8 Bit-Wolf
So with with eggs, and some others, all you have to do is put a pk7 or old file in a pk8 instance of pkhex and see if its square and if not us .pid=$shiny0 to get it square. But for legendaries without fateful encounter flag, can all one do is trail and error? Or is there a quicker method such as using a spreadsheet to determine squareness from an rng report? You need RNG reporter programs to add a XOR=0 function. Else get the spread of PIDs from it, then manually calculate which PID is XOR=0, then RNG that. SkyLink98
Pokefinder has the XOR function. It is only compatibile with gen 3 and 4 tho https://github.com/Admiral-Fish/PokeFinder Edited June 11, 2020 by SkyLink24

Also since it's XOR=0, the PID won't change when imported up.
Vladcik
PokeFinder has updated methods and everything for Gen 3/4, so nothing broken compared to RNG Reporter that we dropped any support on it. We're working on Gen 5. 3DSRNGTool has also Gen 6/7 support with squares; Take care to use 1.0.5, 1.0.4 is broken.
