What does "NB" stand-for in the first post?

Anyway, I got a page up, specifically for Any% Glitchless Shiny Legality Pokemon caught/received in Gen I games.

It's Nota Bene, a latin abbreviation.

I begin a spreadsheet indicating the best way to shinyhunt a Pokemon based on the french works about and my discoveries. It'll take around 2 weeks to complete it.

Here a quick look:

Looks cool! I'm assuming we're going to ignore Masuda Method + Breeding + Shiny charm?

I focus on "catching" for the moment but we can later add it if people want it.

I could be wrong, but I thought that the cave of origin pokemon and pokemon channel Jirachi were all shiny locked?

I'll like to add on: pretty sure OR and AS Cave of Origin legends is locked. Probably easier to soft reset in USUM.

Channel Jirachi was recently confirmed to be not locked, if im not mistaken.

After over 50,000 resets for Shiny Celebi on VC Crystal I decided to see what other shiny Mythical Pokemon I could possibly hunt, if any at all.  I come to realize that Manaphy could be shiny from the Ranger games.  I only ever played Ranger 3 for the Deoxys as it was the only Pokemon I needed from it back then.  After looking through my 3DS games today I come to notice I didn't have any hatched Manaphy and all mine we're from Wi-Fi Events.  So checked my Ranger 3 carts and I realized I still have the Manaphy Egg, Heatran, and Shaymin available still.  I couldn't believe my luck.

So my question:  I just keep trading it to new save files until it finally hatches shiny right?

Also my second question is regarding CHANNEL Jirachi.  I noticed Bulbapedia states that "due to a glitch it can be shiny".  I also notice this guide states "Reset EUR-RS".  So do I just send a Jirachi from Channel, if it's not shiny start the Ruby/Sapphire game again and try again?  Also is there any further information on why it can be shiny and what/why the glitch occurs?  Also any statistics on how rare the Jirachi is etc?  I cannot seem to find much on the Channel Jirachi.

For Manaphy you have to receive the egg in a game and trade it in another check if shiny, if not trade in another ...

For Jirachi you should use emulator and RNG calculator when you receive the datas in Ruby/Sapphire. Search in PPorg more details, it's really complicated.
