PokeManiac Cooper Posted January 14, 2021 Share Posted January 14, 2021 Hi I have recently bought a generic Chinese game dumper, I was able to use the device to download my Pokemon Crystal save to my PC and edit the file using PKHeX, but when I try to download my Pokemon Red save I seem to be running into some issues. I can export the .sav file but when I try to load as a battery file while playing pokemon red in Visual Boy Advance I cannot continue the save in the start up. Using the same file I get the attached error when trying to open in PKHex. Please find attached relevant files, any help will be greatly appreciated. Kaphotics Posted January 14, 2021 Share Posted January 14, 2021 Open it in a hex editor; the first thousand or so bytes appear non-random, but the rest of the file is FF. Not a valid save file dump; PKHeX working as intended. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
