Which I'm getting a lot of lately ... In order of appearance: Tbird miketoocool34 Rules: Timed Battle Enter my favourite lead in the world Tbird sent out Ambipom (lvl 100 Ambipom ?). miketoocool34 sent out Tyranitar (lvl 100 Tyranitar ?). Tyranitar's Sand Stream whipped up a sandstorm! A sandstorm brewed! Ambipom used Fake Out. It's not very effective... Tyranitar lost 15% of its health. Tyranitar flinched! The sandstorm rages. Ambipom is buffetted by the sandstorm! Ambipom lost 6% of its health. Tyranitar's leftovers restored its health a little! Tyranitar restored 6% of its health. --- Standard start, fake out and taunt. No SR today Ambipom used Taunt. Tyranitar fell for the taunt! Tyranitar used Stone Edge. Ambipom lost 94% of its health. Tbird's Ambipom fainted. The sandstorm rages. Tyranitar's leftovers restored its health a little! Tyranitar restored 6% of its health. --- I guess he saw that coming . Having none of my shananigans. Tbird switched in Umbreon (lvl 100 Umbreon ?). Tyranitar used Stone Edge. Umbreon lost 40% of its health. Umbreon used Curse. Umbreon's speed was lowered. Umbreon's attack was raised. Umbreon's defence was raised. The sandstorm rages. Umbreon is buffetted by the sandstorm! Umbreon lost 6% of its health. Tyranitar's leftovers restored its health a little! Tyranitar restored 6% of its health. The sandstorm rages. Umbreon is buffetted by the sandstorm! Umbreon lost 6% of its health. Umbreon's leftovers restored its health a little! Umbreon restored 6% of its health. --- More cursing, he's gonna pay Tyranitar used Stone Edge. A critical hit! Umbreon lost 82% of its health. Tbird's Umbreon fainted. Lapras is buffetted by the sandstorm! Lapras lost 6% of its health. Slowbro is buffetted by the sandstorm! Slowbro lost 6% of its health. Lapras's leftovers restored its health a little! Lapras restored 6% of its health. --- Ok I had no idea what I was thinking here Lapras used Dragon Dance. Lapras's attack was raised. Lapras's speed was raised. Slowbro used Focus Blast. It's super effective! Lapras lost 53% of its health. The sandstorm rages. Lapras is buffetted by the sandstorm! Lapras lost 6% of its health. Slowbro is buffetted by the sandstorm! Slowbro lost 6% of its health. Lapras's leftovers restored its health a little! Lapras restored 6% of its health. --- Well seeing as I'm here now I may aswell DD and hope for the best. One more Focus blast and I'm dead. But it has poor Acc so I'll take my chances Elveon has entered the room. Lapras used Dragon Dance. Lapras's attack was raised. Lapras's speed was raised. Slowbro used Focus Blast. It's super effective! Lapras lost 45% of its health. Tbird's Lapras fainted. The sandstorm rages. Slowbro is buffetted by the sandstorm! Slowbro lost 6% of its health. --- Sure, bad accuracy . Only got myself to blame there Tbird: so much for poor accuracy Xtremebattler has entered the room. Tbird switched in Ninetales (lvl 100 Ninetales ?). Ninetales used Energy Ball. It's super effective! Slowbro lost 39% of its health. Slowbro used Surf. It's super effective! Ninetales lost 108% of its health. Tbird's Ninetales fainted. The sandstorm rages. Slowbro is buffetted by the sandstorm! Slowbro lost 6% of its health. --- Well the thinking here was, outspeed it and energy ball it hopefull get OHKO...Then it struck me, well two things did, Slowbro has good special defense... and Ninetales hates surf Tbird switched in Hitmontop (lvl 100 Hitmontop ?). Hitmontop used Mach Punch. It's not very effective... Slowbro lost 13% of its health. miketoocool34's Slowbro fainted. The sandstorm rages. Hitmontop is buffetted by the sandstorm! Hitmontop lost 6% of its health. --- Ok finally killed something , albeit a revenge kill, but that's what mach punch is for miketoocool34 switched in Blissey (lvl 100 Blissey ?). Hitmontop used Close Combat. It's super effective! Blissey lost 224% of its health. miketoocool34's Blissey fainted. Hitmontop's defence was lowered. Hitmontop's special defence was lowered. The sandstorm rages. Hitmontop is buffetted by the sandstorm! Hitmontop lost 6% of its health. --- Ok this is where the luck started, I guess he forgot that Blissy is a SPECIAL wall. Hitmontop lost 6% of its health. --- I was expecting a brave bird, but getting out of hypnosis' dodge is just as good... Dunno what the hell I'm gunna do next though Crobat used Hypnosis. LadyMiir: *Cheers* So yeah that's one of my weird sweeps. I know I made ALOT of bad moves there, but I was panicking and what not. Just glad it all came together in the end. Any thoughts? wraith89 Posted December 4, 2009 Share Posted December 4, 2009 Slowking has better SpDef than Slowbro... and if you invest properly, Ninetales should not be OHKOd by a Surf from Slowbro. I put little investment in my Ninetales's Special Attack though and concentrate on its Speed first and its defenses. And wow, that is horrible... Focus Blast hitting twice in a row? Sure, it hits ME 8 times in a row but will not hit the other person for a long time. Anyways nice battle Tbird... and how is Ninetales treating you? I was going to invest some EV's into the defence but after a bit of discussion it seemed that straight 252/252 could be for the best. Any recommendation for a good EV spread?
