There is two different Max IV codes; Wild Pokemon IV Modifier and Marking Pokemon IV Modifier.

The Wild Pokemon Modifier turns any Wild Pokemon IV to your chosen set. You can Modify any Wild Pokemon IV Set to your desire.

The Marking Pokemon IV Modifier acts in the same manner as the Wild Pokemon IV Modifier. You can Modify your own caught Pokemon by Marking it in Bill's PC. You then Deposit it in any Storage Box to gain the chosen IV Set.

You can use the Marking Pokemon IV Modifier to change and obtain a certain Hidden Power Type.

Replace [XX] with [00-1F].

So how does the '00-1F' work and what do you mean by 'marking' a pokemon in the PC? I'm a bit bad with these things so sorry about the fuss.

No problem. This code acts as a Modifier as you can see and uses Hex Values. The Hex Values for the IV are from 00 to 1F; 00 being 00 and 1F being 31 and everything in between.

The order of the IV are in the same order of your Pokemon Stats; Hp, Atk, Def, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def and Speed. You replace XX with your desire IV ranging from 00 to 1F. After you have your chosen IV, you must go log on to Bill's PC in any Pokemon Center and choose the option Move Pokemon. You then click a Pokemon and a Menu will pop up. When you see the Menu, choose the option Mark a Pokemon, click that option and you will see 6 different Shapes, click any Shape and click Confirm. After that, drag and drop that Pokemon into any Storage Box to gain effect and then drag and drop that Pokemon back into your Party.
