Pokemon Sunday aired in Japan today. The show revealed Pokemon Black and White starter Pokemon silhouettes. Not much information is known about these silhouettes. The June 2010 issue of Coro Coro is going to be in sale in Japan on May 15, 2010 and the magazine is going to show the 3 Pokemon Black and White starter pokemon. However the scans could be leaked over the internet before even the offcial release date.</p>

That's interesting, a lot of reads I see say {Fire - Grass - Water) due to the middle, and this is an off-quote here, looking like the spawn of a Turtwig + Pikachu + Spoink.

I like your theory, what animal do you see the middle being based on that makes you think of water?

These are mines. x) I know, the grass-lizard i made in real will be the fire-type, and the piggy will be the grass, I just couldn't resist because of the leaf-like tail..

I'm seeing the top one as grass. Kinda water on the left. My bad feeling from the moment Gen 5 was announced got worse with the sillhouettes...

Pokemon got truly lazy at Gen 4 (Sinnoh)....... and because of that I have FURY!

only if Nintendo had inspiration like they did in Gen 1 & 2.......

they almost look FAKE to me.......

After looking again it looks like:

the left will be water (big old tail fin and the arm things almost look like they have webbed fingers at the end)

Middle will be Grass (Leaves on the head - though they look like ears in the silhouette)

Which renders the right to be fire ... though it looks like it has a Beaver tail - which would make it water

I dunno... I like the look of the left one the most. But we never know what the final evo will look like. Did anyone expect charmeleon to turn into some beastly dragon looking charizard, or Turtwig becoming some mean ass almost-turtle-like huge scary thing lol?

>.< Randomspot, thats not what i ment........ though i DO think they are lazily drawn, and how they look fake to me, all new Pokemon look fake to me at first(ex. piplup, chimchar, and turtwig all looked fake to me at first) and i'll buy it for a few reasons, no.1:its pokemon! im also the pokemon newsbot for my friends at school. i am happy the new starters are here though (wow i usaly dont type that much)well, at least semi-here

That was my issue also, though I saw the water because it vaguely resembles Buizel or however its spelled.

I dunno... I like the look of the left one the most.

I'm also thinking these look close to fakemon rather than Nintendoemon. My Avatar looks more Nintendoish than these to me.

The 2nd pokemon is the water one, like a pig bunny thingy, looks like a pig made by children with bunny ears, and the pig tail.

The last is the fire pokemon, its a beaver thingy, and it got somthing that look like the thingy floatzel got around his neck

I saw some dude on youtube trying to pass off a full gen V pokedex as real but it was extremely obvious

well I guess to a fan like me and some of you that it was just a bunch of reworked gen III and some gen IV sprites and they were a thousand times better than those silhouettes.

If some wacked out nerd trying to get publicity can do such amazing work (for free) , what is Nintendo doing?

I'll still buy the games though =P

Many games these days focus on graphics and online which is strange to me because Nintendo should be focusing on the appearance of the Pokemon as such. Maybe they are just doing too many games at once?

Totally agree on the first part and no excuse on the second, they should know that from the get go, Pokemon is one of their leading money makers, their games usually hit number one on top sales on like the first 2 days after release they should know what fans want by now lol it's been over a decade.

They should focus on adding real animal species

Like I don't think we have a werewolf pokemon yet

Lol just like I said, they should start focusing on missing species, we already have pigs why make another? and why fire pig what is suppose to be bacon?

Third: Don't say they are the real deal since it is not proven otherwise. Since your source is obviously Serebii.net or pokebeach they say that it is not 100% guaranteed that those starters are legit.
