English Save On a Japanese Copy

so I want to use my English fire red save on my Japanese copy but it wont work, not sure why because my emerald, ruby and sapphire work fine on the Japanese copies but fr and lg don't, can someone help me?

It should work, it normally does. Make sure your Japanese copies of the games are real retail carts, not bootlegs.

I'm having the same issue with your saves. Maybe the games check something in the save. I guess all I can say is "don't do that".

It's not like swapping saves is something that was intended..

(It's funny, cause I accidentally imported your save into JP Emerald. Which it boots up past continue, but loads up funky. That's just how FRLG save works in Emerald lol)

Were you able to convert your file? I'm trying to convert mine so I can use the e-reader, but it always get corrupted. I changed all the pokémon region and names, OT names, basically made everything japanese with the PkHex, but still no emulator can load my save file as japanese.
