Additionally, there are confirmed reports of players encountering it shiny. There are unconfirmed reports stating that a shiny Lugia will be caught in the first ball (as long as it doesn't block/dodge it, of course).Speculation: Furthermore, it appears that the rates for encountering a shiny Lugia might be higher than standard rates, as there have been numerous sightings in the early hours of it's re-introduction to being a raid boss.
