I don't own Pokemon ranch but I do own Pokemon platinum and I need to get mew on my platinum Ds cartridge so that can finish getting all the Pokemon from the Kanto regain. At the moment I'm trying to get all the Pokemon that I own so far from my diamond cartridge to my platinum and so I don't have any empty boxes at the moment. So my questions are:

Do I need to have Pokemon range to be able to get mew?

How will I be able to get mew on to my platinum Ds cartridge?

Is it possible for me to put mew on a different Pokemon cartridge then transfer to platinum?

If you have a diamond, you can install my pokemon ranch on your wii and transfer 1000 pokemon to the ranch, then deposit an egg and you will be asked for the trade. You can modify the wii's clock so you don't have to wait 6 days for the ranch to reach level 25.

Please don't double post.

Also, it's rather simple.
1. Download whatever Pokemon file you want
2. Load Pokegen
3. Select Target Game type => Platinum
4. Import the file in
5. Code Generator

This should work :D
You might have to rename .PK4 to .PKM for it to work on Pokegen

If you're trying to convert a PK3 file, convert it to PK4 using PKHeX   [import a Gen 4 save, then drag in the PK3, then drag it out]

I just updated my previous post with extra options/steps.

Our Downloads section has a bunch of files.

Event Gallery has events, and In-game Series has Pokemon that you encounter in-game (including event Pokemon encountered in-game, due to event ticket etc)

An example, would be Faraway Island Shiny Mew.

Why are you showing Serebii's page in the background?
If you import the file, all the data should already be there.

Additionally, you have "Party Count" selected, which is incorrect.

1. Set all the pokemon you want into the Boxes     (Pokemon support drag-drop, so drag the .PK4/.PKM in)
2. Make sure they're all selected (Blue Squares)
3. Check "Selected Pokemon"
4. After that, in the list, you can scroll through and get the codes for each Pokemon

The 3 Pokemon you see in my image above, were imported.
1. Faraway Island Mew
2. My Pokemon Ranch Mew
3. WISHMKR Jirachi (with all PK3 files mentioned, converted to PK4 using PKHeX)

Think it worked, thank you

only issue seems to be the pokdex number which comes up as ???

 

is that due to no natdex?

Did you input/copy/type the code correctly?

You doing it on console, or emulator? Actual AR cart or with a flash cart?

the fact that bad egg pops up, would mean that at least the AR seems to be overwriting that slots code.

Bad egg pops up when that slots data doesn't match the slots checksum, so maybe there was an error on your part.

I could test if the codes are working later, but I don't think Pokegen would gen them wrong.

in the mean time, try again, but only with one code enabled at a time.

Bad egg pops up when that slots data doesn't match the slots checksum, so maybe there was an error on your part.

I could test if the codes are working later, but I don't think Pokegen would gen them wrong.
