old pokemon pearl save corrupted ?

Recommended Posts

hii! this is my first time posting so hopefully im doing this right-

as a kid i played pokemon pearl on an r4 card, until at some point the game stopped working and i couldnt open it anymore.

a few years later i tried recovering the save file to see if i could keep playing, but it seems to be corrupted, giving me this message on pkhex:

Attempted to load an unsupported file type/size. This could be caused by loading a different generation Pokemon file on an unsupported generation or your file is corrupt.

File Loaded:

C:\Users\eliza\Desktop\POKEMON P.SAV

File Size: 524288 bytes

524288 bytes (0x80000)

i've dumped the save a few times, and it's given this error each time.

i've also tried opening the file in an emulator, but it just starts a new game ^^;

the save is attached below. any help is appreciated !

Completely filled with null data.

So nothing can be retrieved from this, since there's nothing of use here.
