Is there anything in development, or will it be many months until any kind of save editing is possible? I know there are some save editors for some other Switch games currently. I know the contents of a save file will vary from game to game, but is the general process to read and access a save files contents relatively similar in different games? theSLAYER Posted November 8, 2018 Share Posted November 8, 2018 Previously, the devs had SM demo play around with, to know whether the saves were further encrypted (beyond using 3DS in-house encryption technology). However, in this scenario, there is no public demo to work on. As much as other Switch saves would be useful for analysis, we won’t know if GameFreak will pull another memecrypt (lol), so it’s a waiting game for everyone. Such programs aren’t magic, wait patiently. while I expect it to work soon after release, that just my guess, and not the dev’s word. lets all wait, shall we? 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
