lol. Glad I got it backed up now so I can share it with all of you and share with my future family to. Enjoy !!! Note: Great for use in the Pokémon Stadium Also has all three of the starters traded in from different save files *Plan to do a update in the future as I still play this game.1 point -

Hello everyone, today I bring you something new to the table. Years ago I wasn't fortunate enough to own every Pokemon game for the Game Boy Advance, it wasn't until years later when I could finally get my hands on more copies of the games, the drawback however is the absurd price tags that many sellers throw these respective titles up for. At one point I looked down at the copies I owned and wondered if I could somehow replicate or utilize dual-slot mode in the game, without having to require these game cartridges. With enough research and some tinkering, I can now happily say that it is now possible to utilize dual-slot mode in Pokemon - Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum Version without requiring the respective Game Boy Advance titles. Pros: - Allows the ability to participate in Dual-Slot Mode exclusive Pokemon encounters. - Able to be switched on the fly without having to reboot the game console. - Allows the ability to obtain Dual-Slot Mode exclusive items. - Can be used on any Nintendo DS/3DS system without requiring the Game Boy Advance game cartridges or Slot-2. Cons: - Does not enable the ability to migrate Pokemon. Why doesn't this allow the ability to migrate Pokemon? Answer: Well, it should be pretty obvious, but the reason being is because you cannot mimic an entire game cartridge with save data using cheat codes. This is a Pal copy of Pokemon diamond that I got at a local pawn shop. It and its case smell horribly of cigarette smoke, and the contacts of the cartridge are pretty much nearing corrosion Despite also taking near forever to save. It somehow has a save file on it. Theres about 9 hours of playtime on it. I managed to get the save file using godmode9 on a modded 3DS Thats all im gonna say. just have a look around I guess.1 point -
The Mew is ok, PKHeX just doesn't recognize it. This is an issue with many event Pokemon from Gen 1/2 and even Gen 3. We would need a serialized format with all the relevant data of all of them to get that fixed. https://github.com/projectpokemon/EventsGallery/issues/261 Until then, if you trust the source, just ignore the message.1 point

Pokémon Blaze Black and Pokémon Volt White are edits of the regular Pokémon Black and White versions which self-contain all 649 Pokémon, allowing a player a large amount of variety. In addition, BB/VW also have edited trainers, an increased difficulty level, improvements to many Pokémon and more. They are the spiritual successor of my two other hacks, Pokémon Fire Red Omega and Pokémon Spirit Gold. Blaze Black and Volt White were also - with one minor exception - the first of their kind to be made. I should mention that with the exception of things normally different between Black and White such as Black City, White Forest, the legendary focus and the appearance of Opelucid City, the two games are identical. Old Pokémon Save File. Replaced my battery years ago and have been playing it for years. Though some help got it on my 3ds consoler to get the GS Ball. While the gave has been completed this is a great save file with lots to still see and do. It has a cool decorated room from Mystery Gifts items, Pokémon From PYNC event Pokémon, lots of shiny Pokémon, and lots of Pokémon that can be used for Pokémon Stadium 2. Enjoy!!!1 point -

Just make sure there isn't already a thread addressing your concerns) Also, before posting: If what you're going to post could cite discussion, make a thread. If you're just looking for a straight, factual answer, post here. Now ask away about event Pokemon! ***Lupin's original post is below*** Yea hey I heard that Regigigas was released as an event also bringing the other Regi's to the platinum game http://www.pokemonplatinum.com/#/pokemon/regigigas/ this is were I saw it was wondeing if anyone was able to get that pokemon or is able to duplicate the event1 point

Hello everyone, I'm theSLAYER, your events moderator and forum manager here! First of all, I'll like to thank everyone for their past contributions and co-operation thus far! Foreword My hopes aside, I expect SWSH's events to be similar to LGPE, namely being non-injectable. As there are distributions for items and clothings/outfits, our contribution system would slightly differ from previous generations. Please please please read the entire section below, especially before you redeem your gift. How to contribute We need both of these: 1. Data that contains the event Provide a before redemption save and after redemption save (you could upload it here or PM it to me) [You're gonna need a modified/hacked Switch in order to extract the saves] or Alternatively, you may PM me and donate to us the serial code, if it's a items or clothings/outfits event. [Do note that with this, I will not be able to return you the code] 2. Details relating to the event If possible provide as much of below as possible: Pictures of the event location, the distribution device etc (if it's a local distribution) Photo/screengrab of receiving screen Serial code card (you can blank out the last 12 digits of the code; we only need the prefix, and a nice look at the card)1 point

Hello everyone, back with something different again. A couple days ago I was running through Turnback Cave to grab the three items you can get there (for completion purposes), the items you get are the Reaper Cloth (3 rooms), Rare Bone (4-15 rooms), and Stardust (16-30 rooms). Getting the Rare Bone and the Stardust isn't really problematic to get, the Reaper Cloth however is a bit difficult to get, getting three pillar rooms in a row isn't as easy as some people think. So I decided that since I might not be the only one wanting to complete their copy of the game with item pick ups and what not, I made a list of codes for each version of the game to make it easier to get the items based on the amount of rooms you went through. I hope this helps and I hope you all enjoy! Note: I will not guarantee this list to be finalized as I may improve the codes more to prevent any sort of issues these codes may bring to their respected games. I prefer being thorough about making codes so I can ensure only the best for everyone and not some silly joke(s).
