DNS Settings Problem

Recommended Posts

This probably has come up many times, in the forum, but I can't find anything about it. When I use python, it tells me to go DNS setting of 127.0.0.1, but that is not a DNS that the DS can take, is it my DS's fault or my router's? Thanks for the help.

127.0.0.1 is your computer, it's the loopback address for ipv4. for example, if you were hosting a website on your pc and you opened up a browser and typed in 127.0.0.1 or "localhost", the browser would load your website.

e: what i'm saying is that you should go to a command prompt, type in "ipconfig"(no quotes) and use the ip you're given there.
